EmeraldDragon: ok guys this is my first Fruits basket fic, I have Harry Potter ones up on FanFiction but no one apparently liked them cuse I have gotten like 10 maybe reviews total which it why I stopped writing on them. So if you read this fic review, if you like or not. Plz let me know what I can fix to make it likable.

I'm making my own character. Her name is Emerald (hence my pen nameie thing) and she is a member of...well I wont give it all away so read and you will find out.

The whole plane ride was good. The student Exchange program got me some good seats. I couldn’t wait to see Japan and the people I was gunna stay with, all I knew was that their last names were Sohma and they had three teenagers going to the school I'd be going to, and they were the same age as I was.

I petted my soft hair. I loved my hair and that is the first thing people notice about me, my hair. Its long, almost to my bottom when down, and it was a striking blond, though the blond isn't what they notice, its the NATURAL green streaks in my hair. Yes I said natural and I mean N A T U R AL!!!! My green hair is all mine, not bottle.

People don't like to believe it, but my leg hair is even a light green!

I am a member of the American Zodiac. I am the Gemini Dragon (hint hint to name thing). I change when I hug girls and when I get weak. When I turn into a dragon I am about the size*hight wise* as a large dog, and *lengthwise* as long as two medium suitcases. I'm an emerald green (duhhh) with gold horns, talons, spikes on my back and whiskers (if it didn't seem like it all those are gold)

As the attendant cam on the intercom and said we were landing I got excited, I was about to enter Japan!! And go to a school...in JAPAN!

What I love Japan. They make good Manga (hehe duhhhh or I wouldn't write this story)

The plane landed and I got my bag and went out to meet the people I was staying with.

Shigure had dragged us down to the stinking airport full of people just to meet some American girl who was gunna live with us for a year. She gunna live with us I don't have to meet her at the airport.

I’m sitting in a chair when I hear “Hi my name is Emerald Linkin. I think I'm staying with you.” Shigure had been holding a sign that had the name Emerald on it, and it sounded like that was her.

“Ahh yes you are and my name is Shigure Sohma, this is Tohru Honda, Yuki Sohma, and that there is Kyo Sohma, he's not to friendly to new people.”

I turned and was going to say something smart assie when I saw the girl Emerald. They didn't make girls like that here in Japan. Her hair was an amazing color and I had never seen eyes that green before. She was not too thin or too thick, just the right size to wrap your arms around and feel just right...OMG! Why was I thinking about some new American girl like that! I didn't even know her!

Suddenly I blinked and realized she had come over and was offering her hand saying ‘nice to meet you Kyo’. I took her hand and my mind just took over

“Nice to meet you too.” I said.

“Well lets go home and show you were you will be staying shall we.” Shigure said.

This year was going to be interesting, I wonder if shell end up finding out our secret?
