I've built around me a

wall of fire to

keep myself safe from harm

A mask of anger

A dagger of coal

I know that if I do not use these `keepsakes' I will be hurt again

I don't want that

Treated like a monster all of my life

Maintained the roll of `outcast' all of my life

The cursed demon of fire

rolls through my veins

But if I wear my mask of anger

And carry my dagger of coal

I can feed my wall to grow stronger,

The flames to grow higher

To grow taller

Then I will be safe

Some just have to interfere

When I'm with you my fire dies down

When you're with me your ice begins to melt

We are basically even are we not?

I used to hate you

I blamed you for every wrong

that could have gone right

I can't do that anymore

When He threatened your life

Just to protect you
