"Come on, Yuki! Let's go and--" The rest of Ayame's sentence was cut off by Yuki hitting him squarely in the jaw.

"Don't you ever shut up." the rat muttered as he rubbed his fist.

"Yuki, try not to destroy the house ok?" Shigure called as he took a sip of his tea.

"He's such an idiot." Yuki muttered.

A few weeks had passed since my encounter with Akito. Kana, Touji and I were visiting Shigure and the others. In those few weeks, I have spent as much time with Kana and Touji as I could. Needless to say, Akito wasn't very fond of the idea. Of course, Ayame followed. He hasn't given up on fixing the bond between him and Yuki.

Ayame sat up, rubbing his jaw where Yuki had punched him. "Yuki!!" He whined. "You're so mean to me! After all, I'm just trying to strengthen our bond as brothers."

"Ayame, quit whining and act your age." I said as Tohru rushed to help the snake to his feet, Touji was right behind Tohru. He followed her nearly everywhere, much like Kisa still does, not that Tohru minds. Beside me, I heard Kana laugh.

"Thank you, Tohru." Ayame said to the onigiri with a quick wink. "I don't know if--"

"A snake." A monotonous voice suddenly spoke up. Two girls walked up to Tohru, one had long blonde hair and the other was dressed in black. Tohru's friends. "There's a snake over there." the one in black said, pointing just behind Ayame. For a moment it looked like she was pointing at him. Ayame froze.

Yuki walked over to where the denpa girl was pointing and knelt down. "I think its just a regular garden snake. What do you think, Nii-san?"

With that, Ayame relaxed visibly and walked over to where his brother was. "You know, Yuki, I do believe you're right." He said with a relieved laugh.

"Saki does that almost everytime she's here." Shigure whispered to me. "I think its purely coincidental."

"Sorry for just dropping in like this." said the blonde girl. "We just want to kidnap Tohru for a bit." Upon hearing this, Touji grabbed Tohru's arm and gave her a sad puppy dog look.

Tohru knelt down and wrapped Touji up in a big hug. "You are just soo cute! I love you!" she squealed. Touji just grinned and hugged Tohru.

Kana laughed. "I think he's likes Tohru. I really don't think she minds it how he's following her like a shadow."

"No." I said, grabbing Kana's hand. "I seriously doubt she minds."

"You should have seen how she was with Kisa." Kyo said. He came up so quietly behind us I wasn't sure how long he was there. "I mean it got to a point to where Tohru apologized for using the bathroom."

"Yes, well, that's our little Tohru." Shigure said.

Kana glanced at her watch. "We'd better get going, Hatori, or we're going to be late."

"Oh you're leaving now?" Tohru asked, bringing Touji over to us. I grabbed him and stood up.

"Yep," Said Kana. "We're going out."

"No wanna go!" Touji wailed, squirming to get out of my arms. "No wanna go!!"

"Umm, Hatori? Kana?" Tohru spoke up. "If you want, I could watch Touji. I don't have work tonight, so that wouldn't be a problem. Anyways, this can give you two a chance to be alone together and not have to worry about Touji."

"Wanna stay wif Tohru!" Touji squealed as he bounced up and down in my arms.

Kana and I looked at each other. "I don't see any reason why not." Kana said.

I nodded and handed Touji to Tohru. "If you need us for anything, I'm fairly certain Shigure will know how to contact us. If not, try Ayame."

"You really think my brother knows anything that's useful?" Yuki asked. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Shigure trying to hide a laugh.

"Yuki! How rude!" Ayame whined.

A short time later, Kana and I had left.

"Are you sure its ok to leave Touji there?" Kana asked. "I don't mean to sound like I don't trust Tohru, but..."

"Don't worry, Kana." I said, reaching over to grab her hand. "Everything will be fine."
