Kyo could never forget those words that tohru said that fateful day she found out about his disgusting true form. The form of the cat. The cat that was left out, the cat that desperately wants to be accepted. He had never been accepted until she came along into his life. She was his sunshine, his light in is dark world and she accepted him for what he is. Kyo had to cover his eyes as the sunshine warmed up his room creeping up from under the curtains. He could smell breakfast cooking, imagining tohru there, making us breakfast, putting her heart and soul into every dish.

Tohru

Even though she was scared of him that day, she didn't lie saying she wasn't scared, but she told the truth, made him see that he could be accepted, he could be loved and that is why he loved her, because she is tohru. He kept on this thought as he got up and decided that to face the day, he has to face it head on. He walked down the stairs to see shigure reading his usual paper and yuki, flipping channels muttering to him self saying nothing is on. He walked into the kitchen to find tohru there, but of course tohru is always there. He leaned against the doorframe and watched tohru work her magic around the kitchen, putting her warmth and creativity into the dishes she loves. She kept staring at her, while oblivious to the fact that tohru turned around to find kyo staring at her

`Kyo are you okay' Tohru said, bring kyo out of his state of awe `yeah I'm fine' Kyo said trying to hide that he was admiring her. He walked to the fridge and got the milk out. He took a large gulp all the while still watching tohru. Tohru still wondering if he was ok asked `would you like to help me with breakfast' giving him her warmest smile, that kyo couldn't say no. He walked next to her and chopped up onion for the beef stew brewing on the stove. He sighed in contempt, happy with the fact that he was here with his tohru until she brought him out of his thoughts once again as she said ` kyo since it is such a nice day and the sky has cleared from yesterday would you like to go shopping with me' Kyo turned to her as a tiny shade of red graced his cheeks. He turned away, trying to hide his blush `yeah sure its not like I have anything else to do' `that's great we will go after dinner' tohru said as she went back preparing dinner, with a larger smile on her face. Kyo's heart pumped faster, he gets to spend the morning with tohro what could be better.

Kyo and Tohru walked side by side as they came back from the supermarket. Waling down the path kyo glanced at tohru to see her happy face beaming with tohru happiness which made kyo give a small smile

`Kyo look at that' Tohru said pointing to a large ground gathered around what looked like a giant ice skating ring `can we go see whats going on' `yeah sure' kyo aid as he and tohru made their way to the ring. On the ring there was a dancer. He danced with such grace and grace and style. `Wow he is amazing' said tohru as she watched the man perform sparkles in her eyes. Kyo looked at Tohru and a little hint of jealously seeping through his veins `he isn't so great' kyo huffed. `Tohru we should get back, its nearly lunch and I'm starving' kyo winced at his words he never meant to sound like that `Kyo, I am so sorry I wasn't thinking, yes lets get home so I can make lunch'Tohru picked up her bags and started walking away as kyo followed her. `Great Kyo, tohru was in a happy mood and you had to ruin it' Kyo said arguing with himself, following tohru down the street

The night was a sad lonely feeling for Kyo. Where he only had his thoughts to comfort him at night. He tossed and he turned but could shake the lonely feeling of the night wrapping itself around him. He had enough. He got out of bed and went to the window, which he open, letting the cool breeze refresh him. `A walk may clear my head' Kyo said as he walked down stairs to get his coat and shoes. He stepped out into the cool air quietly, so nobody spots him, especially the dumb dog.

He walked along the path that he and tohru took that day remembering the time they had together and then remember the ice skating ring. The look in tohru's eyes as she watched the dancing man ice skate , it was enough to melt his lonely heart. Then it hit him, he heard noises coming form the ice skating ring, it was music. Curious to who or what was there he went to ckeck it out. He saw a shadow there, dancing. He step behind a bush facing the ring to see who it was. But the person he would never expect to see, not in a million years

Yes it was tohru who was dancing on the ice. It looked like she had done it for years. She was dancing to the song chocolate by Kylie Minogue, making the skater they saw earlier look like a beginner

Kyo couldn't believe what he was seeing tohru was skating like a pro. Skating to the moves never missing a beat. It was almost like she was dancing on air. She almost looked….. sexy

Tohru did a back bend as her hands touched the ice, she flipped as the beat got quicker.

Tohru was skating backwards now as she kicked up her heels, as if she was dancing with an invisible partner

Tohru came to a complete stop in the middle of the ring, looking up at the stars. She heard a voice next to her that made her fall over

`I didn't know you could skate' Kyo said to the left of her. Tohru got up and skated over to kyo who looked on in awe. When tohru reached kyo she stood in front of him and stared at the ground `my mother and me took lessons together. I haven't skated in a long time, but seeing that guy do it today, it brought back memories' kyo understood those memories are still painful to tohru, just like his memories were painful to him. He didn't want to see his tohru to suffer, he wanted to see that smile on her face. And he knew jut how to do it

`Tohru , could you teach me sometime'

`really'

`Really' Kyo said as he grabbed tohru's hand while she got of the ice

`I would love that very much' tohru smiled up at kyo as she placed a soft butterfly kiss on his cheek. She grabbed her skates and coat and started down the path. Kyo's head was spinning. Tohru actually kissed him. He put his hand to his cheek, looking over the ice skating ring

`Learning might not be so bad' kyo said as he turned away, running to catch up with his love, His life, and his tohru
