Fruits Basket Fan Fiction ❯ Tohru's secret twin sister, who has a secret of her own ❯ Prologe ( Chapter 1 )

A/N: This started out as a dream I had I will post a few chapters that are based on a dream I had so if you think its too stupid just tell me because I won't have to try to make up chapters so that it fits with the story.

Disclaimer: I don't own Fruits Basket; I only own my dreams that are a bit scary some times and a basket of fruit so don't sue me.

Prologue

*15 years earlier*

"Okay girls are you ready to go to the year of the cat festival" asked an overjoyed Kyoko who had two year old twin daughters. She put them in the stroller and left the house.

*Sohma House*

"Well it's time to find out who will break the family curse" said Akito's father. " Hatori get ready you the girls might need to have their memories erased if the blindfold slips" "I will be ready" said a young Hatori. "Well let's get this festival on the road" Akito's dad said as he picked up the sleeping Kyou.

*7 Hours later*

"That's all the girls here and none of them are her I swear this was a waste of time" Akito's dad said as he sat down on the chair next to Kyou. That's when both Tohru and Serenity (A/N: Serenity I guess was my character in my dream she is Tohru's twin sister)

Came in blindfolded. Shigure stood up and made his way over to the little girls. They started to walk slowly over to Kyou. Hatori picked up Serenity and told her to hug the boy. Serenity placed her arms around the young boy, who closed his eyes knowing he was going to change over. When he didn't change he opened his eyes and looked at the blindfolded girl hugging him. After Hatori took the girl off of Kyou he took her to the back room that almost looked like a tattoo parlor and he placed her on the table. That's when the old man who was the sheep come in and put the girl to sleep. After he made sure she was asleep he went out to tell Kyoko that her daughter was chosen to break a family cruse when she gets older, but only if they would be able to know it is her. So Kyoko gave permission to the old mad to tattoo 3 marks on her daughter. The first one was a little Red Cat paw print and it was put on her left inner thigh. The second was the Japanese symbol for cat which was placed on her top let breast closest to the heart. And the last one was placed on her right shoulder blade and it said Kyou Sohma and the year in Japanese and it was placed on what looked like a cat scratch. After he was done he went out and told Kyoko that she had to put Serenity up for adoption because if she stayed in Japan she would most likely be killed when she grew up because of the curse. When Kyoko got home she called an adoption agency and told them that she had a little girl that she needed to put up for adoption. After about a month a family in the United States called and wanted to adopt her. But before they did they wanted Kyoko to dye her hair because every one in their family had brown hair and Serenity had orange hair like her mother. Kyou was outraged Serenity's hair was what made her different from her sister, but Kyoko did what they wanted her to for the sake of her daughter's life. So one month after the call they sent the money so that she could be sent to the United States. Kyoko kissed one of her daughters goodbye and let Tohru hug her and than she gave her now brown haired daughter to the adoption lady. That was the last time Kyoko saw her. That was the last time anyone ever saw her as Serenity Li Honda. (A/N: Serenity Li = Beautiful Moon)
