Fruits Basket Fan Fiction ❯ TOKYO GIRLS ❯ rage beat ( Chapter 6 )
Tokyo Girls
Love101: Sup ppls? Anyways, yeah, here's chapter 6. Lots of angry characters…tee. Anger is so much fun to write. Well, I'll keep this short…we have no ownership for Furuba characters, however, Shizuo, Crystal, Nanny, Jean, Drake, and psychotic airplane attendant Kiki, and maybe some other oc's are ours. No touchy unless we give the say so? Savvy?
Chapter 6 - Rage Beat (Kinya Kotani)
Shizuo paced their room. "We can form alliances with those who hate that girl and take her down!" She threw her fist in the air.
Crystal sighed. "You're so scrawny, Shi, that you couldn't even scare Kyo's bunny slippers."
"He's got bunny slippers?" Shizuo smiled evilly and rubbed her hands together. "Excellent!"
"And besides," Crystal continued, petting her bear's silvery white hair, "She just seems so perfect that I don't think anyone hates her!"
Shizuo nodded. She fell on her bed, grabbing Mario and hugging him close. "Hey, Crystal…I'm not that scrawny, am I? I mean, sure I like to hide behind people, but that doesn't mean that I'm scrawny, does it? It only means I'm a freaking scaredy cat."
Crystal smirked. "You're not a scaredy cat. If you were, then what would we have Kyo for?"
Shizuo nodded. "Good point." They sighed at the same time, which seemed fairly frequent for them.
Shizuo sat up, looked at Crystal, opened her mouth to say something, but a knock was heard at their door, and Nanny came in, holding two envelopes. She set the envelopes on the table.
"You two are lucky I grabbed the mail today," she said. "I don't mind you two having boyfriends…but having them write to you! That's just utterly stupid!"
Crystal gasped.
"No one saw them, right?" Shizuo asked.
Nanny shook her head. "No, luckily for you two. You're lucky I'm in a good mood, or else I'd have reported this to Hatori."
Crystal gasped again.
"No, no, no!" Shizuo cried.
"Yes, and, again, you two are lucky."
Crystal, this time, did not gasp. She looked at Jean. "We seem to be lucky a lot lately," she muttered.
Shizuo smiled, jumped off her bed, and hugged Nanny. "You're the best ever! I don't know what we'd do without you!"
"Knowing you two, you wouldn't be alive long enough to know." With that, Nanny left, shutting the door behind her.
Shizuo looked at the two envelopes on the table, and squealed. She threw Crystal's envelope to her, and Shizuo fell on her bed, clutching hers to her breast. "I thought I would never know what starting to fall in love felt like until that day in Korea when I met him…" She opened her letter and read it.
Crystal held her own letter in her hands. Yes, they seemed to be very lucky lately. If Hatori ever got a hold of these, he would have to be in the right state of mind to go tell Akito, and Shizuo and Crystal didn't like Akito visits very much.
She also opened her letter and read, right about the time when Shizuo was heard sighing heavily. "Yep, I'm definitely falling in love."
~~
A few days passed, and Shizuo and Crystal refused to go to Shigure's house whilst Tohru occupied it. So, they entertained themselves by writing letters to Mimiru. It was a new plan the two sisters had developed. They would write letters to Jean and Drake, send them to Mimiru, and Mimiru would give the letters to the two school teachers. When Jean and Drake wrote to the sisters, Mimiru would send the letters so there wouldn't be another incident like that one before.
School was to start again in two days, and Shizuo and Crystal were getting ready. Hatori offered to drive them to school on their first day back, and told them to walk with Hatsuharu and Momiji the following days after that. The two girls were ecstatic to see their cousins again, and were hoping to be able to talk to them before school started; Momiji and Haru were always too busy…doing what, nobody knows…well, at least Shizuo and Crystal didn't know.
It was the afternoon, and the two were bored as hell.
"I'm bored as hell!" Shizuo cried, lying on her bed, her head, hanging upside down off the bed, stared at Crystal who bobbed her head to invisible music.
"Me too!" Crystal said. "And I have this damn song in my head!"
"Which one?"
"'Sweet Sweet Samba'."
Shizuo gasped and jumped off her bed. "How can you possibly think that's a bad thing?" she demanded. "'Sweet Sweet Samba' is an awesome song!" She sat on her bed, grabbed Mario, and began making him dance along with the song as she sang it. "Kimi to Sweet Shock suki to itte//derishasu na tameiki//yume wa motto motto//tsumekonde hashagi sugicha ikenai?" She also began bobbing her head, but stopped, and glared at Crystal. "Now you've got is stuck in my head! You're such a bitch!"
Crystal smiled. "I know, I love me, too."
Shizuo growled, and was about to pounce on Crystal when their door was thrust open. They stared at the intruder, frightened looks on their faces.
Hatori stared at them, a stern look on his face. "Akito wants to see you two right away."
The two gulped, and reluctantly followed Hatori as he led them to Akito's rooms.
"Will you come in with us?" Shizuo asked as she walked alongside the dragon.
"He asked to see you two alone, but I will be right outside the door should something happen."
Crystal trailed behind.
They came to the door in which the two were going to enter to meet their head house after at least not talking to him for six months. Hatori opened the door, and they walked in.
"I'll be here," he said as Shizuo gave him a frightened look.
The door closed as they sat down on the floor, waiting for the head of the family to address them. They shared a slight glance at each other. Shizuo silently swore that, should Akito try anything, she would be there to defend her sister.
The head lazily walked towards them, studying them. He walked around them, loving the fact that he made them more uncomfortable by the minute. Shizuo clenched her fists, and Crystal tensed. He sauntered in front of them, and kneeled down. He smirked.
"It's nice you two back," he said.
Shizuo looked at him from under her eyebrows, and nodded slightly. Crystal chewed on her bottom lip and she also nodded slightly.
Akito stood up and walked over to his window seat. "How was your trip? Crystal, tell me, how well did you do?"
Crystal jumped. She looked up at him, and found him smirking at her from his window seat. She gulped and nodded. She was still slightly afraid of him, though she didn't act it when he wasn't around. She decided to tell him, in an offset sort of way, that she had become much stronger and she wouldn't take any shit from him. "I've passed first in weights class," she said proudly, her voice cracking a little.
Akito raised an eyebrow. "Really? Is that all?"
"I passed all my other classes as well; Shizuo and I, we passed ahead of everyone."
Akito nodded. He put his eyes on Shizuo, who still stared at the ground and clenched her fists. "And you, Shizuo, how did you enjoy Korea and Mimiru?"
The girl he addressed gulped and answered, still refusing to look up at him. "I had a good time with her," she answered curtly, not wanting to talk to him.
"How did you feel about your classes? Were they easier than here? Harder?"
"Easy."
Akito nodded. He looked out his window. "You two didn't come see me when you returned, and when I saw you at the New Year's feast, you ran out, and didn't return. May I ask why, Shizuo?" He looked back at her.
Shizuo clenched her teeth. She hated to be put on the spot. Crystal continued to stare at Akito, trying to flex her muscles so he could get a good look at how tough she was now.
"We…" Shizuo began. "We…"
"Yes?" He stood up and walked over to them slowly, Crystal flexing her muscles to the point she was shivering.
"We…we…we…"
"What?" Akito growled. "Spit it out! What was so important that you didn't show up for New Year's?" he shouted.
Shizuo jumped. `He doesn't kill,' she reminded herself. `He only loses his temper and hurts…never kills…"
"We went to see why Yuki and Kyo didn't show up," Crystal answered for Shizuo. Shizuo visibly and audibly sighed of relief. "We found that Tohru girl and we…" Crystal looked away from Akito as his piercing gaze made her stop.
"I asked Shizuo, not you," Akito hissed. He took a dangerous step towards Crystal, but Shizuo looked up at him.
"We went straight home after that!" Shizuo yelled at him.
Akito looked down at her now, his eyes flashing.
"You wanted to know what we did, that's we did," Shizuo continued at a lower tone. "We went to Uncle Shigure's house to see why Yuki and Kyo skipped out, and then we went home." She looked back down at the ground.
The head looked at Crystal. "Is that true?" Crystal nodded. He scoffed. "Then, why was it so hard to answer me?"
Crystal looked at Shizuo, and then up at him. "You make her nervous," she said.
Shizuo growled. "Shut up, Crystal."
"I make you nervous, Shizuo? I thought it would be Crystal would be nervous." He smirked at Crystal.
"I've become stronger, and…and I've conquered my fear."
"Of what?"
Crystal didn't know what to answer. If he knew she wasn't afraid of him anymore, what would he do to her? No, he couldn't do anything to her, she was stronger now, wasn't she? She could take him out if she really needed it, right? However, she could get in a lot of trouble if she so much as laid a finger on him without his permission.
Shizuo sighed. "Akito, I'm not nervous, I just haven't talked to you in awhile, and, you know how I get shy around those who I haven't talked to in a long time."
Akito looked at her and nodded. He looked at Crystal again. "Stand up, Crystal," he ordered.
The girl did as she was told, while her sister watched from the ground.
Akito pointed to the middle of the room, and Crystal walked there. Shizuo put her hands on the floor beside her, ready to jump at him if he did anything. Akito glared at her.
"You will stay put," he ordered, accenting every syllable. He didn't take his eyes off Shizuo until she laid her hands back in her lap. He then turned to Crystal, and smirked. Crystal began to shiver as she watched him walk to his bed. "Shizuo, turn around, Crystal, you too."
The two obeyed him, but it gave Shizuo the advantage of putting her hands on the floor, ready to pounce on him incase he tries something.
Akito walked up to the blonde, and stood so close, she felt his loosely worn kimono on her back. "Remember, Crystal?" he asked, holding his right hand forward, showing her he held his favorite weapon against her. She silently gasped as he lowered the whip. "Now, for not being at the feast, you will be punished…" he looked at Shizuo's turned back "…both of you."
Shizuo looked up at the wall. "That isn't fair! What about Kyo and Yuki! They didn't even show! Shigure told me -"
"They didn't even come halfway before turning back, I know, he told me the same thing. Shizuo, you will be quiet. Am I understood?"
Shizuo glared at the wall, but muttered a yes. She leaned forward, her palms on the floor, her shoulders arched up, prepared to attack at any given moment. Crystal saw this, but Akito didn't. He stepped back from Crystal, and let the black leather fall to the ground. At the soft thump, both girls jumped, Shizuo halfway off the ground. She turned her head slightly so she could see what he was going to do…
The last thing Crystal saw was a flash of reddish brown, and the last thing she heard was a shout, before everything went silent.
Shizuo had jumped up, sprinted to Akito, jumped at him, wrapping her arms around his waist, causing them both to fly into the wall.
Crystal turned around, and found Shizuo on Akito's lap, looking up at his unconscious face.
"Even sleeping he looks evil," Shizuo whispered.
Crystal shrieked. "Shi! What did you do?" She ran to the two beings on the floor. "Is he dead?"
"No, just unconscious." She sat back on her heels, and rubbed her palms together. "Serves him right, though."
"Shizuo, you shouldn't have done that!"
Shizuo turned angry eyes to her sister. "Why not? Did you just want me to sit there and watch as she hurt you again? I don't think so! I'm not Yuki!" She jumped up, and ran out of the room, Hatori running in.
He asked Crystal what happened, but didn't need her answer when he saw her, frozen to her spot in front of the unconscious Akito. He ran over to the unconscious boy, and carried him over to his bed, Crystal still standing in the same spot she had been when Shizuo yelled at her. Hatori walked to her, and he walked her home, where Shizuo was not to be found. He left Crystal in the care of Nanny while he went to look at Akito.
The only that Crystal thought was, `We are going to die when he wakes up.'
