Chapter Two - Sparring Fun!

Kuragari sighed as she paced around on the porch a bit. Her temper rising at the quiet of this house hold. She had never noticed how annoying the quiet could be until now. Finally after around five minutes of pacing she sat down, Indian style and huffed. Grabbing her ankles lightly she glanced around the forest surroundings, since she was on the porch she had a pretty good view.
“This place is beyond boring,” She mumbled in a low tone.
“Who are you?” A male voice asked confused.
“Hm?” Kuragari asked confused as well as she turned a bit to see Kyo Sohma standing an odd expression on his face. “I'm Kuragari Yu, who are you?” She asked and didn't bother standing.
“I shouldn't have to tell you my name! What are you doing sitting on this porch!“ Kyo yelled frustrated that a strange 'girl' was just lounging on the porch.
“Kyo-kun calm down.” Shigure answered with his normal calm, yet eery tone. “She is our newest house hold member! Kuragari Yu!” He said in a rather cheerful tone. “Isn't she quiet adorable?”
“You're really sick,” Kyo replied then sighed. “Sorry I didn't mean to blow up like that. I guess you could say that was a bad introduction.“ He said and held his hand up and sighed again.
“Yes, you'll have to forgive Kyo-kun. He is really to caught up with his temper.“ Shigure said and laughed a bit as he stood beside Kyo and looked at Kuragari. A dumb looking smile on his lips.
“Don't you have something to do?”
“Ah, yes. Sadly I do...good bye for now.” Shigure said and laughed as he left Kuragari and Kyo alone on the porch.
Kuragari stared at Kyo for a few moments. No words passing between the two as if they were studying one another.
“So, why are you here?” Kyo finally asked.
“My master sent me to stay here while he was away,” She answered in a low voice, turning her gaze down toward her hands that were still grasped around her ankles.
“You're master? Do you study martial arts?” Kyo asked rather curious now that something of his own passion could become part of the conversation.
“Yes, I am a black belt. Do you study martial arts?” Kuragari asked and turned a meek smile on her face as she watched Kyo walk closer and sit down near her. But not too close.
“Yea, I've study it since I was little. Who is your master?“ He asked curious as to how her master would know Shigure.
“Kazuma Sohma is his name.” She replied and turned her gaze away from Kyo just as a look of complete shock struck over his face.
Sh-she is training under my master? Shishou? He thought in a complete state of shock. “How long have you been training under your master?” Kyo asked. Now trying to under cover as much information as he could to try and piece this puzzle that had formed together.
“Well let me see,” She said and put her finger up to her chin thinking. “I'd guess around five months now. Why?”
“Just wondering,” Kyo said and then turned back to his thoughts. Five months...how come no one seemed to know he was training a new student. And she said she's a black belt so she would be a talk around the dojo.
“Um, excuse me.”
Kyo was disturbed from his thoughts as a slight tap brought him to and also scared him. Since he had forgotten that Kuragari was there, even though it as her his mind was on.
“Eh, yea?” He asked, trying to mask the fear she had just shot through him. Since he was afraid she would get to close and then he would end up having to worry about explaining the whole Zodiac Curse thing. Not to mention bringing Akito back into the picture.
“Do you know Kazuma?” Kuragari asked curiously and stared up at Kyo, her deep brown eyes shimmering a bit.
Kyo couldn't think of an answer to her question as he just stared at her. Her eyes were like pools. And the feeling he had was scaring him to the bone. Quickly turning away and lowered his gaze. His bangs covering his eyes with a darkness. “Yea, I know your master.”
“Oh really. That's great.” She said and smiled a bit toward Kyo. “What's the matter?” Kuragari asked confused as Kyo slowly inched away from her.
“Nothing,” He answered in a low voice. His eyes still darkened a bit by his bangs.
“Would you like to spar?”
Kyo's gaze shot up to meet Kuragari's. Did she just ask what I think she did? He thought and blinked a few times. “S-spar?” He asked confused and just stared. Since he couldn't think of any more words to say.
“Yea, I'm bored to death. Since you know martial arts then we can spar. I need a good workout anyway. Please?“ She begged and smiled as she tilted her head a bit and stared at him now that she was supported half of her weight on her knees and the other half on her hands.
“Eh, um. O-ok.” He barely got out and pointed toward the open part of the back yard. “We can spar there. It's free of anything that could get in our way.“ Kyo said a bit unsure of this but still he wanted to test her skills.
“Great,” She said and in one swift movement was on her feet and over to where he had pointed. Kuragari stretched a bit as she watched Kyo stand up and walk over, to where he was standing in front of her. “Don't hold back on me just because I'm a girl ok.” She said with a grin.
Kyo just nodded but smirked. I think this is going to be fun, He thought as he got into a fighting stance. The smirk on his face slowly turning to a playful grin.
