Chapter 3

 

Kyia looked up and saw that Shigure was standing in the doorway. “ What do you want Shigure??” Kyia asked. “Hatori's here asking to see you, Kyia. Shigure said to her. “Hmmm…” was the response he got. “Well anyways he wants to see you before the end of the hour, I suggest that you climb in through the window. Shigure replied. With and a pat on Anthony's head (Anthony looked like he would kill Shigure for that little joke) he was gone.

 

“I suppose you'd better get going then.” Anthony said looking at Kyia as he got up. “Yeah Hatori doesn't make house trips like this very often unless someone's sick or died.” Kyia said as a passing comment. They both walked up to the door and then went their separate ways.

 

She made her way back. Climbed up the tall oak tree standing near her door and jumped onto the roof just above her window. She then changed out of her pajamas that she had been in for most of the morning. She got into jeans a t-shirt that said “Keep wolves free” and a black sweatshirt over her t-shirt.

 

She finally made it downstairs where Shigure, Hatori, and Kyo sat in silence. “You had better sit down. Akito wants you to move into the main house.” Hatori said looking at her with his one good eye. “WHAT???” kyia yelled jumping up from the table.

She ran out of the living room with Hatori trying to call her back or to just get her to stop so she didn't break her neck. (A/n remember she is an athlete) She decided to go outside and sit underneath her favorite tree.

 

Kyo tried to run after her but Shigure stopped him. “Leave her alone for a little while she calm down after a while, Kyo.” He said. Turning to Hatori he said,” Although you expected this didn't you?” Hatori nodded. “Remember when she had to go visit Akito the first time? She was whimpering like a puppy, although she was still a little kid.” Shigure said. Hatori just nodded with a small smile.

 

Kyia was sitting under her tree thinking about what Akito would want with her at the main house. Or a more better question why did he want her there. She didn't notice that Yuki had come to sit next to her. “So I guess it's true that you're going back to the main house?” Yuki asked. “Yeah Akito wants me to move into the main house but I' m getting the feeling that its so he can watch me.” Kyia said

.

The two sat under the oak for a few more minutes before Yuki muttered something about going to weed his garden. The two hadn't noticed that Tohru had been watching them from in the kitchen where she had been preparing tea. She went to the dinning room to find out what was going to happen to kyia if she went to the main house.

 

“What will happen to Kyia?” Tohru asked Hatori and Shigure. “She'll have a room just a few rooms away from Akito. I know I've seen the rooms Akito had set up for kyia. What I'm afraid whats going to happen is that Kyia may do something stupid and then draw into herself. We all know she hates being around lots of people… It'll depress her past the point of us recognizing her.” Hatori said to all 3 of them.

Kyia came in for dinner and ate in silence then she got up when she was finished and went to her room for the last night, she might ever possibly spend in it. She suddenly just burst into tears and started thinking about how many times she had just spent sitting or reading in it. “The wolf isn't supposed to show emotions.” She muttered.

The next morning Hatori showed up to get kyia and her things. As she was putting the cat carriers into the car Hatori put her things into the back of the car. They arrived at the main house in a matter of minutes. A maid was standing at the main door to show them where kyia would be.

Hatori left as soon as he was sure that kyia would be okay.

Akito had watched Hatori leave and then went to kyia's room. He went to her room and asked “ Are you busy Wolf?' “Yes I am Akito.” She replied. Suddenly he slapped her. “Remember you just found that freedom but I will get you back under the curse again.” He whispered threateningly.
