It was now a week from the phone call and the girls were now arriving in Egypt. Their plane was huge with four seats in the middle, and three on each side with an asile in between. Luckily for them people were willing to trade and they had all gotten to sit together. After a long, and I mean long flight, and about 20 drinks, 3 meals, 15 bags of snacks, 4 movies, and about 4 hours of sleep the plane started its descent. The girls were now tidying up and throwing their trash into a bag the stewardess held.

“Man, this was a long flight, but it was fun.” Alexis said yawning. It was night in Egypt and Alexis could tell she would have sleeping problems.

“Attention kids, please make sure you are all wearing your amulets as a sign of gratuity. And you are to be on your best behavior. We will be staying at a private hotel and there will be a buffet on the roof tonight, so I want you to be very polite, behave like how I taught you, try your best to speak the language, and stay with the group! Any questions uhh just ask me.”

“Ok guys, lets put them on.” Alexis sighed.

“Ok.” They were hesitant but put them on. Right as Alexis slipped hers over her head she saw her again. She was standing in the middle of and ancient hallway.

“Alexis… Alexis… Alexis!” Alexis snapped out and turned to Whitney who was shaking her. “Alexis, are you ok? Right as you put it on you went pale.”

“I saw her, clearly. She had dark drown hair with gold braided into it in some places and her eyes were outlined with a black and she had golden eyeshadow and she was wearing a white robe of higher class. She looked sad.”

“Alexis, you didn't see anything, We can't keep believing this stuff. Its in our heads.” Alex reasoned.

“I guess.”

“whatever, lets just land and get it over with.”

“Here we are room 185.” Alexis said unlocking it and pushing the door open to reveal the most fabulose room. It was the size of a small ball room. It was all lit by candels, millions of them. The walls were decorated white with gold etchings and had several gold clandle holders that held three candels each. On the far end of the room was a giant Window that went from the floor to the top of the 8 foot ceiling. It had no glass at all and was finished with a gold beam at the top that held the giant White and gold curtains that hung from it touching the floor and were held back by a golden tie. It went down about two steps about 7 or 8 feet from the door and was shaped in a circle. It had a giant golden rug resting on the white marble floor with Huge golden pillows and blankets around the small fire pit in the center. To the right of it was two king sized bed also done in an ivory white with Gold and accented with canopys. On each side were two small marble tables that matched the dressers and tables with golden handels.

“Is this room going to be ok for you girls?” Mr. Ransdell asked. All of them stood still.

“Yeah.” Alexis squeaked.

“Ok…” He laughed moving on. The girls finished carrying in their stuff before shutting and locking the door.

“Oh… My… God… This is so COOL!” Alexis said in awe going over to the window to look out over the city. “Wow, its beautiful.” *stomach growls* “I think I'm hungry.” Alexis laughed. Alex's stomach growled too.

“Yeah I think so too, come on lets go see what happening upstairs.” *knock knock* They all turned to the door. Slowly Alexis opened it.

“Yes?” She said looking at the boy infront of her.

“Tonight is a celebration of your arrival and the desk wishes you to wear these dresses.” He said handing them to her. She was still stunned by his beautiful sapphire blue eyes to even register it.

“Hello?” He said moving slightly.

“Oh, thank you.” She said bowing slightly and taking the garments. Slowly she closed the door. “He seemed familiar..” Alexis said.

“What was that about?”

“They want us to wear these to the dinner.” She said handing them their dress. The were Ivory with glod bands that ran down the top of the long sleves, had a golden belt tie and were bordered with golden etchings.

“Cool. Hey there are crown things too.” Alexis said holding up a golden band that had three ivory ribbons coming from the back.

“Awesome.” They said in unison.

After getting changed she noticed every one had different colors, and after asking a few times she found out they contrasted with their room colors. They all walked over to a pile of gold and white pillows and took a seat facing a fire pit with a tray of food before them, not a small tray at all. It could easily have fed 7 people, seven fat people.

“Holy Sh…” Alexis stopped noticng Mr. Ransdell sitting next to them. “Shitake mushrooms, my favorite!” She said recovering and saving her ass.

“Welcome to Egypt. In your two month stay here, you will not only enjoy luxuries but you will learn about its history, and how punishment works. I am sure your teacher explained to you how to act, now I will explain the punishments. If you are unkind to our staff or mistreating your hospitality, then you will be moved to a less suitable room. Stay with the group, there are men here who will snatch you in an instant for slavery, or take your belongings. And women too. You have each been given an amulet as a gift, always wear it no matter what. Now that seriousness is over, eat, enjoy. When you are done we have a dancer for each of you to teach you and for you to have fun with. ENJOY!” Everyone started talking and gobbling down food. It was very tasty and moist. Everything was wonderful. They were even given a mild form of honey wine. After everyone finished people cleared the pillows and trays and set out mats.

“Alright attention! You will each have a partner so I ask you to line up in a straight line here.” She said pointing and after awhile we were all in one. “Ok dancers!” She yelled and the dancers came out and lined up oppisite of the students. “Ok you guys your partner is across from you, they will teach you how to dance. Alexis gasped. It was the boy from earlier. Except in Egyptian clothes. “Start.” She yelled. Alexis stood watching as the boy approached her. His dark, waist length hair swaying slightly.

“Shall we?” He asked almost making her faint then and there.

“Sure.” Alexis answered taking his hand. “What is your name by the way?” She asked looking up into his eyes.

“My name does not matter.” He replied position her and himself to start.

“Yes it does, please tell me?” She asked as he led her.

“It is Inuyasha.”

“What a nice name. From Japan I suspect?” Her question caught him off guard. `Does she remember? No she must have looked up her name is all.' He thought sadly.

“Yes.” He said curtly.

“I am sorry if I offended you, my name is Alexis, but they gave me Sanura as an Egyptain name.”

“Of corse they did.” He said in animal tounge.

“What do you mean of corse they did?” He looked stunned. `Does she realize what she did?' The song ended and the teacher tapped Alexis on the shoulder.

“Everything alright dear you look lonely.”

“No I was just with Inu…” She turned to find him missing. “No, I am fine.” She said nodding.

“Good, so you enjoy Egypt?” She asked.

“Oh yes, I've always found it fascinating. I never liked the sacrificing of the cats though.” Alexis admitted.

“Yes, well you know they stopped that after awhile. It is belived a princess with an animal tounge talked to the gods and was told to stop it.”

“Really? I didn't know that. Well whoever she was I am grateful. If she hadn't many more cats would have been killed. I have a cat at home. I've always felt safe ever since I saw the movie The Mummy. (the scene where the mummy fades away cuz he is scared of the cat).” Alexis said laughing.

“Well I should get back to plan out your week here. We will probably stay here the first two days to help you guys unwind. I hope to see you later.” She said excusing herself.

“Definatly.” Alexis said smiling. Looking around she found her friends dancing with their partners and having a good time. Seeing Mr. Ransdell she walked up to him. “Ummm, Mr. Ransdell?”

“Yes Alexis?”

“Umm, I was wondering if I was allowed to look around the hotel for a little while?”

“Yeah sure. Go right ahead.” He said.

“Thank you Mr. Ransdell.” Alexis said turning and walking off down stairs. To tell the truth she was hopeing to find the young man named Inuyasha and maybe apologizing for anything she said wrong. Walking down about four flights of staris she was on the gournd level. It was pretty empty except for a few people at the door, she assumed were guards and a recptionist. Looking around she found a long hallway decorated in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. Of course she had no idea what they said, but she thought she would try to remember. She came across a long oval shaped one with a line on the end. She slowly traced it with her finger lightly.

“It's the symbol of a Pharoph.” A voice came from behind her. She gasped startled and spun around.

“Oh my god. Don't scare me like that!” She said placing her hand on her chest.

“Sorry.” Inuyasha said stepping closer. “What are you doing here?”

“Well, I was just wandering.”

“This is what we call the hall of history. The symbols don't make out anything, but we have some ancient facts. Here come with me.” He said turning and walking down the hall. Alexis obediently followed, though how or why she did not know. He stopped in front of some weird looking knifes and such. “Do you know what these are?”

“They look familiar… are they used on people?” She asked looking at them curiously.

“Yes, these were used for the mummifacation. That one was used to take out the brain. They shoved it up the persons nose, kinda scrambled it around then yanked it out.” Alexis shivered.

“Thank you. I knew what it was for once you said mummifacation and was gonna stop you, but decided that I should let you finish. Now I'm sorry I did.” Alexis said putting a hand on her nose. Inuyasha laughed.

“Yeah, well its always fun to grose women out.” He said. Alexis stiffened. That phrase, it was like he had said it before to her. But she knew he didn't. “You ok?” He asked then felt stupid for saying that. He didn't know it would click.

“Fine, so whats next?” Alexis asked uneasily.

“This way. You will LOVE this…” He said taking her wrist and smiling devilishly.

“uh oh.” Alexis said She ways praying it would be something not grose. It wasn't instead it was scary. They came across a cased mummy on display. “Of corse, you heard me say I saw The Mummy didn't you?” Alexis said backing away.

“What afraid it will JUMP out at you?” He asked grabbing her arms as he said jump. Alexis flinched and gasped.

“I told you not to scare me like that!” She yelled turning her back to the mummy. Suddenly a loud carck was heard behind them and Alexis screamed and jumped grabbing onto the nearest object, which happened to be a model of Anubus. She screamed louder and jolted back straight into a laughing Inuyasha. He held her upper arms lightly as she panted. “That was not funny!” She scolded and jerked away from Inuyasha's arms.

“Yes it was.” He said still laughing loudly. Looking back at Anubus she found herself getting scared again. She could swear she heard whispering of some strange language.

“I think I've had a little too much to drink, and a little less sleep.” Alexis said holding her head.

“Oh no cat gotta run, cat gotta run, cat run, Cat!” A little voice was heard below her. Looking down she saw a mouse run past. “Oh look a human, maybe food. AHH CAT!” The mouse ran off just as a cat came down the hall at a slow jog. “You can't outrun me, I'm coming for you!” The cat passed by.

“Did that cat just…” `talk?' She finished in her mind. “Yepp, I need to go to bed. Umm, which way is it again?” Alexis asked.

“Here, I will take you to your room.” He said and turned. `A good night's rest is what I need.' She thought following him.
