Prologue: What to do now?
“Sensei!” a young boy cried.
“Hai, Alphonse! It’s been awhile...” a tall woman with black hair, black eyes exclaimed, dusting her white dress off.
The young boy; wearing a long blue coat, with a cross between a compass rose and snake curled around it, symbol on it along with grey pants and a matching shirt; threw his arms around her. His grey eyes sparkled to a happy silver color as he held her.
“You and your brother sure don’t grow quickly do you?”the woman joked.
“I guess not, Sensei!” the boy said laughing, knowing if his brother Edward were here he would have flipped out about the comment.
“How is your training going, Alphonse? You are behaving right?” the woman said with an evil glare.
Alphonse froze for a moment and then nodded furiously.
“Yes, Sensei! Of course!!” he exclaimed.
“Good. What took you so long in visiting, it has been almost a year! You are about 14 now, ne?” the woman called Izumi, asked.
“Hai, Sensei!” Alphonse replied, “Onii-chan would be 19 now...Especially with what had happened....The whole thing with the Gate and the Stone...”
Al sighed and looked down at his hands and then he got this far away look.
~Flashback~
“General Mustang! Please tell me what happened to Edward!” Al demanded.
The flame alchemist stared down at his hands and sighed.
“The information I was given was that your brother somehow managed to get your body and soul back from the Gate, Al.” Roy whispered..
Al’s eyes narrowed, as he spoke “ After I had become a Philosophers stone...After I was sealed in the armor and after we tried to bring mother back...After the first time he risked himself for me...why Roy? How could he leave?”
Tears fell from the two men’s eyes, Roy tried to keep himself from causing Al more pain, knowing just recently what had happened and how old he really should be.
“Al...it was always Ed’s goal to get your body back...everyone knew that. He always talked about it Al, we just didn’t know how he would do it...but he did.” Roy said softly.
Al’s smokey grey eyes lit up like liquid silver, as he said “I will get him back Roy. I promise. He gave his all for me and I will do the same! Even if it kills me!”
“...OW!” Al cried and turned to look at who hit him and saw a tall blond woman with deep brown eyes.
“Al, you are an idiot...If FullMetal heard you say that he would kill you...”the woman said icily.
“Capt Hawkeye!” Al exclaimed with a little bow.
“Actually Al...she’s a Mustang now....well they are anyway...”Roy said nonchalantly.
“What?!” Al exclaimed, his eyes huge.
The woman blushed and put her hand over the small swell in her stomach.
“Riza you are beautiful...”Roy almost purred.
The woman’s blushed intensified, “General Mustang I could kill you...”
“I know...” Roy said, turning his back to Al.
“Well you guys did it! Wow! Congrats you two! Ed would be so happy!” Al gushed and all but flailed around.
Roy chuckled and Riza smacked him upside the head.
“Knock it off Elric!” Riza said with an angry sweatdrop.
“Gomen ne Capt. Mustang....Ano...General Mustang is it possible that I stay here with you and the Capt in Central for while?” Al asked a little nervous.
“Of course Al...” Roy answered.
~End~
“Al, you alright?” Izumi asked.
“Hai, Sensei...” Al said, nodding quickly, “Ano...Sensei...You have let me train with you again since Onii-san disappeared...I have decided to go to Central with General Mustang....”
From a row of trees about 100 feet away a pair of deep blue eyes watched the two.
