I gotta stop reading fanfics and getting ideas…anyhow, here's another fanfic. This time a FMA/HP crossover. Enjoy. *throws confetti lazily in the air*

Summary: This story takes place after the movie and focus on Ed and Al.

Ed and Al are searching for a way to get home without a huge Alchemy Array. As they travel, they both get letters from Hogwarts asking them to be students. They accept, since their search was going nowhere.

 

Ages: The main cast, Ed, Harry, Ron, Hermione, their classmates are all seventeen. Ginny, Luna, and al are sixteen. I know Ed is eighteen and Al is seventeen at the end of the movie, but I had to decrease their ages by one so they could be in school. I have no idea about the teachers ages, so to hell with the ages for them.

Chapter One- The Letter

Edward and Alphonse Elric was sitting in a diner/Inn, eating breakfast. If you had known them at least a couple of years ago, you would have seen a boy and a suit of armor. But now, you would see two boys who looked like twins. Both of them had golden hair, but one of them had brown-green eyes and the other had golden eyes like his hair. They wore the same clothes too, making them look even more like twins. But if you had asked if they were twins, they would have said no and the one with gold eyes would say he was the older one. If you replied something about being too short, prepare yourself. He will try and hurt you. Sorry, make that would. He doesn't care anymore.

As they ate, a messenger carrying an envelope came in the door, calling for a Mister Edward and Alphonse Elric. They stood up and got the letter, than walked up the stairs to the room they were sharing.

“Who is it from? We don't know anybody here and a letter can't get through the Gate…can they?” Al asked his older brother.

“Not that I know of…” they both stared at the envelope. The letters on it were gold and bore the name `Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry'

“…Big Brother, do you know where this `Hogwarts' place is?”

“Nope.”

They stared at the envelope for a few more seconds before Al opened it.

Dear Elric Brothers,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been chosen to attend Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Due to you being too old to attend the first years, you are going to be placed into the seventh year classes. If you accept, please leave this outside your door when you go to bed tonight. We will then send an escort to pick up the next day and get your school supplies.

School Clothing

Three sets of plain black work robes

One plain black pointed hat for day wear

One pair of protective gloves (Dragon hide or similar)

One winter cloak (black, sliver fastenings)

School Books

They both skipped this part and read the next

Other Equipment

1 wand each

1 cauldron (pewter, standard size 2) each

1 set glass or crystal phials each

1 telescope each

1 set brass scales each

 

You may also bring an owl, cat, or toad each.

 

We also want to inform you that as soon as you arrive at Hogwarts, you may use Alchemy again.

They looked at the letter for a second, and looked at each other.

“No way that there is school for magic. But this part about using Alchemy again, do you think it's true, Big Brother?”

“Maybe. We should leave this outside and see what happens.”
