Fullmetal Alchemist Fan Fiction ❯ An invitation you cant resist ❯ How about go to hell? ( Chapter 2 )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Here's chapter 2. Sorry it took so long. My computer crashed and I'm currently using the school ones. Anyway, here it is. Reviews are most welcome

“So you might as well pack your stuff while we're here” Mustang finished, waiting. Ed didn't disappoint.
“Why don't you go to hell? Are you INSANE?” Ed screamed.
“Fullmetal, my psychological habits are none of your concern” Edwards temper was actually starting to make him feel better. Ed glared at him.
“Why don't you go fuck someone else? I won't be your boy toy!” Ed yelled. Interesting wording, Mustang thought, though admittedly it didn't sound bad to him.
“Edward we don't have time for this, our train leaves in three hours”
“And I won't be there!” Ed told him.
“I can guarantee you will be. Are you sure you won't willingly agree to come?”
“Never with you” had Mustang sighed, a little hurt. Though he had known this was going to be the blonde teen's response.
“Fine” he said and pulled a small set of papers from his uniform jacket and handed them to Ed who took them warily. Mustang stood up and walked over to the bathroom and closed the door behind him. Ed didn't spare him a glance, his eyes getting angrier and angrier. The Fuhrer had signed papers stating that if FullMetal Alchemist Major Edward Elric didn't willingly go along with the plan allocated for helping with the militaries latest threat it would be considered an act of treason and that whilst on the mission he was to obey all orders from his commanding officer Flame Alchemist Colonel Roy Mustang.
“Edward do you-” Mustang stopped as he came out to duck quickly to miss hitting Eds fist with his face. Roy quickly grabbed Ed's arms and spun him around, securing Eds back against his front. He leaned down and whispered in his ear.
“I could court martial you for that” Ed shivered slightly. Instinct made him lean his head back against the Colonel before he could think straight and not do it. A slight intake of breath told him Mustang had noticed. He was equally surprised when Mustang didn't pull back and yell at him. He had a sharp intake of breath himself when he felt Mustangs body tighten.
“Uh….”
“Sshhh” Mustang whispered, letting go of one of Ed's arms and slowly moved it to the bottom of Ed's shirt and lifted it, making sure to only barely touch Ed's stomach, which was quivering.
Ring, ring
Ed and Mustang jumped. They stared at the phone, not moving.
Ring, ring
As if he had only just realized what a phone was Ed walked over and picked it up.
“Hello?” his face lit up. “Al!”
Mustang went back into the bathroom.
“Are you coming back soon?” Edward asked.
“…soon. I need a little more time”
“Okay, but hurry up Al, I'm lonely”
“I know brother, but this is important”
“I know that Al!” Edward heard opening and shutting of cupboards n his bathroom.
“What the…? Can I call you back later Al?”
“Uh…okay”
“Thanks, bye” Ed hung up the phone and marched into the bathroom.
“What the HELL are you doing?” Ed yelled as he saw Roy on his knees putting stuff into a green back pack.
`What does it look like?” Mustang answered, not even looking up, putting things neatly into the bag.
“I'm not going!” Ed objected. Mustang stood up, obviously finished.
“Would you rather go to jail?” he enquired, raising an eyebrow. Ed said nothing and walked out. Roy sighed and waited a moment before going out with the bag.
Ed was throwing clothes into a suitcase. Mustang walked up and started taking them out. Ed kept throwing them in without saying a word, still brooding. Mustang gripped his arm before he could throw anymore in.
`Stop. Sit down” he said gently. Edward was too angry to argue and let Mustang seat him on the bed.
Ed just stared at Mustang as he began folding Ed's clothes neatly and placing them in the suitcase.
“Believe me Ed; I don't want to go either. The last thing I need is to be in close proximity with you for a month”
`You're not exactly easy to be around either!” Ed yelled. Mustang sighed.
“All I'm saying is that I was forced into this as well. You might as well get used to it because we are going. And we're going to get these men and put them where they belong. Is this everything?”
“Yeah” Ed muttered. Mustang closed the suitcase and threw it at Ed, who roughly caught it.
`Good. Let's go”

Ed sighed and looked out the window. Fields of yellow grass was all that he could see. The only thing you even noticed moving was the fences and the trees. Otherwise there was nothing out there. He looked back at Roy again, who was sitting there reading a book. Why wouldn't he go to sleep? It would take them five days to get to the city near the men's base. Ed had a secret desire to watch Mustang sleep. Just then Mustang looked up and their eyes locked. They were still, staring for a few minutes before Mustang smirked slightly and went back to his book. Ed glared at him.

One hour later…

Mustang looked up from his book to see Edward curled up on the seat opposite him, fast asleep. He put the book down and gazed at the sleeping child. He looked so peaceful. Roy was absolutely sure that he preferred this side of Edward. He had an uncontrollable urge to touch his face but didn't for fear of waking him up.
Sighing he rubbed his temples and stretched out on his seat, closed his eyes and tried to use the slight movement of the train to get him to sleep.

I hope this chapter is worth reading. Please review if you read it! I was really kind of sad because 87 people looked at this story and only one person reviewed. Come on people, review. Even flames are welcome, as long are you're sensible about them. I would really like to know if this story is actually good. And I've begun watching the Fullmetal Alchemist series so hopefully later chapters will be more in sync with everything. R and R please!

To my reviewer:
