Ed yawned and stretched before opening his eyes. He looked over to the opposite seat to find Roy gone. Rubbing his eyes a little he headed for the toilet.

He saw a familiar figure on the ramp between the carts. Ed smiled and went through the small passageway and through the next door leading directly outside.

“Hey Mustang do you-” Ed didn't get to finish that sentence as Roy grabbed him and pulled him into the small dark room that separated the ramp and the carts room.

Mustang had Ed pushed up against a wall, his hand over Ed's mouth.

“Be more discreet about names FullMetal, there may be people around that will give us away, sometimes even when they don't mean to!” Roy said, taking his hand away.

“You think I'm gonna call you Roy? You're out of your mind!” Ed snapped back.

“Edward” Roy sighed. “Could you just be sensible for once?”

“Sensible? You-”

“Sssshhh” Roy whispered, pressing his body against Eds, shielding them in the darkness as someone opened the door and walked through. They didn't even glance at the two males as they disappeared. Roy looked at Ed and he didn't seem to have any intention of moving away. Their eyes locked. They could each feel what the close contact was doing to their bodies.

“Well well FullMetal, this is a surprise” Roy said, sounding far too smug for Edwards liking.

“Go to hell” Ed snarled, trying to break away but Mustang held him fast.

“I'm not done yet”

“Well I am!” Roy lifted a hand and stroked Ed's check. Ed looked at it as if it were a snake about to bite him. Roy smirked and moved his hand to Ed's nape and moved his head closer to the boys.

“Don't sound so mad Edward. You want this as badly as I do. Can I kiss you?” Ed's eyes locked with Mustangs. There was silence for a few moments and when Ed answered Mustang could hardly hear him, or believe it.

“…um, yes” Roy smiled and leaned down. Ed gulped as the distance between their lips closed. At the first touch of Roy's lips on his he knew there was no way he would ever forget it. The cart door burst open.

“Colonel Mustang sir!” Armstrong's voice filled the air. Roy quickly moved away from Ed and his eyebrows creased. Armstrong? He glanced at Ed. Ed was staring at Armstrong as if he couldn't believe it. Truth be told neither could he. Perfect timing.

“Armstrong what are you doing here?” Mustang asked.

“I've been sent by the Lieutenant Colonel to protect you on your way to Ilas!” Mustang stared at him. He was going to kill Maes.

“No” Roy said sharply.

“No?”

“Go back to Central. Tell Maes to stop being an idiot. You'll only blow our cover” Mustang replied and walked out.

“Major Elric, how are you?” Armstrong asked.

“I've been better” he muttered and walked out also. Armstrong just stared. Was something the matter?

 

When Ed got back to their seats Mustang was reading. He didn't even look up as Ed sat down. Ed couldn't get up the courage to ask him what had happened and even if he could, what would he say? With a sigh he leaned back against the chair and looked out the window, missing the small glance that came his way.

 

“Al” Ed mumbled in his sleep. Mustang didn't stir from his sleep, lying across from Ed's seat. Ed stood up, dreaming.

“Al, its really hot, let me snuggle up against you, you always seem to stay cold” he said and moved to where Mustang was stretched out. In his head Ed heard Al say fine.

Ed crawled down next to Mustang, who by instinct moved over a little to accommodate the extra body. Both males were still fast asleep. Ed clung to Roy and buried his head in Roy's chest.

“You're a lot warmer and softer than usual Al” Ed said softly before slipping into a deeper sleep where dreams no longer existed. Mustang sighed and turned towards Ed and wrapped an around the blonde teen, unaware that his dream was real.

 

Sorry about the cliffhanger. I just love peoples reactions when I do this to them…wish I could see your face. Lol. The next chapter will be posted A.S.A.P I give you my word. The most you'll wait is until tomorrow. Hope you enjoy, review please!
