Edward skid to a sudden halt. Panting and covered with sweat he dropped to the floor on his right knee. His body shook from rage or exhaustion, Ed couldn't determine which; all he knew was that he couldn't give up. This man . . . no thing that stood over him had the one thing that meant anything to him: his younger brother Allophones.
"Is that all you've got, full metal pip-squeak?"
Envy's voice taunted him. Ed glared up at the taller man from the ground as his vision blurred again. A strong wave of nausea and dizziness caused his gaze to falter and Envy to burst into a fit of laughter.
