"Its hard to believe that he got a hit on Hawkeye. She must be getting soft..." Havoc shrugged. Word had spread fast.

Roy and Havoc went back the next day, under Roys urgings.

Havoc leaned against the empty cell beside "Harrys". "So your the killer, huh? You didn't really think you could get away with this, did you?" Yestorday they hadn't gotten any answers, today they hoped that would change.

"Right when things were getting good too, you all messed it up..." He put his hands in the air and smiled. "It was getting so fun and..." He shivered. "God, didn't Riza look so damn good?" He licked his fingers. "So hot, even in uniform-" He was cut off, literally, as Roys hands shot through the bars and jerked Harry up against them roughly. His head banged against them roughly. "Don't you ever, ever, speak that way about her again, you worthless bastard." Roy gritted out.

Havoc rushed forward and pulled Roy back and it was obvious they weren't going to get any answers. "Come on, lets leave. He only wants to piss you off."

When they were in the car Havoc smiled. "You got a little defensive there, dont you think?" Anyone would have gotten defensive, sure, but the way Roy had done it...

"He was insulting an officer."

Havoc flicked the butt of his smoke out the window. "By saying Hawkeye looked good?"

"NO. Because HE said it." Havoc rubbed his chin, was that all there really was to it though? "I suppose your right, Mustang. If anyone who looked like him were to compliment any woman that would be an insult alright."

"That was interesting though." Roy had to agree with that.

"But what now? We all have free time now."

"Guys! Stop it...your going to hurt yourselves!" Winry yelled from the balcony of the house. "Winry, you know you cant stop them...and besides, you dont have automail to fix this time around." Auntie Pinako shook her head. "They are going to end up hurting thereselves though but they keep saying they just want to keep in shape and keep there fighting skills up." She sighed and left Winry to fuss over them but not before she heard Winry groan and mutter something under her breath.

"Come on Al, I think your losing your touch!" Ed rolled away and back flipped to get back up before Al slammed himself down on him.

They did this almost every day and it wasn't just to keep in touch with there fighting skills but because they wanted to, they liked fighting each other like this.

"I said stop! Look at the ground around you guys! Your tearing it all apart!" They both ducked out of the way as two small wrenchs flew past there heads, missing them both by inchs. They felt like whimpering when they saw Winry, she was terrifing sometimes when she was like this and true to her word, the ground around them WAS messed up...They had been fighting in the field in front of the house but still in clear few. The field was a tall hill, all green but now junks of it were missing, wholes were in some of the places and a lot of that freen was missing.

"Sorry, Winry. You know how we get." Al shrugged innocently. "We can fix it with Alchemy. Dont worry and you dont have to worry about fixing us, we dont have automail anymore..."

"No. No Alchemy. You guys are going to fix the field up like anyone else would. You can go to town and buy the stuff you need, they have patchs of fake grass you can get." She grinned widely. "Maybe next time you guys will think twice about being so rough."

Al and Ed looked at each other, yes, Winry was the same as ever. Winry turned to leave and Ed muttered something under his breath. "What was that, Edward?"

Winry smiled smugly but when she turned to head back towards the house, a rock wall shot out of the ground and she screamed as she fell backwards.

"Hah!" Ed started laughing, his hands on his hips. Al stepped back, it was clear Ed had done it on purpose, just to prove to Winry that she wasn't so high and mighty...

"Ah Ed...maybe you shouldn't have done that..." Al stepped back again, AWAY from Ed as Winry slowly got up and turned around. He could see from the glint in her eye that Ed was in for it.

"You used Alchemy against me...ME? Edward!" Ed turned and ran as Winry started towards him. Al shook his head patheticly. "He never learns."

"Winry! I'm sorry! Come on, it was just a joke!" Ed jumped behind a tree as a branch came flying at his head.

"Sure your sorry! Your sorry now because you know I'm going to hurt you!" She wasn't really going to hurt him, but she was sure he wouldn't use Alchemy against her, unless she asked and besides, this was kind of normal for them.

"I won't do it again!" Ed grabbed the lowest branch and pulled himself up and climbed half way up, Winry started to follow him. "You better believe you won't!" Winry didn't have any trouble climbing trees either. When her, Ed and Al had been little they had done a lot of things together, climbing trees was one of them.

Ed laughed. "Come on, Winry! You know me, you know I won't! And besides, me and Al are going to Central in a couple of days to see old friends and if you kill me like you keep saying your going to do, then I wont be able to ask you out!"

Winry was one branch under him when he said it. His last words caused her to pause and she slipped. Ed leaned down slightly when she did and caught her left hand, she grabbed onto his arm with both hands but he didn't pull her up just yet, he just left her dangling there, with a smile on his face.

"Edward! Pull me up this instant!" Ed pulled her up slowly, it was very clear that it wasn't fast enough for her. "Ed! You idiot! I could have fallen." She knocked him in the side of the head. "Thats for causing me to fall." Though it was her fought for not watching where she was going. She knocked him in the side of the head again. "Thats for joking around about the other part, for even saying it."

"Ow." Ed rubbed the spot behind his left ear. "Winry, please, stop beating me...I wasn't joking. I meant it..." He looked uncomfortable for a moment, how was he supposed to say it? Had he asked to soon or to late? Had he even said it right?

"You weren't?" Winry stuttered over the words, surely he wasn't saying what she thought he was..."Ed, do you really mean that?"

Ed leaned back and placed his elbows on his knees. He smiled. "So Winry...do you want to go out with me?"

"I guess..." Ed frowned. "You guess? You guess?"

"Yes Ed." She smiled. "I'll go out with you."

"They should be back, hopefully, soon." Al leaned against the railing of the balcony as Auntie Pinako strode over to him. "You think she said yes?"

"I don't think, I know." Al smiled. "They both like each other, they have for some time but I guess they were to young to realize it...or naive...dumb...to caught up in fighting over the littlest of things."

"Are you and Edward still going to Central?"

"Yes. When we were in Crimson City we only the Colonel...er..Brigadiar General..er...he still likes to be called Mustang or either ...or Roy, its confusing. Anyways, we only saw them for a little bit and Ed wants to catch up on old times and we want to see how the Crimson City case is going." Just as Al finished his sentence, he and Pinako saw Ed and Winry coming up over the hill, hand in hand. "I take it she said yes." Pinako smiled.

"Why isn't Winry coming with us?" Al nudged Ed as they walked down the isle of the train that was headed to Central. "She had work to do or she would have came." Al smiled. "I was wondering when you two would get together...its about time." Ed shrugged and then grinned evily. "Your time will come."

"Naaa...at least not right now. Ed...why are we going to Central? Really."

Ed looked at Al innocently, whenever Al saw that look he knew something was up. "Just to see how everyone is doing and to here about the case they were working on." Before he wouldn't have bothered.

"This doesn't have anything to do with Mustang...does it?"

"Well...I have a way to get back at him for calling me small again..." That smile was back with a wicked look. "We wont be destroying anything so know one has to worry about that part this time."

Al shook his head and sighed. "I should have known. I'm almost afraid to ask, but just what are you planning to do?"

"Beating him at a game. Basketball." Al was quiet, staring at Ed as if he had gone mad. He never let it go when someone called him small, but that was Ed.
