"It's that necklace. How could you make her powers be determined by a necklace!?" a man with black eyes and hair yelled.
"As long as she gives it to someone she trust and loves it will be protected, but if it falls into the wrong hands, she can be an evil weapon. If the person she gives it to falls in love with her, she will change into a most protective power," a plump, purpled eyed man said. "She is one of a kind. If someone she cares about gets into troble she will change into a killing machine, but if she falls in love and gives the necklace to someone who also loves her or ends up falling in love with her, she can use her powers to protect, not to destroy. She can't control her powers herself. Her emotions and the necklace does."
He smiled and moved the girls hair behind her ear. She layed listening and not moving on a metal table with just a white sheet covering her naked body.
"How long did it take you to make her?"
"About four years. I had to make sure her body could withstand a good amount of damage. Of coarse she is deadly allegic to lead. That's the only thing that can kill her. I've made a braclet to take her powers away while she wears it if we need to run test later. It's in the next room. It inserts a small amount of lead in her system to prevent her from using her powers, but not enough to harm her. She's like my little girl. I'll teach her everything," the purple eyed man said.
"So, how did you make her?"
"I'm sorry. I can't tell you that. If I do, she may be in great danger later."
"No matter. You are no longer needed. With her I can easly take over this heel hole."
"No! She isn't a weapon for destruction! She is made to protect! If you try to force her to..."
With one quick movement the man's head was cut off with a sword by the black eyed man. He laughed and pulled the helpless girl up, and let the sheet fall off her. She stared at him then down at the man who had created her, dead on the floor. Somehow it made her feel upset and a small tear came from her left eye, yet she had no idea why.
"With him dead, I can use you to help me. With you as my secret weapon, this world will be mine."
Suddenly, the girl became angry and her eyes and necklace began to glow red. A transmution circle appeared on her forehead. She held up her left hand and watched her nails grow about ten inches. She slashed at the man who backed up but still got three slashes on his face. He ran out the room yelling and holding his face. Her nails went back to normal. Looking at the wall behind her, she waved her hand and the wall busted open leaving a huge hole in it's place. She got off the table and floated out to the woods that the hole lead to. As she was heading out of the forest, arrows and knives hit her bare flesh causeing her to let out a scream. She turned around slowly, and moved her arm sideways. Nothing came into view as she made the trees and bushes bend. They must have been traps. Returning her hand to her side and the trees to their normal position, she kept moving. More knives and arrows hit her. She pulled then out and burned them in her bare hands. Bleeding, she left the forest and floated to a meadow. After a few more yards she hit the ground covered in her own blood.

Lilly shot up from her bed wit glowing eyes. She busted a hole the size of her head in the opposite wall. Her eyes went to normal and sweat formed on her forehead. Quickly, she got out of bed and run out of her room. She ran down the hall to the other end and swung open a door. Ed and Al were sleeping as she ran and jumped in Ed's bed. He opened his eyes and notices Lilly silently crying. He sat up and she followed.
"Lilly, what's wrong?" Ed asked as she lunged at him and wrapped her arms around him.
"I had a bad dream. It was so real." She sobbed.
Ed pulled her closer.
"It's okay." She stoped crying and he pulled away. "Why don't you tell me about your dream?"
Lilly told him everything she could remember. Ed listened then got wide eyed.
Her dream explains how she ended up in that meadow. No wonder she is so scared.
"Lilly, maybe you should sleep here tonight. It will help you...."
Before he could get it all out she was already asleep beside him. He layed back down and was about to turn over when Lilly moved. She layed her head on his chest and her hand rested on his stomack. He blushed but got comfortable and wraped his right arm around her. He was happy that his bed was against a wall on the left which forced her to lay on his right where his real arm was. He smiled as she moved closer to his warm body. Slowly, he drifted off into a deep sleep.

Winry woke up and quickly got dressed.
Ed promised he and Al would spend the whole day with me in town. I'm pretty sure they are up. They always get up before me.
Winry walked out her room and queitly walked to Ed and Al's door. Just as she was about to walk in, Al came from behind her with breakfast for two.
"Goodmorning, Winry. Would you like me to bring you some breakfast, too?" Al said.
"No thanks, Al. And goodmorning, too. I was just about to go see you and Ed," Winy said smiling.
"Oh, Ed is still asleep..."
"Is that so?" She said with an evil smile. "I think he needs a wake up call."
"No, Winry, he isn't...." Winry opened the door, ready to yell at Ed to wake him. She stoped and her smile faded as she noticed he wasn't alone. Lilly was sleeping with him. "alone. Lilly must have had a bad dream last night and she came in here. She usually comes to me, but her and Ed have gotten so close lately."
"I see..."
Ed slowly opened his eyes and noticed Winry and Al standing at the door way. Lilly moved a little and woke up, too. She smiled when she saw Al had breakfast and sat up. Ed blushed while the two stared at them. Lilly got out of bed and walked over to Al and Winry.
"Goodmoring!!!" she yelled. "I had a bad dream and Ed let me stay here."
"Goodmoring to you, too, Lilly. I brought you some breakfast." Al said.
"Thank you! I am so hungry." She turned to face Ed who was still blushing. "May I eat with you Ed?"
"Ed you promised to take me to town today." Winry reminded him.
"I know. Let's eat then we can go."
Lilly and Ed ate while Lilly told Al all about her dream. Winry sat beside Ed and wanted to say something, but she couldn't think of anything to say. Afterwards, Lilly left and Ed got dressed. Winry was happy that she would finally get to spend time with Ed. She had missed Ed and Al so much since she hasn't seen them in months. Finally, Ed was ready to go.
"Can we go now?" Winry asked.
"Yeah, we just have to go get Lilly." Ed said.
"Lilly? She's coming, too?"
"Yeah, Al and I are her guardians. Plus she would love to go to town. She hates staying in this place." Ed said as they walked to Lilly's room. "Maybe she could learn a few things."
Winry looked down as Ed knocked on Lilly's door. Lilly walked out and was trying to put her ribbon on. She was having a lot of trouble with it so Ed made her turn around and her tied it for her. She thanked him then took Al's big metal hand and they started off.

"What's that Al?!" Lilly asked, getting excited.
"It's a fish."
"You mean like the ones in the pictures?"
"That's right, you have never seen one up close, have you?"
"It's pretty."
"Your suppost to eat them." Winry snaped.
"Winry, you shouldn'd be so cold about it. She is still trying to learn." Al said as Lilly stared at the fish.
"You mean that poor fish is going to die?" Lilly asked almost in tears.
"All thing have to die someday, Lilly." Ed pointed out as he walked up beside her. "It's part of life."
"So dieing is....good?"
"In a way. Only if it is your time to go."
"Oh." Lilly thought a moment. "Can I have him? I don't want him to die."
"Lilly, I don't think Mustang will allow it. Come on, I will get you something else." Ed said taking her hand.
Lilly walked beside Ed and looked up at him. She started to feel like she was having a hard time breathing. Suddenly, as she looked at their joined hands, she began to blush.
Why am I feeling this way? What does it mean? How come my face is warm?
Lilly let go of Ed's hand and walked over to Al. She hide behind him as Ed looked back at her. Al turned to face her and found her staring at the hand that Ed had held. Lilly looked up at Al and began to whispered to him.
"I think I am sick."
"Are you not feeling well?" Al asked looking consern.
"I don't know. I have this feeling when I am around Ed, like I want to be near him only I am scared to. My stomach feels like it has butterflies and it gets hard to breath. Am I sick, Al?"
"I think you have a crush on Ed, that's all." Al whispered.
"What does that mean? Am I in danger?"
"It means that you like Ed as more that a friend, like a boyfriend. Remember what I told you about Hawkeye and Mustang, how they like eachother but try to hide it? They want to be more than friends, remember?"
"Oh, so it's good?"
"Yes."
"Can we keep this a secret? I don't want anyone to know."
"Sure, it will be our secret." Al said and took her hand.
"Are you two alright?" Ed called back.
"Yes, Lilly just had a question." Al answered.
Lilly had a hard time trying to pretend that she didn't have a crush on Ed. She tryed to act like she did before, and tryed to stand around Ed, but she would always end up blushing if Ed touched her or complimented her. Lilly tryed to act like Winry who was running in each store buying anything that appealed to her, but she never found anything she liked. Ed had noticed that Lilly was acting different and asked if she was ok, but she only replyed with a small 'yes'. Lilly wanted to be near Ed but couldn't find the courage to grab his hand again like he had done before. She was hopeing that he would do it on his own.
When they got back home. Ed decided to ask Al about Lilly's strange behavior. All Al said was that she had found a new emotion and was trying to adjust to it.

Later that day, Ed tells Mustang Lilly's dream, and after Ed lefted, Mustang adds on to his file he had made of Lilly.
"I am getting so close to the truth." Mustang said aloud.
