Lilly waited for Ed to come into her room. She stared at the door and watched it like her life depended on it.
Why isn't he here yet? Everyday he comes in here at the same time. He's late. Not that I miss his mouth moving and thinking his is talking to me. I don't want him around anyways. He's annoying.
Ed walked down the hall towards Lilly room with some pink lillys in a vase. He spoted Celine walking towards him and placed the lillys on the floor at lillys door. He walked up to Celine who looked distracked. She looked up at him with a pondering face on.
"So what really happened in that alley yesterday?" Ed said with his arms crossed on his chest.
"I...I don't know what your talking about." Celine stated.
"I've heard that scream before, many times. I know that it was no rat you saw. Someone was pleasing you. Who was it?" Ed asked in a firm voice.
"None of your business!" Celine yelled while blushing.
"Put it this way, if you don't tell me I will tell Mustang that you disappeared in the middle of a battle. He might demote you." Ed threatened.
"You wouldn't!" Celine said in a shocked voice.
"Try me." Ed contiued his threats.
"Fine." Celine pulled Ed close to whisper in his ear. "Envy."
"WHAT!!!! I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!!" Ed yelled.
"Ed...shhhhhhh...." Celine said and covered his mouth. "You won't do anything because I don't want you to. I was part of what happened too."
"You wanted it didn't you!" Ed said in a shocked whisper.
Celine blushed. Ed pushed her away from him.
"Ed, don't tell anyone." Celine pleaded.
"I can't because if I do they might kick you out of here and forbide you to be a State Alchemist. Does anyone else know?"
"No. Just you." Celine said with her head low.
"Celine, Envy is evil! If you see him again there is no telling what he will do." Ed said.
"I know, but I have to see him again."
"Celine, you deserve better than him and if you get involved with him and someone finds out you could be charged with treason. That's means that they will kill you!"
"If I find a better guy than Envy, than I'll leave him......but you are already taken, Ed." She said and walked away.
Ed was shocked but regained his normal face. He grabed the flowers and walked in Lilly's room.
Where have you been!?! Your late!..........What are those?
"Lilly, I brought you some lillys so you wouldn't forget how much you love being outside." Ed said and placed themon a table across the room.
Those are mine? You got them for me? But why?
"Remember, Al and I found you in a bunch of lillys and that's how you got your name."
I don't remember, but I want to. Ed, tell me more.
As if Ed knew this, he talked about things they had been through. Lilly watched his lips move and read it like a book.
"I remember our first kiss..."
Kiss, we kissed? I want to know about that! Tell me all about it!
"It happened right before you died."
I died?
"I remember your kiss was the one thing that kept me going. It was your kiss that made me decide to bring you back. And when I did, I stayed be your side every moment."
That sounds so beautiful, Ed. Does that mean that we ended up together?
"I remember I finally got to say 'I love you.' You were so happy."

"When you said it to me before you died, I knew that i had to say it back. That's another reason I had to get you back."

Suddenly Lilly's body grabed her heart and Ed jumped up. Lilly's eyes closed and she through her head back.
Wait....I do remember....I remember you.....
Lilly's body flew back on the bed and she began to rise in mid air. Ed called for help since he was scared he couldn't get closer. Mustang, Hawkeye, Celine, Al, and Winry ran in. Celine put her hands over her mouth in shock. Mustang ran over to her to pull her back on the bed, but her sheild came up and knocked him back.
I remember me.....
"Lilly!!! Hang on!!! Please don't die!!!" Ed shouted and ran towards the sheild with his tears flying beind him.
Ed jumped at the sheild and closed his eyes as he passed throw and landed on the bed.
I remember us.....
Ed grabed Lilly's body and pulled her into a strong embrass. His tears hit her cheeks. She opened her eyes and peered at Ed.
"Edward, help me......"
"I'm here! Lilly, I'm here!!"
I remember you leaving......
"Don't let me go again...."
"Never..."
I remember my promise.....
Ed was shot out of the shield and Lilly landed on the bed. Her shield dissappeared and her body layed on the bed lifeless.
"LILLY!!!!"
Al ran to Lilly's side and Lilly shot up gasping for air. Her body shook wildly and Al pulled her to him. Ed walked over to her but her shield came up and pushed back. Lilly pushed Al away and looked over at Ed.
"I'm sorry, Edward. I told you I would no long be yours if you left, even though I still love you." Lilly said.
"Lilly, please don't do this. I just got you back." Ed cryed.
"A promise is a promise. You should leave." Lilly said holding herself.
Ed hesitated but left with his head low and his tears heavy. Lilly's shield went away and she pulled her leg close to her as she cryed. Al and the others looked at eachother.
"Please, leave. I want to be alone." Lilly said with a shaky voice.
Everyone silently left and Lilly's crys filled her room. Ed walked to his room and locked the door. He cryed silently, not making one sound.
A part of me knew that this would happen but I didn't want to accept it. I messed up and now I am paying the price. I lost the only thing that truly made me happy. How will I ever smile again?
