Ed watched Lilly closly and ignored Mustang's orders once everyone found out Lilly was pregnate. He was scared that if he took his eyes off her for even a moment, she might get hurt or hurt the baby. He wasn't willing to take any chances. Mustang tried to send him off on missions, but Ed only ignored him and told him to get someone else. Mustang yelled at Ed each time he decilined but Ed only told him that he was looking out for his family. That shut Mustang up since he had no family to care for. (Even though everyine keeps pushing him to settle down with Riza and make a few babies.) Ed never left Lilly's side, and Lilly didn't get to do much on her own and wasn't even able to lift heavy things nor walk around to much. Ed wouldn't let her do much that might calse Lilly to use up to much energy. Ed had helped her with everything and even helped her shower, which Lilly found to be stupid, but didn't say anything.
He's just excited and a little nervous since I am carrying his child. He doesn't want me to get hurt. I should welcome it, right?
Nights passed and each time Lilly crawled into bed Ed gave her enough space to move around if she was uncomfortable, but she really wanted his arms around her. To be honest, he hadn't really touched her all that much. (loving wise) He didn't even hold her hand. That time he embrassed her once they found out she was pregnate was the last time he truly held her close. She knew it was because he didn't want to ham her, but she longed for his touch and his kiss. She had tried many times to get him to hold her without really saying anything. She wanted him to figure it out himself.
Slowly, the days turned into weeks and weeks into long months. Lilly stayed inside during the winter. It was a horrible winter with snow storms at each corner. Al watched as Lilly became less happier with Ed's distance and longing to be outside once more. Her belly grew bigger and bigger, but her heart grew weaker and weaker. She was in her sixth month and miserable. Ed was to busy trying to 'help her' to even notice how she was feeling. Al watched Lilly closer untill he finally deided to do something about it.
Lilly sat in the waiting room that most people sat in when they were waiting to see Mustang, only Lilly was sitting there to get a better view of the melting snow. It would be spring soon which ment Lilly would have to watch the flowers bloom from her window. Ed wouldn't let her outside unless she had to go somewhere. He was so cautious about eveything. Al walked up behind Lilly. She had her back to him as she peered outside. Al looked around for Ed but found that this was one of the rare times he was doing something away from Lilly. Al cleared his voice and Lilly turned around with a wake smile.
"How are you?" Al asked not bothering to hid his consern.
"I snuck away from Ed for awhile. He's in our room talking to me while he it doing some paper work, or at least he thinks he is." Lilly's smile fadded. "I want to go outside, I want to be held. Why is it so difficult for him to understand that?" Lilly said almost in tears.
"Oh, no..." Al said watching Lilly's tears fall and her crys feeling the room. He ran to her and wraped his arms around her. He pulled her close to him and she accepted him like a comfort blanket. "There, there." He said patting her on the back. "Don't cry."
"It's just so hard..." She said in between sobs. "to controll my emotions...."
Al held her close to him as he heard Ed running down the stairs and screaming out Lilly's name as if he lost her to the devil. He ran up to Al and saw Lilly's gently clutching onto Al's Alchemist jacket and sobing. Ed looked at Al with evil and anger i his eyes.
"What did you do!?!" Ed snapped at Al in a hash tone.
"I didn't do anything, you did this." Al said as Lilly cryed harder.
"Me...." Ed said looking at the young girl crying while closing her eyes tightly. "I don't understand." Ed said shaking his head.
Winry came down stairs and ran to Al. Al handed Lilly to Winry and Winry held her closly and began to talk to her to calm her down. Al took Ed to the side. He did his best the explain what Lilly wanted and what Ed had not been to open minded to see. He glanced over at Winry and saw that she had Lilly sitting and wiping her tears. Al looked back at Ed who had gone pale and cold.
"She needs you to be her lover, not her body guard. Hold her and tell her you care. Make her feel like you want her to be happy, and for crying out load....TAKE THE GIRL OUTSIDE!!"
"I didn't know....I thought everything was going so well." Ed said looking over at Lilly who was now smiling through her wet eyes at Winry as Winry told her a joke. "I can make this better, can't I?"
"Yeah, all you have to do is make her feel loved and cared for without taking away the things she loves, exspecially her love of outside."
Ed nodded then walked over to Lilly. Winry joined Al and they watched as Ed and Lilly talked then Ed pulled Lilly close to him. They watched as Lilly drifted off to sleep in Ed's arms and he gently kissed her head and settled on the couch to fall asleep too.

"She pregnate you say?" Corden said conferming what Envy had just told him. Envy nodded. "I didn't know that was possible. This makes matters more interresting. I bet the baby will be just as strong as it's mother, if not then stronger. With the both of them, I can rule." Corden said as his evil eyes filled wih joy. "Let her have the baby in peace and then we will take it while they least expect it."
Envy stared at Corden then at Gluttony. Gluttony smiled and licked his lips. Before Corden could ask what they were up to, Envy stabed him in the chest with a hidden knife. Corden fell to the ground and Gluttony began his feast.
"Sorry, old man. But I can't have you getting in the way of my plans. The baby is the last thing on my mind. Let her have it, but once she has, her life belongs to me. I will kill Lilly even if I have to die trying. With Corden out of the way, I won't have to worry about someone else trying to keep Lilly as a pet. I can kill her and not have to worry about him sending someone after me."
The sound of cruching bones in Gluttony's teeth filled the room. Blood hit the ground as if it had somehow grown there. Envy smiled sacasticlly. He pulled out a napkin from his pocket and threw it at Gluttony.
"Wipe your month when your done." He said walking out.
Gluttony watched him leave and smiled through the skin and blood on his teeth.

Lilly sat on the ground and smiled at the sun that shined on her pale skin. Spring was here and Ed was letting her out. He stood beside her and smiled at her. She closed her eyes as the warmth hit her skin. Her hair blew in the wind with the pollen and flower petals. Ed helped her up and held her hand as they walked through the forest. Suddenly Lilly stoped and Ed looked back at her with a courious stare. Lilly had a look of shock on her face. Ed watched as she brought her empty hand up to her belly and look down at it. She snaped her head up with a smile and grabed both of Ed's hands. She placed them on her belly and waited. Ed watched her belly closly, then, out of the blue, the baby kicked. Ed's eyes rose to meet Lilly's She smiled and Ed kissed her forhead. He knew it wouldn't be long. Soon her would have his child in his arms and singing songs his mother use to sing Al when Ed was a little boy. He could still hear her voice in the wind. Lilly took his hand again and rested ther other on her belly as they bagan to walk once more.
"We need to think of names, Ed." Lilly said looking up at him.
Ed smiled to the frint then looked down at her.
"Alright, what do you have in mind?" Ed asked wanting to know what she would choose for a girl.
"Well, if it's a boy I would like to name him Neithaneil. But if it's a girl..." Lilly paused causeing Ed to be impatient. "I want you to choose."
Ed smiled at her and they turned around to head home.
"I was thinking of Rika." Ed said thinking of the little girl in his future.
"Rika...." Lilly whispered. "I like it. Rika Elrics. Lilly Elrics. Mrs. Elrics." Lilly chanted.
Ed laughed and kissed her on the head.
"We need to pick a wedding date." Ed said.
Lilly grew quite and then looked up at him.
"I want it to be on Celine's birthday." Lilly whispered. "But I don't know when that is."
Ed was shocked. He didn't expect her to be so exact with the date. But he didn't object.
"It's May the 21st. In the ending of spring." Ed said.
"That's the baby's birthday month. It will be born next month, I think." Lilly said. "I counted the months since our last...well last sexual intercoarse....and found it to be next month. The baby was created at the end of August so that means in May it will be born. Nine months is right, right?" Lilly asked.
"Yeah, nine month to carry a child." Ed said not relizing it was closer than he thought.
"I don't want to have the wedding while I am expecting the baby. And I don't wan to be this big while I am in my wedding dress." Lilly confessed.
Ed laughed.
"The we will plan it after the baby is here." Ed said as Lilly and him walked.
"Ok. We can do it after we have the baby, that sounds like a plan." Lilly said smiling.

The month passed quickly and Ed and the others began to prepare for the new baby. Winry had decided to take the month off of work to help with the baby. But what really had eveyone worried was were Lilly was going to have the baby and why she didn't want a doctor to be around.
"What do you mean you don't want a doctor!!! Your having a baby!!!" Ed yelled at Lilly as everyone watched.
"What it I suddenly use my powers or what if the baby has powers like mine and uses then while being born!?!" Lilly yelled in her defence. "I am sure that we can't explain that to a doctor!"
"We'll just say it was Alchemy!" Ed fired.
"Coming out of my....."
"Then what! You want to have the baby here?!?" Ed said cutting her off. Lilly got quiet. "No!! It's not safe! What if someting goes wrong? Who will deliever it?" Ed said grabbing her hands.
"Winry will and nothing will go wrong."
"Winry!?!" Ed yelled. He looked over at Winry then at Lilly.
Winry turned pale. Me? Why me?
"She's good with her hands." Lilly said looking over at Winry and smiled. "Plus, Riza is here too. She can help."
Riza turned as pale as Winry.
"They have no idea what to do!" Ed shot back.
"Well, that's how it is going to be! Winry and Riza will deliever my baby and we will do it here! I don't want to here anymore about it!" Lilly shouted then stomped to her room.
Ed fummed. We aren't even married yet and she is already acting like a wife!
Suddenly, Lilly screamed. Everyone ran up to find Lilly in the hallway holding her stomack. She looked up at Ed.
"My water broke."
