[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Years later, after Remilia's death, everyone continued on with their daily routines, following orders, and when ever they get the chance, they visit Remilia's grave. Her grave has been there for over ten years now. There is a flower or two everynow and then, or maybe a gift to honor her glory. Whatever it is, the person who puts it there feels stronger, like he or she could accomplish anything.
A young boy walked in, his long red cloak flowing gently behind him as he walked down the hall. Behind him was a giant suit of armor. They were state alchemists, and were young aswell.
The boy's name was Edward Elric, his long, blonde hair pulled in a braid behind him. His golden eyes stern. A few scratches here and there, and maybe a bruise on his arms, but it didn't bother him.
the other, Edward's younger brother, Alphonse Elric. He had lost his body along time ago, when their mother died. Ed and Altried forbidden alchemy, Human Transmutation. In the process of doing so, Ed lost his right arm and his leg, and Al, his body. In their place, a suit of armor for Al, and automail parts designed by Winry and Pinako Rockbell. It serves as a constant reminder of their past, and their failed attempt at a Human Transmutation.
Ed sighed as he walked down the hall. " Those stupid scientists and those damned Chimeras they released on us really pissed me off."
" Yea, it took awhile to defeat them all and arrest them, but we did it with only a few that escaped." Al replied, looking down at his big brother.
" Well, the military did come and capture those that did escape, so we didn't have to chase them down," Ed said. His eyes scanned a mural on the wall he really didn't notice at all sinse he joined the military. He stopped, and stared up at it. It was a huge mural of a fellow state alchemist, Remilia Scarlett.
Al stopped, too, checking it out. " did this just get put up?" He asked. He leaned in closer at it, and saw the face of Remilia. " She sure was pretty."
Ed nodded. " Yea, she is. It says here that she died a few years back, from a train crash." Ed squinted his eyes to read the dates that she died.
" Yes, her name was Remilia Scarlett," A familiar voice approached Ed and Al, walking straight towards them. " she was a state Alchemist, one of our best at that time."
Ed saw Roy coming towards them, he could tell Roy had a hint of sadness in his words as he spoke about her. Al saw it aswell.
" I guess you knew her well, telling by the pictures scattered around it. It has her, and you hanging out alot, like at a party," Al said, looking at the pictures of her and Roy together with the rest of the military.
Roy nodded. " We were really close friends, sinse about fifteen years old. We hung out with each other alot, practiced our alchemy, trained to be strong and all that." He then looked down at Ed. " So, do you have your report of that mission?" Roy asked, changing the subject of the questioned.
" Yea, I do," Ed said, fishing out a few pages of a report from his pocket. " And we arrested all of the scientists for creating Chimeras to kill the citizens."
" Good job," He said, taking the report, and going through it. " Ok, you may leave now," He said, turning his back to go back to his office. He then stopped, looking back. " Remilia's grave is out back, behind this building, if you wanna check it out." With that, he left them.
Al looked down on his brother, and asked him. " Brother, do you wanna check out that grave?"
Ed kept looking at the mural for alittle bit, then nodded. " Yea, lets go see her." Ed turned to face Al, and they then left the hallway to go outside in the back of Central's military building.
The grave was surrounded by white roses that sprout out from the grave, a tree hung over it, keeping it shaded. The grave looked brand new, like they clean it every day, and it gave off a shine through the branches and ;eaves of the tree. The grass was fresh green around it.
Ed stood over the grave, looking down upon it with sadness in eyes. " Why hadn't we noticed that mural before? Why doesn't anyone talk about her? We should've known by now, but they didn't mentione her, not at all."
" Maybe it hurts them to much to mention her name. I mean, that mural said she risked her life, and stayed on the train, even when she couldv'e jumped out with the rest of the saviors, but she didn't. she was a real hero." Al said, looking down on the grave also.
" No, you read it wrong, she didn't want to jump off, those bandits on the train held her down s she went with them, she couldn't get off at all," Ed said. He clenched his fists. " But you're right, she was a real hero,"
Al nodded, and looked to the sky. It was a orange color and the sun was going down. " We should get back to our room, it's getting late brother. And i think we need atleast some rest."
Ed lifted his head up, too, and nodded. " Yea, let's go, Al," With that, Ed and Al left the grave, and went back to their hotel room to rest for the night. They needed it after all, chasing scientists and getting beaten up by Chimeras.
On the window above, Roy looked down on Remilia's grave. He won't ever forget her, never. " If only those bandits hadn't held you down,"
Walking the streets at night, a long, black-haired women walked down the streets. She had a somewhat evil look in her eyes, and she carried a sythe in her hands. He smirked. " Looks like I'm back, I wonder if you missed me?" She said, not in a question but as a statement. A small laugh then escaped her lips as she continued to walk down the street towards Central's main building.
