Fullmetal Alchemist Fan Fiction ❯ The Angel Child ❯ Chapter 3- Screwed Up Date ( Chapter 3 )
[ P - Pre-Teen ]
Yuki had started to realize she barely knew Edward personally. She drew away.
“We don't know each other yet.” Yuki said. Edward nodded.
“Then let's get to know each other.” Edward suggested.
“What do you mean?” Yuki asked, raising and eyebrow.
“Tomorrow, out by the lake,” Edward said. “We can have a picnic.”
“Alright,” Yuki smiled. “It's a date.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was about nine that morning and Yuki was already dressed and packed for the picnic. Yuki wore a white country-like top. The bottom was tied off with two extra pieces of the shirt. It didn't reach all the way past her stomach, though. It stopped right at the top of her belly button. She wore light blue pants with zippers halfway up each. They were fore breezes and extra comfort on a hot day. She had her light blue bikini under her clothes because she planned on swimming. She was given the room across from Edwards, her sister's right next to hers. Right as she finished buttoning the last button on her white shirt, her sister, Ryuu swung into the room. Ryuu had on a long pink silk gown and orange fuzzy slippers.
“What are you doing up and dressed so early?” Ryuu asked.
“None of your business,” Yuki said. “I'm just going on a picnic.” Yuki walked past Ryuu, who pointed out she didn't zipper a pants leg.
“Thanks. But I don't think it'll matter. I won't be wearing them for a good portion of the time.” Yuki said, her black hair swaying whenever she took a step.
“What,” Ryuu cried. “Then what will you be wearing?!”
“My bathing suit, god,” Yuki snapped.
“Well alright then! No need to get all snotty about it.” Ryuu snapped back.
Yuki kept on walking until she reached the lake where she met up with Edward. She told Edward about what it was like back at her old house, and what her powers were like. She became her water one once, but never her fire. She didn't have much control over that one.
“That's amazing, your powers are.” Edward said.
“Yeah, they are. I haven't gotten the chance to tell my Uncle Scar about them though. He might think its alchemy and blow me up.” Yuki said. Edward stared at her, a blank expression on his face. “What?”
“Uncle Scar? Scar is your uncle?!” Edward said in both shock and despair. “I'm an alchemist; A state alchemist!”
“I know, but Uncle Scar doesn't.” Yuki winked.
“Yes he does!” Edward panicked. “He knows me! He knows Roy, Riza, everyone! He's going to kill you, me even if he ever finds out about us!”
“It's just like Romeo and Juliet! So romantic! How two people, forced not to love each other because their family thinks it would be wrong!” Yuki curled her hands together and put them to the side of her face. She wasn't thinking, until Edward's face became pale, and a shadow appeared over her.
“Hello Yuki.” Scar growled. “Who is this?” He pointed at Edward.
“Ah…..someone I know.” Yuki said.
“I see. Is he an alchemist?” Scar demanded.
