Fullmetal Alchemist Fan Fiction ❯ The Butterfly Alchemist ❯ The Eventful Meeting ( Chapter 5 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

Notes: Right now I'm going to tell all of you that I am having Ed be about 5' 2''/5' 3''. And that I'm changing some of the things that happen in the anime. Like for example, the ending of the show. Because I just don't like it and I have a better ending with Breeze in it. So I'm just giving you peoples the heads up okay?

Edward Elric looked around and sighed.

“Alphonse?”

“Yeah, Ed?”

“What platform does that paper say?”

“Um…platform 7.”

Ed looked at the sign.

“THIS IS PLATFORM ONE!!!!!!”

Armstrong looked at the short alchemist, “Calm down, Edward. We still have an hour.”

“Yeah, if you read the time right.”
The strange trio walked off the platform and down to the right one.

“So, Major, what do you know about this Stone Heart?”

Armstrong glanced at the elder Elric brother, “Not much. I know that he was forced to take an early retirement.”
“Why?”

“No one knows for sure, but the rumor is that he found out something about the Fuehrer and was given a promotion and big bonus for taking the retirement. “

If that is true then getting him to talk might be difficult.

Alphonse looked down the track, “Here comes the train.”

The three of them looked at the train coming towards them. The one that would bring the person that would change their lives forever.

“East Central Station!”

Breeze got up out of her seat. She waited as a family passed by.

She stepped off the train onto the platform and looked around. It was then that she realized that she didn't know what the Fullmetal looked like.

“Oh, man.”

She put her head into her hand.

She headed towards the luggage car and got her other bag.

Breeze saw a pay phone. Maybe I can use that to call Uncle and ask him.

“Miss Breeze Mustang?”

She looked around. A big guy with a single blond curl on his head was asking a teenage girl that had blue hair if she was Breeze.

“No, sorry. My name is Sam.”

“Sorry to bother you.”
Breeze looked at him a bit longer and that look caught the attention of someone in big armor.

He walked towards her.

“Excuse me, but are you Breeze Mustang.”

She looked at him. It's late summer. How can he wear that heavy armor when it's so hot out?

“Yes, that's my name. Who are you?”

“I'm Alphonse Elric.”

“Are you related to an Edward Elric?”

“Yeah, he's my older brother.

Older? But this guy's like six feet tall. “Come on I'll take you to him.”

“Okay,” She picked up her bag and followed Alphonse through the crowd. As the crowd thinned, she saw the familiar looking big guy and a smaller blond haired boy. One of them must be the Fullmetal Alchemist.

Ed looked up. Following Al was a girl. She looked tough in her army pants and red shirt. Her hair was like Roy's and she carried herself like she didn't give a rat's ass about what anyone thought about her.

No doubt about it, she's Breeze Mustang.

The shorter of the couple looked at her.

“Hi. I'm Edward Elric, and he's……”

Armstrong stepped forward, “Alex Louis Armstrong at your service.”

She cocked her head a bit. She was confused.

“Okay let me get this straight.” She pointed to Armstrong. “He's the Strong Arm Alchemist.” She pointed to Alphonse. “This is the younger Elric brother.” Lastly she pointed at Ed. “And Shorty here is the famous Fullmetal Alchemist.”

That pissed Ed off. Al had to grab his brother.

“What do you mean Shorty?!?!?”

Breeze smiled. “Exactly what it sounds like…Shorty.”

“You're the same height as me!!!”

Breeze thought about that for a moment. Then she went up, put her hand on her head, and ran her hand over Ed's head.

“Actually I think I'm an inch taller.”

“Why you…”

Al grabbed Ed.

“Brother, let's just get going…wait…no Brother!!”

Ed had gotten loose from Al, but instead of getting his fist into Breeze, he ran in to Armstrong.

“It wouldn't be too good of you to hit Miss Mustang. If her mother found out, you'd be an icicle until you died.”

Ed glared at the Mustang girl.

She turned and looked at Armstrong, “Hey, could you just call me Breeze or Bri for short. And Ed wouldn't be an icicle; he'd be in the hospital from me kicking his butt.”

Breeze turned around and looked over her shoulder, “Are you boys coming? I don't remember the way to the army building very well.”

Edward watch as Al and Armstrong hurried to catch up to her. So much for her being not all that bad. She's going to be a hand full.
