Tasuki and the Hentai Monks
Chapter 7
By Xellas M.
"AHA! At last I found one of you twisted little ecchi monks!" Tasuki exclaimed as he burst into a remote stable on the edge of the monastery's grounds. The fact that said blond haired, blue-eyed monk had currently been very actively engaged in caring for a little wildlife of his own did not stem the tide of the fire seishi's righteous ire one bit.
"Um…let's not blow this out of proportion, ne? Trowa, tell him we were only trying to help!" Quatre stammered, barely remembering to spit out his green-eyed partner's cock before speaking.
Without the slightest hint of embarrassment, the lion keeper pulled his pants up over his erection. Tasuki couldn't help but admire his stoicism; had that been him, he'd have been squirming in discomfort and flaming the intruder.
"Love, I told you before, you want to mess with Suzaku's seishi, fine, but you're on your own." The other boy replied calmly. "As long as he doesn't do any permanent damage, anyway." Trowa warned the redhead as an afterthought as he stepped out of the immediate path of danger.
"No more sex for you, then…" Muttered Quatre, sulking.
Tasuki smirked and then turned back to the blond boy. "Where the fuck are your friends? Tell me and you might still have eyebrows tomorrow…"
"Was it really so bad? You're together with Chichiri now, aren't you?" Quatre turned his large, innocent eyes on the irate seishi. "Besides, it wasn't our fault - if you want to blame someone, blame Elder Happosai. It was *his* idea. We were only trying to help!" The last was said in a pleading voice, the smaller man's body screaming out that his intentions were purely altruistic.
"Don't even TRY that shit on me! Eat fire, bitch! REKKA SHINEN!!!"
One nice wide sweep of the tessen produced very satisfactory results. Tasuki smirked at the singed and smoking young boy standing before him. Black smudges marked his entire face and body; the only color left to the poor boy was his large blue eyes, which were blinking in surprise.
"I'll just hafta find the others on my own then. Ja!"
Tasuki threw a carefree wave behind him as he set out to find Quatre's partners in crime. Days like this, it was damn GOOD to be a Suzaku seishi…

That night, at dinner, Tasuki enjoyed his first peaceful meal since they had arrived. To his right, in Quatre's place, there was only an empty plate. To his left, another vacant space waited for Duo. Most gratifying of all was the spotless table setting across from him, silverware sparkling in the candlelight. Bandit fingers itched with the desire to snag *that* plate from the table to preserve as a trophy. He instead contented himself with only taking the fork. After all, he was a Celestial Warrior and was supposed to be a role model.
The meal wound to a peaceful conclusion. The blue-haired monk left his seat with the Elders and approached his smirking lover.
Hands on his hips, the smiling mask looked stern as he asked, "Tasuki, no da, what happened to your friends?"
Tasuki scratched his head. "I dunno, I heard they're all in the infirmary or somethin'. Must've taken sick…" A single fang stuck out over his lower lip as he did his damndest to pretend he'd had no personal involvement in the turn of events.
"How sad, no da! Why don't we go pay them a visit, na no da!?" The mask remained sober; the monk's voice appropriately concerned.
Chichiri wasn't really buying this, was he? The bandit's eyes narrowed as he looked at his lover.
"Ne, Chiri, maybe tomorrow…after all," the redhead began as he lowered his voice to a seductive whisper. He'd had a great deal of success in sidetracking the monk when he wanted to so far, might as well press his luck. He leaned discreetly into his partner's ear, scraping the lobe with his fangs gently before continuing, "I was kinda hoping ta run my tongue up and down that lovely dick of yours, sucking ya off 'till ya screamed my name, then licking your tight ass until ya beg me to fuck ya."
The effect of this little speech was rewarding; the monk's knees buckled and the younger man was forced to hold him upright, crushing their bodies together.
Visibly, Chichiri gathered together his considerable willpower, though his voice was still husky as he pushed himself away and replied. "I'll definitely hold you to that, no da. *After* we've paid our respects to your sick friends."
Damn, damn, and damn. The bandit sighed, recognizing when he'd lost. Best to get it over with.
* * * * *
They were still quite a ways from the infirmary when they first began to hear the unmistakable signs of a struggle. Loud crashes, followed by muffled cursing, echoed through the entire wing of the building.
As they neared the sick room, they began to make out actual words.
"I am NOT going to be examined by some idiot woman!"
A feminine voice answered sharply, "That's *Doctor* Idiot Woman, thank you very much."
"Ouch! Where the hell did you go to school? Sop touching me, dammit!"
"Look, you can't leave those burns untreated. They'll become infected. Now stop acting like a baby and take your medicine like a man."
By this point, Tasuki and Chichiri had reached the infirmary door. The scene they walked into was more gratifying than even the fire seishi's most wicked fantasies for WuFei.
A petite, brown-haired, blue-eyed young woman held the half-naked and struggling young monk's arm firmly as she administered a pungent-smelling ointment to a series of burn marks randomly scattered across his bronzed skin. There he was, the young man whom Tasuki had felt so threatened by, helpless and being taken care of by a *woman*!
Duo and Quatre were laughing openly as they watched their friend's pointless struggles. Both of them were swathed in bandages the redhead knew hid injuries identical to WuFei's, if perhaps a little less extensive.
"Konban wa, no da! We just wanted to stop by and see how you all were doing, na no da!" Chichiri's cheerful voice cut through their argument, freezing the female doctor and her patient in place.
Quatre and Duo exchanged glances. Duo was the first to speak, issuing a warning glance at WuFei before beginning. "Good evening, Chichiri-sama. We're doing very well, thank you." Duo's eyes met Tasuki's, his expression unreadable, as he continued. "Aren't we, Quatre?"
"Yes, there was just a little accident in the kitchens. Dr. Po is taking very good care of us, though. Right, WuFei?"
Tasuki couldn't believe what he was hearing. Why were they covering for him? Then Quatre also looked at him, smiled slightly, and nodded. Then the bandit understood. They were even now. He smiled and nodded back to Quatre and Duo, who relaxed visibly.
"Idiot women can't even take care of themselves, much less - ITAI!!!" WuFei's response was cut off when the Doctor pulled one of his bandages a bit more tightly than necessary.
"If you're sure then, no da… We'll come by again tomorrow in case you need anything, no da." Chichiri seemed willing to accept the explanation, although Tasuki could tell his lover knew better.
"See ya later, then!" The bandit exclaimed, dragging the blue-haired monk back through the doorway. "We'd love ta stay and chat, but 'Chiri and I have plans, don't we?"
"I guess we do at that, no da." The mage murmured as he was dragged back to their room without protest.
* * * * *
Two weeks later, Tasuki was smiling as he carefully lowered himself into his chair for dinner. It was the first meal the seishi had been to all day and he *definitely* had worked up one hell of an appetite. Who'd have thought Chichiri would be so insatiable? Apparently the monk was doing his best to make up for lost time. Not that the bandit was complaining…
Duo and Quatre arrived at the table moments later, practically bursting with suppressed news. Both were completely recovered from their injuries, and to Tasuki's surprise, the three had become good friends. WuFei was still a little standoffish, but the fire seishi understood that it was because the black-haired monk was still a little ashamed of his part in the earlier antics.
"Tasuki-san, you're not going to believe this!" Duo exclaimed wildly. Whatever the news was, it had to be good; the violet-eyed young man's usually perfect braid was falling apart in excitement.
"Shouldn't we wait for WuFei?" Tasuki began.
"That's just it!!!" Quatre continued, just as excited as his friend. "WuFei's gone!"
"What do ya mean, gone?" The redhead asked.
"Gone. Run away. Left the monastery." Duo picked up, glaring at his friend for stealing his show.
"What the fuck happened? Is he OK?"
Duo shook his head sadly. "No, I don't think he'll ever be OK again. He's getting - " The braided monk swallowed and was obviously finding it hard to continue.
Quatre finished for him. "Do you remember that Doctor they called in from the next village? Dr. Po?"
The fire seishi nodded, thoroughly confused.
"WuFei ran away to marry her." The blond finished.
"No fucking way!"
"It's true! We went looking for him this morning when he didn't show up for breakfast. All his things were gone and there was a note left on his pillow." Duo smirked. "Ya know, I'm really gonna miss the guy, but there's something just too funny about him running off with a *woman*!"
"Well, he was married before he came here." Quatre said reasonably, although there was a familiar mischievous twinkle in his eyes. "Guess he wasn't cut out for this kind of life."
The thought of being subjected to such an unkind fate was enough to make Tasuki finally forgive WuFei for kissing Chichiri. Oh wait - no it wasn't. But it was a good start.
"Anyway, Elder Happosai sent Hiiro after him." Duo added, sadly.
"To try and talk some sense into him?" Tasuki asked
"No, to offer to perform the ceremony himself. He claims he saw this coming from the beginning." The violet-eyed boy shrugged. "I don't know how he does it."
The redhead's eyes strayed to the main table where the wrinkled old gnome in question was playing with what looked like a pink brassiere. Where the hell would a monk, living in a monastery surrounded by men, come up with THAT? The one thing the bandit knew for sure was that he didn't want to know. Up until now, he hadn't believed Quatre's claim that the Elder had instructed his young monks to embarrass them until he and Chichiri became a couple, but suddenly he wasn't so sure.
Happosai caught his eye and winked. The bandit's eyes narrowed, now even more suspicious. Then the ecchi monk stuck out his tongue, wiggling it in an obscene gesture. Tasuki let out a sigh of relief. He should've known. The only thing that old pervert was capable of planning was a strategic panty raid. It just wasn't possible that he was looking out for the romantic well being of his students, former or otherwise.
The redhead turned his full attention back to his dinner, thereby missing the fond, almost affectionate, glance the Elder sent his way.
* * * * *
WuFei and Sally were married two days before the seishi were scheduled to leave the monastery. Their wedding almost had to be postponed, due to an awful tragedy that struck on the grounds.
The body of a drowned old goat was pulled out of the second spring near the practice fields. Already the students were whispering about the fate of anyone unfortunate enough to fall into the water. Since the ceremony was going to take place near that spring, there was a great deal of concern over the safety of those attending. In the end, Elder Happosai stood with his back to the water, bravely placing himself between it and the guests.
Everyone's fears seemed to be unfounded when the couple exchanged their vows without incident. Tasuki squirmed uncomfortably from his place in line with the groomsmen. WuFei, whose appreciation of irony was apparently nonexistent, had gruffly asked him to stand along with Duo, Hiiro, Quatre and Trowa in their wedding as thanks for his part in introducing him to his bride. There had been nothing for it but to accept.
Tasuki had completely tuned out the ceremony, actually, and barely registered it when Elder Happosai announced happily, "And now I may kiss the bride!"
His attention was finally captured when Sally pummeled the tiny old man through the sky.
WuFei was really in for it, he thought as he carefully measured the distance the frail-looking woman had managed to skyrocket the Elder. As if in slow motion, Happosai finally began to descend back to earth - headed right for the newly cursed spring.
It was a testament to the reflexes of the bridal party that they all managed to jump back in time to avoid the splashes thrown up when the ecchi old man finally hit. A crowd gathered around the edge of the water, eagerly waiting to see the result.
"Now THAT is a woman!" Happosai shrieked as his head came up from under the water.
The crowd grumbled in disappointment and disbursed. Tasuki was the only one who noticed that when the Elder scrambled out, he was walking on hooves.
"Hm. Must not have been much there to change…" He murmured to himself as he left to join his lover at the reception.
* * * * *
The day after WuFei and Sally's marriage ceremony, Tasuki woke up alone. It was the first time this had happened since he and Chichiri had gotten together. It was disturbing, just how much it bothered him. Looking around restlessly, he found the note his lover had left, saying only that he had something to take care of and would return that evening.
The bandit sighed and resigned himself to waiting.
* * * * *
It was late, very late, when the knob to their bedroom door finally turned. Tasuki briefly saw the spiky-haired outline of his lover against the light in the hallway as the mage slipped in silently, obviously thinking the redhead asleep. As if he *could* possibly have slept, having been left alone all day with no hint of where the monk had been!
He waited until the door closed before grumbling, "'Bout time!"
He smirked in satisfaction when he heard a crash in the darkened room as the monk jumped. Then there was light, and though it was soft, Tasuki blinked as he adjusted to the sudden change. He sighed. One thing he was learning, it was difficult enough to get any advantage over the mage, but almost impossible to keep it once gained.
"I'm sorry, no da. Did you miss me?" The smiling mask loomed over the prone bandit, closer than expected. It didn't look the least bit apologetic.
"'Course I did. Where the hell were ya?" He kicked away the covers, purposely revealing his naked body to his prodigal lover.
"I had something to take care of, no da." There was a trace of nervousness in the blue-haired man's voice that needn't have been there. OK, it was irritating that Chichiri did not want to share what he had been up to, but Tasuki trusted his partner.
Anyway, whatever it was could wait. "The way I see it, ya owe me. Leaving me like that." The fire seishi sat up just enough so he could reach out and grab the smaller man playfully, pulling him down.
Chichiri went willingly, fitting his body to the bandit's in a way that had become second nature to both of them. Tasuki slid his finger alongside the elder man's jaw, enjoying the feel of warm skin as he sought the invisible edge of the monk's mask. Finding it, his golden eyes slid closed as he pulled it off and leaned upward into his partner's kiss.
It was delicious, but then kissing Chichiri always was. Something was different this time, though. There was a sense of expectation in the kiss. Of itself, this was nothing unusual, but unfathomably, it seemed to stem from *above* the waistline.
Slowly, Tasuki disengaged himself from the monk. He looked up, ready to press the issue until he got his answer, but the words died in his throat as he met his lover's eyes.
He blinked. Chichiri blinked back.
If Chichiri had been beautiful before, he was exquisite now. He didn't realize how long he had been staring until the monk cleared his throat and gave a nervous little smile. "Well, no da?"
"You're…healed." Disbelieving, he gently stroked the flawless skin, feeling the delicate tremor of an eyelid, which only yesterday had been scar tissue. His wish had come true.
Doubt began gnawing at the fire seishi and he in turn gnawed at his lower lip. Why had Chichiri chosen to take this irreversible step? Had Tasuki in some way failed to let the older man know how attractive he was, despite his reassurances?
"You don't look too happy." The monk muttered as he drew away and sat up. Disappointment shadowed his features.
Damn! "I am happy, 'cause I'm with you. Always. It's just…you didn't do this just 'cause of me, did ya?" He felt terrible for asking, but he had to know. He sat up as well and held his lover tightly.
"Well…yes." The mage replied, clearly puzzled. "Isn't that what you wanted?"
"Yeah, but ya know I'd love ya even if you were missing both eyes, your nose, an' were covered in hairy warts besides." Tasuki was dead serious despite his choice of words. He continued in a much lighter vein, "But it's too late for that now. I guess I'll just hafta settle for perfection." He gave a mock sigh of disappointment and leaned in for a quick kiss.
Chichiri allowed the kiss for a moment, then pulled away. He gently took the younger man's hands and held them in his own. His deep eyes smiled, though his face was solemn as he addressed the redhead's concerns.
"Tasuki, I've been so happy ever since we have been together. Happier than I've ever been. I've been thinking about a lot of things, including what you said before. It is true that I kept the scar to remember Hikou and Kouran. For a long time I didn't think of anything at all, except that I had to somehow try and make up for what I did. It was the only thing that kept me going.
"But now…I don't think I *could* feel the way I feel when I'm with you, if I hadn't made peace with my past. And I realized that the people I loved back then wouldn't have wanted to be remembered like that. And you are the one who cared enough to notice. I love you, Tasuki. Thank you."
Fortunately for the fire seishi, he didn't need to come up with a reply. Chichiri kissed him, gently brushing away tears that leaked from the bandit's eyes. The kiss deepened gradually, passion growing so sweetly that their souls were rapidly consumed by the flames. When it seemed nothing would be left of the pair, a Phoenix rose from the ashes, uniting them with a tie not even a God could sever.

Unrelated Author's Note: Thanks so much to everyone who reviewed Insight, a short I recently posted from Chichiri's POV about falling in love. It's really great that you all would like to see more and I'd love to do so, but I know that if I wrote Tasuki's piece it wouldn't be anywhere near as good. The inspiration for that stemmed largely from the style of writing I used…and that style would be completely inappropriate for Tasuki (or at least I think so).
Here comes the fun part: a challenge. I will continue that story, from Chichiri's POV…if someone feels up to taking on Tasuki's POV and alternating chapters with me. Anyone interested in taking me up on that, please email sailrneptune@hotmail.com.
