Hi, this is my first Fushigi Yuugi Fanfic, so... tell me what you think. It starts out in one of my OC's P.O.V's

Elizabeth P.O.V.
Ever since my father and younger siblings had died I wanted to just forget everything. Just recently my older brother, David, died in a car acident. Today I just vistited his grave and I will be visiting my mother and step-father. Oh! Sorry not to introduce myself, I'm Elizabeth. My siblings that died are Mamoru, my younger brother, and Shinji, his twin. She died at the same time as him. Now, I'm the only one left, second born, last dead. My mother name is Anabell, and my fathers name is unknown to me, I can only remember his last name 'Mitsuyo' and the name of the god, 'Suzaku'.
I walked towards thier house and saw smoke. I began to run and stood in horror as I saw my step-father being carried away in a body bag. I did all that I could do. I ran into the infuro to find my Mother. I can't remember what the firemen yelled at me as I ran past, but I'm sure it was to get away. I remember the scream that tore threw my throught when I ran to Mother's room and found her laying there on the bed. She was sleeping, oblivious to the inferno around her. I knew I had to save her, I couldn't afford to lose anyone else, she couldn't die, not now, not yet.
I made my way over to her prone form and attempted to drag her out of the room, note the word attempted, I couldn't get out of the room. The doorway had been blocked by the flames. I did the only thing I could think of, I adjusted my mother's (hopefully) slepping body and jumped threw the flames, the hem of my dress caught on fire, but I didn't care as my feet were burned. I just pulled her with all my might to the open front door where the firemen were. I placed her by them then ran back in to get Ki.
I can remember the fear that ran threw my veins when I heard her pitaful meow for help. "KI!" Was all I could yell, Ki, my only friend left, my companian threw all these years, of pain, of wanting to forget... everything. I began coughing, the smoke filling my lungs, I began to run out of air. But, I couldn't, I had to save Ki. I followed the sounds of her meows until I came to a closed door.
I grabbed the doorknob, wincing as my flesh was burned, and yanked it open. The wall of flames shot out at me and my arms were burned as I placed them in front of me. I remember running into the flames, further burning myself, in order to save my freind. She was in a corner, I had to crawl on the ground to get her, and when I did. I ran out of there.
By then the house was falling apart, I can still feel the pain as a wooden beam hit me in the back of the leg. I can remember the coolness of the grass as I collasped on it once I got out of the inferno. The paramedics pulled my onto a strecher and I remember one of them turned my head away from my mothers still body.
Tears began to fill my eyes as i relized why she wasn't moving. She was dead before I got there... I was to late... I couldn't save her. Just like I couldn't save Ana-ki, Otouto-kun, or Ani-ue. I let all of them die, just like I let Father die. I didn't deserve to live. Why? Why?! WHY?! Why, after all these deaths, am I still alive? I can remember that, the monent I wanted to die instead of them, it began to rain.
I lay there in the hospital for a few days until they let me go. I remember the nurses were looking at me with pity on thier faces. They were sad because I had just lost the rest of my family all on one night, by the same thing that killed my father when I was 4 and the twins were just 18 months old, and David was 6.
I went to Mother and Step-Father's funerals that very same day. I remember, a week afterwords I had recived news that I was the owner of Step-Fathers company, of Mothers flower shop, and of Step-Fathers Mansion in Toyko. I forgot to mention that I live in Kyoto (sp?) and had red hair. I then dyed my hair blonde and put blue streaks in it. I guess, I just wanted a new identity. A few months later, my doctor told me that I devoloped lung cancer. I guess living in the same house as a chain smoker (Step-father) and having to go to Father's company, which sells mostly tobacco based products, at least twice a week doesn't help very much when cancer runs in your mothers side of the family.
I remember how shocked I was when I looked in a mirror and saw I had gotten burnt more than I thought. Half my face had a scar on it from the fire hitting me, my hands had scars on them from the past and the fire. My arms did as well. My left leg was never going to work as well as before, apparntly the beam tore threw some muscle and struck the bone. I still have some wood stuck inside my muscles. I can remember laughing at how much make-up I have to put on everyday to cover my scars. At how numb I've become, just so I could run the company like Step-Father wanted me to. Just so I could run the shop like Mother wanted me to. Just so I could become a doctor like I wanted to. Just so I could become a vet like Ana-ki wanted me to. Just so I could inforce the law like Otouto-kun wanted me to, so I could be a singer like Ani-ue wanted me to be.
I had to work, study, sleep, go to school, work, study, sleep, visit graves, go to school, study, sleep, study, go to school, volenteer, study, sleep, go to school, and ect. I basicly spent most of my time at school and studying. I remember when I relized one of my co-workers who was having family problems didn't show up for work. My boss gave me his address and had me go get him. I can still see it in my head, I opened the door, and there he was.
The first thing my eyes saw was the gun laying at his feet, my eyes then moved up, he slit his wrists as well. I continued to look up until I saw what had truly killed him. He shot himself pointblank in the head. With a .480 Ruger; I fall over everytime I shoot that gun at the range, I couldn't belive he ended his life like that. My eyes traveled to the wall behind him. There was blood and brains everywhere. I couldn't handle it anymore. I screamed. And screamed. Until someone came to see what all the camotion was about. I just remember screaming until the police moved me away from the 'crime scean' as they called it. I saw one of then go puke when he saw 'the body'; my throught had hurt. I couldn't remember anything of the rest of the day except the policemen talking to me.
I can still feel the emptyness that entered my heart as I watched yet another person get taken to the mourge. I remember when I walked back into the mansion, Lai-Kang-Lin, my roommate who believed herself to the reincarnation of the younger sister of a Suzaku Seishi, pulled me into a hug. I can still hear her soft voice telling me it was all okay, that everything would get better. That at least she would never leave me. I can also remember how she told me about her older brother pushing her out of the way of an oncoming car and dieing.
I had thought she was a boy when I first met her. But, that's the past and the past is over. The thing is that now, everything is getting hard again. Ki is trying to get me to go to the libary more often, I wonder why.... Lai-Kang-Lin has been locking herself in her room for longer periods of time. She once told me "On a day where you fall into another realm you will find true love, friendship, and your destiny." At the time I thought she was having problems between her pastlife and her current one. At times she even went so far as to tell me she wasn't Lai-Kang-Lin, but Kourin, I shouldn't get into that right now, I should be telling you more of my background so you can understand why I act the way I do.
Now, because Mother was a proper British lady, I had become one too. At times I may forget and act like an american, but I try to be polite and proper. And, after all my experiances with death, I relized something. Love is the slowest form of suicide. And that noone should die before they've had a chance to live.
I had planned to end my life so I could be reunited with my family, but Ki just sat there watching as I raised the knife over my heart, ready to end it all. I couldn't stand those eyes, looking at me as if I was in the wrong. I dropped the knife and, as it clattered onto the ground, broke down in tears. I couldn't stand it anymore! Why? Why was I the only one stuck here? Why was I the one punished with life? Why?
~In the Gods Realm~~Baykko P.O.V~
Suzaku sighed, he watched as his daughter, my neice, attemped to end her life. I knew that cat would help her. I mean, what else could she do? She was going to die of lung cancer, her whole family died.Suzaku died in a fire because he had to return to this realm. He saved thier lives and they only blamed themselves. Then her younger brother and sister both drownd in the lake and since then she couldn't be on any type of boat without her hand being held. Then her mother remarries and a few years later her brother is killed in a car accident. She was pulled out in time and watched as he died. And now all of this?
I placed my hand on Suzakus sholder. "It's okay. That cat is watching over her. Soon we shall see her, soon she will be in The Universe of the Four Gods. Then you can talk to her." I think that worked, because Suzaku then hit a button the the remote that turned the T.V off and began to walk towards the Konan mirror to watch over his country. I turned to face Seriyuu.
"What is the big deal about that cat? I mean, it's just a stray cat she picked up off the streets." Seriyuu was laying on the couch, looking board, he knew she wouldn't be able to end her life. He was the God of War, he saw the advantages and disadvanages in someones death.
I took a breath to figure out how to explain this. "The cat, Ki, is a form of energy." I was meet with a confused look. "She is a cat yes, but she carries some of Suzaku's energy. Ki is also Elizabeth's only link to the heavenly realm. She[the cat] was sent there a few years before her brother died. He was only twenty-two and a half when he was killed by the explosion[of the car]. Ki, helped her through that, she is a graurdian of sorts, a protecter you could call her. A disembodiement of her younger siblings. Remember thier names ment, Protector and Belive/Hope." I looked back up a my younger brothers face. He understood how hard it was to explain.
~Toyko,Elizabeth's house, 6 months after her Mother and step-father died.~~Third person P.O.V~
Lai-Kang-Lin sat in the libary as she was reading a book. She closed her eyes and sensed that Elizabeth was with Ki downstairs. She moved to get up but collasped as pain took over her head. She gripped her head and moaned in pain. "No... not another vision, not now." She tried to pull herself up off the floor and sucedded. She stumbled out of the room and through the hallway, as she was passing the stairs she fell again and began shaking as she saw the past again. She became still as her mind went off.
"Chou Ryuuen!" I yelled out, I was in a nine year old body, I knew what would happen, but I couldn't stop it. There was a cart comming towards me, I just kept running towards my big brother. He turned and looked at me.
"Watch out!" I looked towards the side and was meet with horses running over me. "Kourin!" he cried out as he ran towards me.
Lai-Kang-Lin woke up with a start and pushed herself to the side, still beliving her death would be comming for her at that very moment. This action rezulted in her falling down the stairs. " 'Lizabeth!" was all she could cry out as she tucked into herself, hopeing not to die. Elizabeth ran up the stairs and braced herself for the impact. They both went back a few more steps before they stopped. Once Elizabeth got off of Lai-Kang-Lin, she smaked her over the head.
"I've told you not to be by the stairs when you have thses visions!" She yelled out in a frightened voice.
"Gomen." Lai-Kang-Lin replied with a sheepish smile. She got up and began to walk down the stairs where Ki was sitting looking up at them. "What's that book at Ki's feet?" Elizabeth looked over at her cat and smiled.
"That's the book she made me checkout from the libary." She and Lai-Kang-Lin walked down the stairs until they were standing next to the cat. "What'cha doing with the book Ki-chan?" She kneeled down towards Ki and took the book from the floor. Lai-Kang-Lin walked over to the living room where Elizabeth followed her.
"Want me to read it aloud?" Lai-Kang-Lin asked as a joke.
"Go ahead."
"After Suzaku-sama was summoned, Lady Miaka asked the Suzaku seven if they wanted to travel to her world, and they agreed. Suzaku-sama and the other Gods decided to travel to this strange world as well. Seriyuu-sama brought along his seishi, Genbu-sama brought along stability, and Byakko-sama brought himself along. (Lazy person) They waited until someone opened the book and helped them along thier new journy. And you, the estemmed reader(s) is (Are ya stupid book!) that person, (people) and will become who you (they) truly are." Lai-Kang-Lin finshed reading the first page, all the while Elizabeth laughing at the changes she made.
"So? What you think, Miss 'Estemed reader'?" Elizabeth and Lai-Kang-Lin laughed over the book until a bright light flashed above them. It had white, blue, green, and red in it and plused like it was alive. They both took a step in the opposite direction and Lai-Kang-Lin yelled when twenty people fell out of the light onto the floor. "Lai-Kang-Lin, help me up. I have someone on me." And indeed she did, almost everyone's favorite blue haired monk had fallen over her legs.
"Itai no da." the blue haired monk that was laying on Elizabeths legs replied.
"Okay! Who the heck are you people?!" Lai-Kang-Lin yelled at the twenty some people laying on thier floor.
"Okay, nice joke Nuriko." Tasuki replied as he pulled himself off the ground. Nakago glared at him when Tasuki stepped on his cape thingie.
"Oi, I'm over here! Being crushed by Byakko!" Nuriko replied as he pushed the tiger god off of him.
"Sorry. Hey? Where's Suzaku? And Seriyuu? At least Genbu landed on thier couch." The gods sharp golden catlike eyes searched the room until they landed on the form of his younger siblings. Seriyuu's sleeve was caught on Suzaku's armor. They were struggling to free eachother.
"Nuriko? As in one of the Suzaku seishi Nuriko? As in Chou Ryuuen, Nuriko?" Lai-Kang-Lin asked, her amythest eyes widening. Lai-Kang-Lin looked just like Nuriko in almost every way. Her eyes had flecks of gold in them. She also dressed in more boyish cloths than Nuriko, haveing taken over her brothers role in life, just as Nuriko took over his sisters role. Other than that, they had the same blood type, the same birthdate, even the same height.
Elizabeth was born looking like a female version of Suzaku with some europian fetures. She was 5'8", blood type O, and never tried to step outside of the role she was supposed to play in socity. She only did something when it was expected of her, not when she wanted to....
"Lai-Kang-Lin, you and I both know that there is nothing outside of this dark, hopeless world we live in." Came the voice of thier other roomate whom they rarely saw, Ikari (fury) Nibun (half) and standing behind her was her younger half sister, Tsuriai (Equal or something like that). Ikari was 19 and had short blue hair and pericing blue eyes. Tsuriai was 15 and had white hair and yellow catlike eyes.
"Ane-ue, perhaps you should not talk to them like that. It is considered rude. Onegai-shimasu don't be rude to the guests." Tsuriai whispered to her older sister in a quiet voice. She walked away and began to untangle Seriyuu's sleeve from Suzaku's armor. "I apologize for my friends and sister. I'm afraid thier not to good with strangers." She walked over to Chichiri and pulled him off of Elizabeth. Then pulled Tamahome's out cold body (moron hit his head) off of Miaka and Hotohori. Elizabeth started helping get the others on thier feet as well. Lai-Kang-Lin spoke with Tasuki most of the time and Ikari just leaned in the doorway and glared at everyone.
"Hello, I'm Elizabeth." Elizabeth held her hand out to Mitsukake, who shook it as well.
"Mitsukake." He let his hand fall to the side after she let go and began to greet the other guests.
~time passes by~
"Umm... Minna! Minna! Onegai-shimasu!" Tsuriai yelled out in her quiet voice, not being heard until her older sister stepped up infront of her.
"OI! Listen up! Tsuriai has something 'ta say!" Ikari yelled out then stepped back to allow her sister to be seen.
"Gomen nasai, demo it seems as though you all need a place to stay. Eeto... I cannot have any say in the matter, demo this is Elizabeth-san's house and I think she should decide where minna can stay." Tsuriai said in her quiet voice.
Eliizabeth stood up from her seat on the banister and speaks. "All of you are allowed to stay here, but since a few of you are underage, you will have to go to school with Lai-Kang-Lin and Tsuriai. Including the people from this world." When she said this, Miaka groaned and slumped her sholders. Yui laughed and stuck her tounge out at the Suzaku seishi.
"And how old do ya' hav' ta be 'till ya don' have ta go to this 'school' thing?" Tasuki yelled out.
"18." the four girls and the two mikos coursed. A few curses and some groans were heard. Not to many from the Seriyuu side though, they were mostly older. Elizabeth, Lai-Kang-Lin, and Tsuriai showed everyone where thier rooms were and who was going to sleep in the same room as who.

"Are you sure you want to put Ikari with someone who could piss her off?" Lai-Kang-Lin asked Elizabeth and Tsuriai, "I've been on the reciving end of some of her punches and kicks, and trust me. They hurt like hell."
"It's quite rude to place her in a room with strangers without asking." Tsuriai replied, looking up at the two girls. The girls just laughed and they all went to thier seperate rooms.
