Chapter Two

"Alright, think rationally. What could have happened? Maybe that bright red light we saw was the plane blowing up, and we were thrown here. But if so, why weren't we harmed in any way? Dumb luck? No. There has to be another explaination." Gannie thought as she was thrown in a room with three other people. "Huh? Who's that?" a girl dressed in what looked like a school uniform asked, looking at Gannie in interest. "I'm Gannie, who're YOU?" Gannie said. "I'm Miaka, this is Nuriko, and this is Hotohori. By the way, don't be fooled. Both of THEM are guys." Miaka introduced. Suddenly some of the men Gannie had seen earlier walked in. "Ah, your all awake. Now be nice and none of you will get hurt." one of the men said, sounding confident and smug. Gannie's blood boiled at the tone, and she jumped up, throwing herself at one of the men and knocking him over. At the same time, Miaka jumped up and began biting some of them. "What makes you think we'll give up THAT EASY?!" Both girls said. All of the sudden someone knocked their heads together from behind, momentarily stunning them. "Hello. I'm Kouji. I'm supposed to bring ONE girl to our leader, Eiken, but I think I'll bring both of you and let him choose between you." a man said, who had a scar on his left cheek. "Uh oh." Gannie thought, as she and the other girl were dragged down the hall.

"Alright, now which way?" Lana thought, as she came to a fork in the path she had been following. "Oh man, I don't have TIME for this! Who knows what they're doing to Gannie! Somebody HELP!!!" Out of the corner of her eye, Lana thought she saw a flash of red in the path to the right. She cautiosly walked up to it, and noticed a few broken branches. "Don't know who you are, but thanks." Lana thought silently, and ran as fast as she could down the path. "Hang on, Gannie. I'm coming."

"'The red haired girl from another world ran on down the path, unaware that she was being watched by a pair of golden brown eyes watching her everymove.' Geez, this DOES sound a lot like Lana. Not even noticing it when she's being stared at, just rushing head-long into trouble with no thought of safety. I wonder where those two really went?" Kyle wondered, walking out of the bathroom with the red book in hand. He looked around for a while, but never found the two girls. "It's not possible..." Kyle said to himself, slowely looking at the book, and opening it back up. "'Meanwhile, the two girls had been brought before the bandits' leader...'"

"Oh...my...heavens..." Gannie thought as she looked in disgust at the fat, ugly, pig of a man that was in charge. The man known as Eiken looked Gannie and Miaka over, then held up his hand in a victory sign. "Leave them both here. The more the merrier!" he told the men that had been restraining the girls in a slightly slurred voice. "What's your hurry? Stay a while!" Miaka told the men desparetely, but they left. "Now you two be good girls, or else." Eiken told them, grinning evilly. "Listen, you're the leader, so you should now. Do any of your men have a charecter on their body?" Miaka asked him, while Gannie fell on the floor in exasperation. "Now is not the time to be asking something like that!!!" she yelled at her, hopping for a window. "Oh no you don't!" he yelled, grabbing Gannie's ankle and making her crash to the ground. "Since you're so full of energy, I think I'll start with you." Gannie was told, as Eiken grinned in a disturbing way. "Someone help me!" Gannie screamed, struggling for all she was worth. Suddenly, something crashed into the wall, making a large crack. "What the-???" Gannie gasped. Nuriko smashed through the wall, and Hotohoiri came in, grabbing Miaka, and asking if Gannie was okay. "I- I'm fine." Gannie said, grateful when he undid her bindings. "You piece of trash, I oughtta-" Nuriko snarled, walking up to the bandit's leader, but was cut off as a gust of wind. After it died down, the two girls were gone. "Where did-?" Nuriko gasped, and then saw the smirking red head standing on a damaged wall, with one girl under each arm. Kouji, who had been dragged in with Nuriko and Hotohori looked at the man, a shocked expression on his face.

"Genrou! I didn't expect you to be back" Eiken gasped. "Long time no see, Eiken. So you decided to make yourself leader while I was gone, huh? You're dumber than I thought. So are these some slaves you caught? Doesn't matter. They're mine now." Genrou said, smirking. "I will not allow it!" Hotohori yelled, raising his sword. Genrou's smirk deepened, and he flung something at him, yelling, "Genjitsu Shinzarou!" Suddenly four wolves appearded and began fighting them, while Genrou made his get away. "Eiken! If you want the girls back, challenge me for the position of leader!" he yelled as he ran away. Gannie had been stunned into silence until now, and she threw back her head, letting the name of her last hope rip out of her mouth with ear splitting intensity. "LANA!!!! HELP ME!!!!"
