Fushigi Yuugi Fan Fiction ❯ In the Hour of Need ❯ Ch. 2 ( Chapter 1 )
Tasuki woke up from his pleasant dream as he heard a familiar da. He dismissed it and closed his eyes again to resume his sleep. The next thing he felt was a hand upon his shoulder. "Chichiri… I don't wanna go yet…. I still have some more sake to drink…" Tasuki turned to give the monk a pleading expression, but was taken aback when he saw the face of a stranger and not the happy expanse of Chichiri's mask.
"Who…." Tasuki tried to say, but was cut off as the stranger slapped a hand over his mouth. He had been holding a damp cloth in it, and Tasuki inhaled the vapors. Tasuki tried to wiggle out of the grasp, but a gruff hand shot out and captured his arm. On the other side of the bandit, another man appeared and grabbed his other arm. Tasuki's eyes grew wide, and he tired to struggle against the men holding him, but he was in too much of a weakened state, being intoxicated and all, and was unable to free himself. The drug in the clothe took it's effect, and Tasuki fell unconscious. The two men started to dragged the red-head out of the bar and into a nearby slum.

Chichiri let out a mighty sigh as he made his way out of the little boys' room. He reached his arms above his head and stretched his muscles. He had been sitting for a while and they demanded to have the tension relieved from them. The muscles gave a nice little popping noise and Chichiri started to walk back over to where Tasuki was napping.
He stopped dead in his tracks. Tasuki was gone. There was sake still on the table and the chair the bandit was sitting on had been knocked over. Chichiri glanced around the room. He was starting to get worried. This wasn't like Tasuki. He knew him too well. Something was wrong. Something was definitely wrong!
Chichiri casually walked up to the bartender. "Excuse me no da, have you by chance seen where the man with orange hair and a long black trench coat went no da?" The bartender looked up from where he was currently cleaning out a glass.
"You mean that loudmouth that was sitting over at the table in the corner?" Chichiri nodded. "Yeah I saw him leave with these two other guys. It looked like he had passed out from drinking too much and they were just dragging his sorry ass home." Chichiri blinked a couple of times.
"Did you see where they went with him no da?" he asked very politely. The bartender scratched his chin, obviously in deep thought.
"I think they were headed for the motel across the street." Chichiri suddenly perked up. He gave the man a large grin.
"Thank you so much no da!" With that, the monk ran out of the bar and headed towards the hotel that the bartender had mentioned.

It took Chichiri forever to get information from the man at the front desk. He was definitely not be cooperative. He wouldn't tell the monk anything except that he had seen the orange-haired boy come in with a couple of guys. Finally Chichiri had to bribe him to get a straight answer about what room they had gone to.
"Room 235 no da…." It was taking forever to find the room. Some of the rooms had numbers missing and there was no real order to the madness. Chichiri let out sigh. `I hope Tasuki-kun is alright no da. I wonder why those men dragged him off anyway….' He stopped. Looked at the number on the door. It was 235. He heard noises coming from inside, but couldn't make out what they were. He carefully grabbed the doorknob and opened the door slowly. Nothing could have prepared him for the sight laid out in front of him.
~ That's it for chapter 2…. Sorry, I promised there would be a lemon this chapter, but that's reserved for the next chapter. What did Chichiri see you might ask? Well, you're just gonna have to wait…. ^_~ Hahahaha I have power…. Thanks for reading, please tell me what you think! Thanks again!!!!!
