Fushigi Yuugi Fan Fiction ❯ The Truth of Love ❯ Wakey Wakey ( Prologue )
It was a regularly normal day, and the blue hired monk crept out of his room to stare at the rising sun. He could feel the warm rays on his face, and he removed his mask to feel them on his real face. It was a comforting feeling and Chichiri relished in it.
Chichiri's thoughts soon drifted to a certain loudmouthed, red-haired, fang-boy. How he wanted to tell Tasuki what he felt for him, but he was too afraid that he would be rejected, so he pushed those thoughts away. He put his mask securely back onto his face, and headed to Tasuki's room to wake him.
On the other side of the palace, a redheaded bandit could be see slumped in the hallway up against one of the gigantic pillars, surrounded by sake bottles….. empty sake bottles, and snoring peacefully. Apparently Tasuki had a long night of drinking and was not able to make it all the way back to his room.
As the sun rose higher into the sky, the light drifted over Tasuki's sleeping form. He stirred a little, but resumed his state of relaxation.
Chichiri rounded the hall, and was taken aback at the sight laid out before him. Tasuki was slumped over, asleep, without his shirt on, and looking very sexy with the way the rays of light were dancing through his hair and other features. Chichiri almost got a nose bleed upon seeing Tasuki like this.
He quickly composed himself, and tiptoed over to the sleeping seishi. "Tasuki…" He said softly, trying to wake him. There came no reply. "Tasuki…." He spoke a little louder this time, but still Tasuki did not respond. "TASUKI!" Chichiri almost yelled. A flock of birds that had been sitting in a tree nearby took off in fright.
Tasuki jumped at the sound of his name being yelled. "AHHHH!" He started at Chichiri, who was smiling happily at succeeding in the task of waking the boy. "God damn it Chichiri! You almost gave me a heart attack." The monk's smile grew even larger.
Tasuki went to stand up, but he apparently had a hangover, and fell back down towards the ground. He would have hit the ground hard, if it weren't for Chichiri's grasp on his shoulders. Chichiri helped Tasuki up slowly, and draped the man's arm over his shoulder for support. "Tasuki, you should really lie down. You don't look so good no da." "Yeah, maybe your right….." Tasuki rubbed his temple, trying to stop the headache from growing.
As Chichiri helped Tasuki back to his room, the bandit took the time to admire him. He had never really been this close and touching Chichiri this much before. Being held to the warmth that was Chichiri, and having his arms draped over him was very comforting.
Tasuki sighed, his thoughts running back to the dream that the monk had rudely awoken him from. It was a rather explicit dream of said monk. Tasuki could never tell Chichiri his real feelings. He was a monk, and he probably never thought of even loving someone, especially a man.
Tasuki was broken away from his thoughts when Chichiri had stopped walking, and had opened the door to his room. Tasuki had a bewildered look on his face. "Chichiri, why are we at your room? I thought you were taken me to my room." Chichiri blushed under his mask, "My room was closer, and I don't feel like dragging you all the way to the other side of the palace to get to your room no da." "Oh…" Tasuki tried to hide the disappointment in his voice.
Chichiri hoped that Tasuki would not figure out the true purpose of being brought to this room. He pushed those thoughts back, and helped the bandit into his bed. He pulled the covers up, and patted Tasuki on the head. "Good night no da." " 'night."
~ Ok, this is only the beginning. It will get better…. I promise. Be warned that the next chapter will be a lemon…. MWAHAHAHA!!!!!
