Gojyo Finds A Kitten

“Hey, it’s coming from over here. I see something!”

The match lighting the way flickered out and Gojyo cursed as his fingers were singed.

“Well? What the hell is it?”

The redhead quickly struck another light, holding up a hand to shield it from the wind and rain. “It looks like a mass of jelly.”

The other man sighed and stepped forward, knowing they wouldn’t be getting anywhere without the kappa satisfying his curiosity first.

He leaned over the redhead’s shoulder, peering into the little cove of the tree. “Ch. It’s a cat, idiot.”

“A cat!? Damn, wadda ya know, it is a cat.” Gojyo reached forward and poked the small ball of fur tentatively.

The small bundle slowly uncurled, lifting a small golden head and blinking big beautiful blue eyes.

“It’s a kitten,” Gojyo breathed, transfixed.

“Yeah, that’s great. We’ve found out what the noise was now let’s keep looking for a way out of here.”

Sanzo walked a few paces, intent of leaving, only to stop when he realized the kappa wasn’t following. He found the redhead still rooted to the same spot, staring into the hollow of the tree.

“What the hell are you waiting for!?” he hissed. “I want to get out of this fucking rain!”

Gojyo raised his head and blinked slowly. “Sanzo . . .”

“No! Absolutely not!”

“Don’t be such a bastard, Sanzo.” the redhead growled, “The poor thing is shaking like crazy.”

“Not our problem. Finding a way out of this damned forest is.”

Sanzo turned again and walked away - leaving the kappa behind to stare down sorrowfully at the tiny shivering creature before sighing resignedly and setting off after the monk.

The blonde spared him a quick glare when he caught up. “At least you’re not a complete fool.”

Crimson eyes narrowed and hands clenched, “I know the rain makes you moody, Sanzo, and I know that’s why you’re being such a bastard. That’s the only reason I’ve been humoring you for the last four hours since we got trapped in this damned forest, but you are seriously starting to piss me off!”

Sanzo halted in his tracks and faced the redhead, his weapon sitting comfortably and familiarly in his hand. “Try something, kappa. I dare you.”

“Get it through your thick skull that I don’t want to fight you, but you’ve got to cut this shit out, damn it! There’s only so much I can take.”

Sanzo raised the gun, barrel steady and focused directly between gleaming ruby. His finger tightened on the trigger and he saw Gojyo’s eyes widen - only to whirl suddenly and shoot behind them, the shots echoing off various trunks.

Laughter filled the clearing.

“My my my. What to do now that you’ve realized I’m here? You two certainly are amusing, but I’ve had my fun and it’s time to end it. You wont be a challenge for me now that you’ve gotten separated from your little friends.”

Sanzo snorted, leisurely reloading his weapon. “First of all, they’re not my friends,” the blonde said, raising his arm, the glint of silver shining in the pale light of the moon, “and secondly, I’m all the challenge you need.”

A streak of red shone in the darkness as the shot was fired and the demon gasped, falling to knees, blood spurting from his chest.

“Don’t think it’ll be so easy to . . . escape.” sickly yellow eyes closed as the body pitched forward in the rain.

“Well, that didn’t help us any.” Gojyo pulled out a cigarette, determined to light up only to curse a second later as the tobacco was soaked through. “It’s still foggy and the rain hasn’t lifted.”

Sanzo huffed leaning back against a tree, crossing his arms over his chest and glared at the redhead. “Obviously there’s more than just one of them at work here. Go look for them.”

“What the hell! Why me?” Gojyo squawked.

“I already took care of one, now it’s your turn. Start pulling your weight around here instead of dragging everyone else down.”

Gojyo shook his fist at the blonde, “you’re one to talk you lazy, spoiled, monk. When the hell have you ever done any work?”

“I’ll have my work cut out for me praying for your souls after I kill you wont I?” Sanzo growled, opening one violet eye, daring the redhead to disagree.

Gojyo shook his head and went in search of the other demon.

Or demons, he corrected. Hope that lazy bozo gets frostbite on his little tush.

“About damn time you got back, you perverted water sprite.”

Gojyo grunted and shook the hair off his face, sending water spraying in all directions.

“No thanks to you.” he bit out, though there was no real sting to his words. Sanzo’s voice had been far more mellow than usual, he noticed - probably because the rain had stopped. “So, now what, boss man?”

Sanzo huffed, “Hell if I know, but I’m not walking through this forest. I don’t even know where the next town is. Hakkai kept the map.”

Gojyo bit his lip in worry. So we wait? No good, it may be too late.

“Hey, listen bozo. You can stay here and wait for those two to come looking for you but I’m gonna try and find a town. Gotta have my women, you know,” Gojyo winked suggestively at Sanzo who only sneered in disgust.

“I don’t care what you do, just don’t expect the rest of us to go looking for you when you get lost.”

“I think I’d rely on kindness more from a starving wolverine than you, Sanzo-sama.” Gojyo drawled waving a dismissive hand in the air. “See you later.”

Sanzo sat on the trunk of a tree and pulled out his smokes. Let the idiot go and get himself lost. It’d serve him right.

“Gojyo! I’m so glad you made it here alright, I wasn‘t sure that you‘d be able to find this town so quickly. What have you been doing?”

Gojyo stood and stretched, feeling inordinately pleased with himself. He’d managed to beat the others at getting into town.

“Just taking care of some pressing business,” he responded, winking and leering in Sanzo’s direction.

The monk stiffened and stubbed out the cigarette dangling from his lips. “You call spending time with some hussy pressing business?”

Gojyo merely smiled indulgently and licked his lips wantonly, making sure to shield the sight from Hakkai’s view. “Well, I wouldn’t have to spend time with those hussies, as you call them, if you-”

“Hakkai, let’s go get a room,” Sanzo interrupted, standing abruptly and getting off the jeep.

Hakkai nodded looking puzzled, but followed obediently and Gojyo smiled. He’d been making more and more bold comments, being more daring in his hints to the monk about wanting him in his bed but so far the blonde had not let him finish a single invitation. That seemed to be a bad habit of his - interrupting.

Gojyo followed the group at a leisurely pace, whistling softly. The clerk at the front counter was telling Hakkai they only had two rooms to spare.

Perfect.

“Hey, Hakkai,” Gojyo called, just as the healer was about to plead with the woman for four. Well, Sanzo had been in a pretty bad mood. “Don’t worry about it, I’ll room with the monk.”

Violet eyes narrowed and Hakkai bit his lip in indecision.

“Alright,” the healer said slowly, probably dreading the bloodshed but not feeling charitable enough to put up with Sanzo’s bad mood himself, “just don’t kill each other, you two.”

Gojyo nodded and waved the green-eyed man away after accepting the key from him.

“Don’t worry, Hakkai, Sanzo wont kill me - he’s too lazy to clean up after himself,” Gojyo stated, winking at the worried man. “Ow! You damned monk, how many time have I told you - you don’t throw that thing!”

“My hand slipped.”

“Ah. Now, this is better. It was cold wandering around in the rain.”

Gojyo fell back onto the bed, arms splayed and grinned up at the ceiling. He glanced at the monk sitting quietly on his bed reading a newspaper.

I am never going to get used to seeing him in glasses. Wouldn’t have dreamed that the geeky look would be such a turn on.

But it was. One look at the monk with his specs, robes shrugged off and cinched around that lean waist, knowing fingers holding a cigarette against rosebud lips that parted and sucked in the cylinder, that quick, agile pink moist tongue darting out to flick against the white of the wrapping-. The redhead shifted and groaned softly as he felt himself stiffen and lengthen. Oh, how Gojyo wished that tongue would wrap around his-

“Meow”

For a second Gojyo could only blink stupidly. He wasn’t exactly thinking with the organ in his skull and by the time his brain caught up it was too late.

There was a horrified pause and then Sanzo vaulted across the room and leapt on the bed to land on Gojyo’s legs - effectively blocking his escape. The blonde pinned the redhead’s hands to the mattress.

“Gojyo, what was that?”

Uh oh, that sweet silky voice scares me a shitload more than yelling would have.

Gojyo swallowed and dared to meet furious violet eyes. “What was what?”

Amethyst narrowed and Gojyo forced himself not to squirm at the calculating look. Under any other circumstances I’d probably be jumping for joy that Sanzo is sitting on top of me but this could not have come at a worse time.

“Meow”

Gojyo held his breath, not daring to move as that laser-like gaze traveled down his prostrated body.

The redhead nearly burst out laughing at the look of mortification on the monk’s face before the blonde realized the movement was too high for it to be that.

“Sorry to disappoint you Sanzo, but my dick doesn‘t meow.” the blonde head jerked back up, eyes igniting with anger again as Gojyo shook with mirth.

“Meow”

The bundle shifted again and moved higher on the kappa’s chest. Gojyo could only sigh in defeat when Sanzo released his arms and resolutely set about stripping open his jacket.

The shocked pause made his lips twitch in amusement.

“What the-”

“I wasn’t gonna let him die of cold and starvation, okay?”

“You-”

Gojyo reached up and clapped a hand over the monk’s mouth stopping the furious tirade.

“Would you just shut up and listen for a minute? Ow!” crimson eyes widened and he jerked his hand back as teeth sunk viciously into his palm. “What the hell was that for you bastard!?”

Sanzo wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and glared at the redhead. “What are you going to do with him!? You can’t expect to keep him with us.”

Gojyo sighed and glanced down at the tiny kitten that had walked up to his chest and now blinked questioningly at him with innocent sapphire eyes.

“Meow”

The half-demon smiled at the feline, reaching out to run a hand gently down his head. The kitten purred and nudged his nose against the warm neck near him.

When the redhead had gone to search for the other demons in the forest he’d made a point to stop by the tree and get the kitten on his way back. After that he’d found his way into town and had gone to look for someone who might know how to care for it properly.

Sanzo sighed impatiently and Gojyo finally lifted his eyes to meet those amethyst jewels. “I’m not gonna keep him Sanzo, I’m not stupid. But I’m sure we could find someone here who would love to have him - look at how tame he is and he’s cute. Chicks’ll love him.”

The blonde frowned considering then nodded. “Fine but he stays in this town, got it? He wont go any farther with us.”

“Yeah, yeah, I know.”

The kitten gave a tired yawn and wandered off to the head of the bed, nestling against the pillows.

Gojyo smiled when he saw Sanzo’s eyes thaw the slightest bit and daringly reached a hand up to cup a soft, milky perfect cheek.

Shock flooded that hooded gaze and Sanzo’s eyes jerked abruptly back to Gojyo’s face. The redhead smirked at the uncertainty he read there before it was shuttered, his hand slapped away and the ice lodged firmly back in place.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” That frigid voice made goosebumps rise on the demon’s skin but he’d never been particularly bright so he persisted.

His hands clasped the monk’s hips, settling that weight more firmly in his lap and if the widening of those eyes was any indication Gojyo would bet a year’s worth of cigarettes that the monk had forgotten where he was sitting. Or on whom.

The blonde reared back with a snarl of fury, clawing at the redhead’s hands but Gojyo held firm - refusing to let the monk escape - knowing there would be no other opportunities if he let this one slip by him.

“Damn it, would you stop that!?” the playboy yelled, cursing loudly as short blunt nails dug into his skin, porcelain fingers frantically trying to peel his arms away.

Gojyo released the blonde’s waist and grabbed at the hands attempting to shred his skin, turning and pressing them into the mattress and rolling on top of the livid monk.

“Calm down, Sanzo! Fuck, it’s not like I’m gonna do anything to you.” Violet eyes narrowed, disbelieving and Gojyo grinned at the skeptical blonde disarmingly, “nothing you don’t want,” he corrected silkily.

The blonde snorted but momentarily stopped fighting - in a contest of brute strength he knew the half-demon would win every time. Didn’t mean he couldn’t outsmart him though.

Gojyo hid a smile as he shifted his grip on the now lax monk. He’d been traveling with the blonde for several years and wasn‘t going to be fooled into thinking the violet-eyed man had given in so easily. Sanzo really ought to give him more credit, he thought, slightly affronted.

He shifted his glance quickly to the kitten but it had only bounded over to the nightstand and then leapt onto the other bed at the disturbance. Gojyo smiled in delight. Perfect.

“GET. OFF.”

The redhead’s gaze settled on the fuming monk once again and he grinned at the biting tone. Violet eyes had followed his gaze and the monk had gone instantly rigid - it didn’t take a genius to figure out what the perverted kappa was thinking.

“No, I don’t think I will. I’m very comfortable where I am right now.”

Gojyo shifted and dropped his head closer to the blonde - their lips inches away and settled more snugly against the monk. Violet eyes spat fire but Sanzo refrained from hurling every insult he knew at the kappa - the redhead would probably get bored if he realized Sanzo wasn’t going to play games with him, he‘d just have to wait him out.

“Nothing to say? Mmmm . . . I must be losing my touch. How about I liven things up?”

Gojyo lowered his head eagerly and sighed as his lips finally touched those rosy petals he’d been wanting to nibble on since he’d first caught sight of Sanzo. Lips like that just weren‘t suppose to belong to guys.

He brushed them with his, softly, not hurrying, reveling in the supple downy texture. Crimson eyes slit open to glimpse heavy eyelids falling over beautiful amethyst and gave a grunt of satisfaction.

“See? Nothing you don’t want, but you do want this,” he whispered huskily, lips brushing against the blonde’s with every word.

Closing the gap between them once more, he pried open those lips with his own - tongue seeking entrance between pearly teeth, groaning when access was reluctantly granted and he swept inside, hot and feverish and needing to know all that was Sanzo.

The blonde moaned helplessly beneath him as an ardent tongue tangled passionately with his. Quick and agile, it darted in his mouth - tasting, licking, conquering.

The redhead slipped a knee between their bodies and nudged the blonde’s legs apart while he distracted him with kisses - settling his hips in the cradle of monk’s body. He licked a hot trail down the pale column of Sanzo’s neck, dizzy with the knowledge that he was holding the blonde in his arms, that there was no going back. His length strained insistently against his jeans and he felt the heat of Sanzo’s hardening cock twitching against him.

Reaching between their bodies, he pressed a knowing hand against the bulge in the monk’s robes and squeezed.

“Gojyo!” violet eyes flew open and the blonde gasped and writhed, thrusting up, needing more pressure, more friction - lost in a haze of lust.

“Shh.” reddened lips pressed to Sanzo’s, muffling the moans coming from the monk, not wanting to be interrupted. He nipped softly at the lips, then soothed them with a hot tongue, pressing quick searing kisses on that flawless countenance.

“Gojyo,” the blonde groaned, “Gojyo, let my hands go.”

The redhead complied and immediately those limbs inserted themselves between their bodies and pushed the kappa away.

Gojyo lay sprawled against the bed where he’d been shoved - dazed, disbelieving that Sanzo had called a halt to their activities, heart clenching . . . until he noticed the blonde stand and jerk his robe over his head, pulling his shirt from his pants and unbuttoning his jeans - the rest of his clothes quickly followed.

Gojyo could only stare, stunned and speechless at the sight of the monk completely unrobed and bathed in moonlight. Hair washed a lustrous pearl white and his skin appearing otherworldly fluorescent.

“Well? Aren’t you going to take your clothes off?”

The redhead could only swallow and nod, getting off the bed slowly, not daring yet to touch the vision of beauty before him. What had made him think he could have this? Sanzo was far too beautiful for the likes of him - too pure and untainted despite the bloody trail left in his wake. Once undressed he hesitated.

Violet eyes gleamed in the light and narrowed as Sanzo read the thoughts of the kappa as they crossed his face. His arms shot forward to wrap around broad shoulders - flushing their bodies close making them both moan at the feel of flesh meeting flesh - and fused their mouths together.

“I’m nothing special,” he murmured against firm lips, meeting heated crimson eyes, “Your hair, your eyes - these don’t taint you, Gojyo.”

Scarlet eyes drowned in amethyst for an eternity before the redhead swallowed hard, throat working as he tried to speak - gave up and instead wrapped the priest in a fierce embrace, rocking them gently, feeling the monk’s hardness press into his thigh and his own twitch against the monk’s belly.

“You’re still prettier,” he whispered, teasing, as he lowered his head to claim those moistened lips - quickly probing deep into Sanzo, finding no resistance this time only a passion that matched his own. An electric heat, always present between them, and that had too swiftly flared out of control and it burned brightly - a living inferno between them.

Gojyo pulled back, ignoring the wordless protest from Sanzo, reaching up and grasping a marble chin until violet eyes opened. “Sanzo, you know where this is going don’t you?” he asked. For all his insistence earlier that this was happening, he wouldn’t allow this to go any further without the monk’s express consent.

The blonde glared at him and frowned. A pale hand dropped to Gojyo’s cock and long elegant fingers wrapped around the hard shaft, running the length, alternately squeezing and stroking.

Gojyo chocked and pulled Sanzo closer wrapping his arms more tightly around the monk, moaning at the feel of those cool skillful fingers against his burning flesh, milking him.

“You’re going to fuck me, right?”

What!?

Gojyo jerked back, relieved that nothing was chafed at the sudden yank, and stared down in shock at the blond.

“What?”

Sanzo sighed and brought his hand up licking the near translucent pearly trails of white fluid from his fingers. Gojyo’s brain short circuited. In fact, he forgot to breathe all-together, the only appendage that still seemed to be working was his cock which throbbed rather painfully. Who the hell knew His Holiness would be such a tease.

“I haven’t fucked anyone, kappa, I don‘t know for sure what to do - especially between men.”

Gojyo nodded solemnly though he was relieved - he’d been wondering if Sanzo would be willing to bottom and he wasn’t sure he’d been ready to do so. It’s not like he had any experience with gay sex.

Violet eyes glittered and Sanzo reached up to tangle fingers in crimson hair and drag that stubborn mouth down to his, “don’t think it’s always going to be this way, I’ll be on top soon enough,” Sanzo whispered before meshing their lips together.

Gojyo lost his breath, too concentrated on savoring every taste of Sanzo he could get.

So Sanzo wanted to top - whatever - he’d be happy with what he could get. It wasn’t that long ago he’d thought he didn’t stand a chance with Sanzo - not something he would normally have lost any sleep over. There’d been other times in his life when he couldn’t have someone. He simply moved on, pining wasn’t his style.

Except that somewhere along the road he’d become overconfident, allowed himself to get too comfortable with the monk, and then been blindsided when he’d realized (more like it’d been shoved down his throat) that what he felt for the blonde was too intense, too powerful to be simple camaraderie. Lust, Gojyo could deal with, but he’d never been in love and it had proved too much for him to control. Now he would take whatever Sanzo was willing to give because it was better than not having any part of the blond at all. And for this night at least, the priest would be his and if Sanzo regretted what they did in the stark light of day he’d at least have his stored memories to keep him company in the evenings. Yes, I’ll at least have that.

“Whatever you want monk.”

He pushed the blonde back onto the bed and stood there for a minute, motionless, gazing down at the vision of the monk sprawled on his bed wantonly - wanting to drink as much as he could of the sight: Sanzo laying back, legs spread, cock jutting proudly - the head an angry red and glistening with pearly drops of fluid, lips reddened and moist, face flushed a dusky hue and violet eyes burning with desire.

The redhead licked his suddenly too-dry lips, knowing now that he would only find satiation in the oasis of Sanzo’s kiss.

“Oh yes,” he whispered hoarsely, “I’m going to fuck you.”

* * * * *

Gojyo sighed with contentment, running gentle hands over creamy skin burnished with sweat.

“Why did you bother with it anyway?” the monk asked, glancing over at the other bed where the kitten lay, sleeping unperturbed.

Gojyo nudged his nose against the blonde’s tummy, delighting in feeling it quiver under his caress, his tongue dipping into the indent of Sanzo’s navel.

“Gojyo,” the blonde’s gravelly husk made his spent cock twitch and Gojyo growled, pressing closer. Although, to be fair, the blonde didn’t need to do much to get Gojyo’s dick waving excitedly - breathing seemed to work just fine.

“Mmmm. Delicious,” the demon rumbled, nipping gently at skin the color and velvety texture of magnolias. He dropped tender kisses on sensitized flesh making the monk gasp and arch into his touch.

“Because of you.”

“ . . . huh?”

Gojyo smirked at the sight of his kitten blinking owlishly at him, desire blanking his gaze.

“I couldn’t leave him because he reminded me too much of you. That golden head, those big blue eyes, that fighting spirit - his gracefulness, not to mention that stubborn streak. After I got here I tried dropping him off somewhere he’d be safe but he kept following me. I finally gave up and brought him here with me. I couldn‘t leave him in the rain to die.”

“You’re as bad as Goku. Your brains are probably the same size too.”

Gojyo growled and rolled to pin Sanzo underneath him, using one knee to part the monk’s thighs and press his hips close to the other’s - leaving no room to navigate between them. “Oh, I don’t know about that. I’d like to think there’s at least one big difference between us.”

Sanzo raised a skeptical brow glancing down between their bodies, “Oh? You’re over exaggerating wouldn’t you say? The difference can’t be all that big.”

Gojyo growled, glaring at the monk, then abruptly stopped and smiled wickedly. “I think I need to remind you just how big a difference there is,” he murmured huskily, grinding into Sanzo and feeling the monk’s cock stir and grow. Hearing him mewl softly.

The blond bit his lip, trying to catch his breath, violet eyes glinting with humor.

“It looks like you’ll have to do it more than once. I have a short memory.”

Was that unnecessarily sappy? Yes, I thought so ^_^’ Anyway I tried to keep the story within character - hope I pulled it off.

‘Till next time.
