"My, this is a perfect day for traveling, isn't it?" Hakkai inquired as they began to drive up a well-worn path to the top of the mountain. Gojyo kicked Goku and Goku looked at him.

"Stop that," he said.

"Quick pushing me then. I need leg room. I'm taller than you," Gojyo said.

"You'd think all those cigarettes that you smoke would make you short."

"What the hell are you spouting off about?"

"Don't they make you short?"

"No."

"What do they do then?"

"Makes me relaxed when I'm around chicks. I can't be cool if I'm nervous."

"You are so perverted."

"I know."

"And he's happy that way," Hakkai said and Gojyo grinned.

"Damned right."

"So what are you going to do once you've rescued this woman? Give up your wild ways?" Sanzo asked as he took a cigarette from the package that Gojyo was holding.

"I guess I'd have to, wouldn't I? I mean, I can do what I want now `cause I've got no one I want to dedicate my life to."

"So are you gonna marry her?" Goku asked and Gojyo shrugged his shoulders.

"I dunno. I guess we just have to wait and see, won't we?" he asked and Goku looked thoughtful.

"If you do marry her and you have kids, what will they be like? Will they be mixed like you or will they be a full human or a full youkai?"

"Someone's been thinking too hard for their small brain."

"Goku's question does present a lot of speculation, doesn't it?" Hakkai asked.

"Geez, I say I kinda like a girl and you all are thinking about children. What are you? A group of matchmakers or something?" Gojyo asked and Hakkai smiled.

"Merely making conversation. Miss Rianna seems to be a wonderful girl although your rouge attitude may be a bit too much for her."

"Was that an insult?"

"She is, if you recall, of royal blood. You, are merely a commoner. That may be the reason why we have met so much resistance when we arrived in this part of the country. The demon king may be trying to keep you at bay."

"I don't want a damned princess. I want her. I want the chick I stopped from killing herself. Hey...those youkai back then. You don't think that they...?"

"I believe they were King Rynna's men. He's been searching for her for a long time. For what purpose, I do not know, but I am sure that it isn't honorable."

"Rianna's aunt said that her mother was killed by youkai. Was King Rynna behind that as well?"

"I believe so."

"He's not a very nice father, is he? Aren't fathers supposed to be nice? Aren't they supposed to teach you things and be fair with you?" Goku asked.

"There is no set guidelines for fathers, Goku," Hakkai said.

"I don't care who it is but no one should use a beautiful chick like that for some demented purpose," Gojyo said.

"Yet this sort of thing goes on every day."

"There's a lot of people out there that are sicker than I am."

"How can you be sure?" Goku asked.

"Shut up dumbass!"

"Who you calling dumb, you kappa?"

"Don't call me that!"

"Don't call me dumbass then! Cockroach!"

"What a wonderful day for a ride, isn't it?" Hakkai commented as the row in the back seat continued. Sanzo's eyebrow twitched and he swiftly rapped the two of them across the head with his fan.

"Shut up!! Both of you!!" he commanded .

"Ow! I didn't do it! He started it!" Goku protested.

"Quit complaining. I got hit too," Gojyo said and Hakkai smiled.

"Nothing changes, does it?"
