Rianna was led out of the castle by the palace guard late that night. He hid her in a small shack in the middle of the forest and covered the shack with brush. He promised her that he would tell Gojyo of her location as soon as he arrived. She had grudgingly given the guard the ring that Gojyo had given to her in order to ensure that Gojyo would believe the guard and not kill him out of anger.

She sat down in the wooden chair and sighed. She wondered what he would do when he finally reached her. He would probably tightly embrace her and kiss her passionately. She would feel his silken tongue in her mouth as he expertly ran his hands over her body. She knew she would give herself completely to him and he would take her to an elegant bed and take her clothes off...she flushed slightly at the thought. It seemed silly to her to fantasize about it but she had missed him so. She wanted to pretend that the moment was now instead of in the future.

He looked so beautiful without his clothing. She wished that he was with her that moment as she thought about his beautiful slender, but muscular body. She thought of his crimson scars that lay just beneath his left eye and sighed. They had been the scars of his mother, forever signifying the love and the hate that she held for her son. She ran her fingers through her own crimson hair, feeling the emotions that she knew he must have felt when his mother had tried to kill him.

She had been so upset when she had first met him. She remembered his words about hating to see women cry. She knew that it came from his mother. She knew that his dislike for a woman's tears came from when his mother had tried to murder him. She never knew what had stopped his mother from killing him but she knew that that memory must be equally painful. He hadn't told her much during their short time together. He just echoed her feelings of being persecuted and shut out of society and those echoes meant the world to her.

Before she had met him, she had thought that she was the only one condemned to wander, unwanted through a world of human and youkai. But there he was, suffering just as much as she had been and he had found friends. Comrades at least, she supposed, for the way they acted when she was around them didn't seem to be the actions of friends. She wasn't sure, however, for she had never experienced an actual friendship due to her hair and eye color.

She loved Goku, however, even though the others thought of him as some sort of monkey. His childish antics really made her feel better, even though Gojyo had seen him as a nuisance. She had welcomed his presence. She had welcomed all of their presence. Each one of them except for perhaps Sanzo, had made her feel welcomed and she thanked them for it. Hakkai especially, for he had the patience to explain the others to her. She was the most grateful to Gojyo, for obvious reasons.

It wasn't the intimacy that she thanked him for, although she was highly looking forward to sleeping with him once again, it was his ability to listen and understand everything that she had been through. Never had that happened before and she knew that it would never happen again. She closed her eyes and laid her hands across her chest as she once again thought of what he would do with her when they met up with each other again.

She wanted so much for the evening of the third day to come as she listened to the sounds of the forest. All of her hell had been a result of her father's desire for immortality. She wanted to be as far away from him as possible. She wanted to run away with the only man that could understand her. She wanted to wait peacefully for him to return to him when his journey was over. She didn't want her royal name. She didn't want the riches that her father had. All she wanted was Gojyo and she wanted him to come soon...
