Authors note : This short story became longer than intended. Sorry for not updating sooner. I wanted a good ending for Gpjyo and Hakkai but couldn't help myself on giving them longer angst moment. Do enjoy. Review & comments appreciated.

 

Since traveling together this was the most silent breakfast they had. Sanzo should be satisfied enough that he didn't have to brandish his fan or waste his bullet. Goku can eat without any snide remark from the kappa. Hakkai finally had his peace and quite that he yearned. And Gojyo can eat peacefully without worrying Goku stealing his food.

 

It was most uncomfortable and tense meal they ever had together.

 

Sanzo ~

 

For all the noise these two moron made last night, I thought they would be less annoying. What the hell happen? Do I have to shoot one of them dead to get a response? What these two wants anyway?

 

Goku ~

 

Oh Sanzo is really pissed. Somebody gonna get killed.

 

Hakkai ~

 

You're going to keep quite, aren't you Gojyo? After reading my journal, my personal thoughts, you're going to just let it go?

 

What do you expect me to say, you dumb stupid kappa?!

 

Gojyo ~

 

Damnit Hakkai! You took my BOOK and you're just going to sit there and say NOTHING?!

 

You're my best friend! I couldn't believe you did this to me. Do you think I'm so pathetic that … that … I couldn't handle my own feeling. That YOU just had to SAVE me!

 

What do you want me to say? Thank you, sensei … for giving your ass!

 

Your sweet sexy … DAMN!

 

Hakkai ~

 

I've been killing myself over my own feeling for you. You know now. But why are you still silent? Can't take it, Gojyo? Can't take how I feel about you?

 

So what now? The roll in the hay just got complicated and you want to run away. Where are you going to go?

 

I'm such an idiot…

 

Gojyo ~

 

I'm so stupid.

 

Sanzo ~

 

Morons.

 

Goku ~

 

Huh? Did I hear Sanzo say something?

 

Hakkai ~

 

What now, Gojyo? I still love you ….

Tell me…what I'm going to do?

 

Gojyo ~

 

What now, Hakkai? I still in deep shit. I can't just forget it and let this thing go.

 

Hakkai, tell me something. Just tell me anything.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

 

Both Goku and Gojyo jumped. Hakkai didn't react because he thought Sanzo would never use the gun on him. But the smoking hole just below his seat made him forgot his usual diplomatic smile. He put his cup of tea slowly on the table.

 

“Ano, Sanzo…”

 

“WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE TWO OF YOU?!”

 

Sanzo roared his frustration towards the two guys. Ironically, he's still pointing his gun at Goku; who have no idea whats's going on. And as Goku is Goku he just had to point that matter out.

 

“Two? Why you shoot at me too?!”

 

“BECAUSE YOU'RE AN IDIOT!”

 

“That just ain't fair…”

 

“SHUT UP!”

 

Silent.

 

To Sanzo surprise Goku actually kept quite and didn't even look up at him. So he lowers his gun and tucks it back into his robe. From the corner of his eyes he sees his ward miserably munching a piece of bread. The usual twinge of guilt crept up to him as he realize once more he was being unfair to Goku. Not that he'll ever admit to that.

 

“Goku.”

 

“Eh?” Goku raise his face. Not actually to his name being called but more to the tone of voice Sanzo is using.

 

“We'll eat our breakfast in our room. Go order anything and sent to our room.”

 

“Anything?” The downcast face brightens up. Goku didn't wait for an answer as he scramble to his feet and runs off.

 

“Tch…why do I have to keep a forever starving monkey with me?” Sanzo turns to walks off but at the door he pauses.

 

“And I want you two morons to settle whatever it is between you two…before we leave.” And before Gojyo could say something, Sanzo clicks his gun.

 

“Or I'm going to kill both of you for Goku's food supply.”

 

As the door to the private dining room closes with a deafening sound, silent settles. So does the feeling of growing uneasiness. Gojyo reaches for his cigarettes and light up. While Hakkai reaches for his cup of tea and sipping it slowly.

 

For a time, they're both embarrassed that somehow Sanzo found out about them. Several questions came up. How did Sanzo found out?

 

Did Hakkai said something?

 

Did Gojyo said something?

 

Complex, angry thoughts swirls in their heads but neither voices it out. Another sense of betrayal settles over them. Then their thought runs to the present situation. Each wanted the other to say something first. Each thought that the other should say something.

 

So after more than ten minutes of complete tense silent, Gojyo talks first.

 

“I'm going to my room.”

 

Hakkai pretends to find the piece of cupcakes he is holding very interesting though tremors runs through him. He shrugs without looking up at Gojyo.

 

“Oh…ok, Gojyo. I'll finish my breakfast here.”

 

Gojyo felt like he wanted to throw his coffee at Hakkai but he checked himself quickly. Taking a deep breath he calmly responded with a shrug of his own.

 

“Yeah…enjoy your breakfast.” He got up and walks off.

 

And as the door closes again, Hakkai puts his head on the table. He could feel his journal that he kept in his shirt and he hugs it tightly. He had wanted to confront Gojyo about the journal but somehow it just doesn't turn up that way.

 

“Hakkai, you idiot.”

 

Outside, Gojyo lean at the door with his right palm covering his face. The other grasp the journal that he tucks into his shirt. He wanted to go back into the room and throw the journal to Hakkai's face. But he don't think he could stand it if Hakkai just said …I did it for you as a friend. He would probably breaks down right there.

 

As he finally moves away, he mumbles angrily to himself.

 

“Gojyo, you idiot.”

“Sanzo, what's up with those two?” Goku murmured as he laid his head on Sanzo's chest; hearing his keeper heart beating slowly. They are still fully clothed as they curled up together on Sanzo's bed. Goku had wanted to go all the way but Sanzo stopped him as they had ordered some food and it will be sent to the room soon.

 

So Goku had to content on just resting on Sanzo after the sudden heated kiss they had shared.

 

Earlier when they entered the room and the door closed with a thud, Sanzo just grabbed him and kissed him passionately. It surprised Goku but it didn't take him long to respond as usual. He refused to think why. Probably it had something to do with Sanzo screaming at him for no good reason just now.

 

“Sanzo?”

 

“Will you just shut up for one moment?” Sanzo tried to put some annoyance in his voice but just couldn't make it. Touching and kissing Goku had always somehow mellowed him down. He couldn't even get himself to be annoyed at himself.

 

Wisely enough, Goku stopped asking. But it disturbed him somehow. Those two were suppose to be more matured than him. Yet he had no problem with Sanzo. He loves Sanzo. He had always love Sanzo. And didn't feel any reason why he shouldn't show his love for Sanzo. And Sanzo didn't stop him.

 

Yet somehow, until now, those two are oblivious that he and Sanzo are actually lovers. Goku had thought of announcing it but felt that was a stupid idea. Surely, if not Gojyo, Hakkai would've noticed something between him and Sanzo. But till this day, Hakkai still viewed him as the boy he first met. Sanzo's student, pet or anything but a lover.

 

Not that he have any problem being Sanzo's pet.

 

A smile crept onto his face and as always even without looking Sanzo noticed.

 

“What are you thinking monkey?”

 

“Haraheta.I'm hungry.”

 

Sanzo sighed and run his fingers through Goku's hair.

 

“They'll be here in a minute.”

 

“But I'm hungry now.” Goku whined as wriggled himself closer. His hands crept over Sanzo's waist and squeezed gently.

 

And before Sanzo could say anything, Goku fingers deftly move to his zipper and slide it down; digging for a semi hard muscle. A groan escaped from Sanzo as he instinctively buck his hip upward.

 

“Sanzo, give me something else to eat?”

 

The fingers surrounding his member are strong and insistent. Stroking blood to the center making it rock hard in seconds. Sanzo tried to find some reason to push off Goku but instead he pushed Goku's head down.

 

And when that wet mouth envelop his hard member, Sanzo just surrendered himself to the heat. But a wry smile formed on his lips as he thought of himself actually feeding Goku when he had been escaping all his life from youkai who wanted to eat him.

 

And he is stuck with a youkai monkey who had not eaten for 500 years.

 

Great…
