Ch 2: Secrets that need to be revealed

Gingi and Ban had rescued a little boy from his abusive mother. Ginji found the mother dead and electrocuted her corpse. He called Ban from outside who was smoking to see the young boy. Ban yelled at Ginji and told him to bring the child into the car. Ban has no idea that the child is Ginji.

Ginji, Ban, and, the child drove back to the Honky Tonk Café. Ban ordered the little boy a ham cheese sandwich. The boy stared at Ban and began eating while Ban and Ginji talked. Ginji dragged Ban to a booth by the window. “Ban what are we going to do w/ the child?” Ban rolled his eyes and smacked his mouth. “You can go home and take a nap and I'll take him to a shelter for orphans.” Ginji sadly agreed and went said goodbye to the kid and went home. While he drove home he thought of the little kid and how he loved being around other children. After Ginji opened the door he threw his clothes off and ran to the bathroom. Ginji decided to take a shower; he was dirty form all the blood and dirt from that morning. The warm water ran over Ginji's rough skin. His tense muscles started to relax. The water felt so soothing that Ginji started to stay there the whole night. After he came from the shower, Ginji went to the kitchen and heated up a Stouffers TV dinner. While eating he couldn't stop thinking about that dam kid. He thought how the child was the sinister yet so innocent half of himself. He reminisced about his electrical powers and how they got out of control, when he became angry.

He remembered seeing piles of dead bodies on, fumes of rotten flesh consumed the streets of Babylon. Images of children that were beaten to death by gangs pounded his head. The boy, who was a smaller version of him, could be deadly if not watched. But he wouldn't kill anyone, he was just a child. He was raitei. The lightning emperor, after ginji finished day dreaming, he finished eating and went to bed.

A terrible dream

Ginji awoke to the smell of blood. When he opened his eyes he was surrounded by skeletons. “Am I in hell?” He got up and roamed the area. He was in a large temple. All he saw were long hall ways leading to no where. He walked around for thirty minutes and finally gave up. He had just sat down on a sofa when he heard laughing. Ginji thought he was hearing things and back down. 5 minutes passed and he heard nothing. He opened a near by window; when he heard the laughing again. Ginji quickly followed the sound and came to a dark door. The hinges on the door were rusted and old. The knob was smashed in so he couldn't open it. He was going to turn around and leave when he heard that horrid laugh. I T sounded as if someone was watching life leave an innocent soul. The door slowly eased open and what ginji witnessed made him want to die. The little boy was holding his best friends throat. He stared at Ban as though he was nothing bit an annoying insect that needed to be killed right away. He looked at Ginji. “I expected you to take care of me. But you threw me away and let me rot in a foster home in hell. They beat me and kids called me names like weirdo, and freak.” Tears began to well up in raitie's eyes as he continued w/ his story. “I wanted you to take care of me Ginji but you didn't care what that son of a bitch said. You always follow Bans rules cuz he's the boss.” Ginji began to cry of guilt and pain. I'm sorry raitei, I didn't know those bastards did that to you, why didn't you say something?” “Because you asshole, Ban nor you wanted me. So I decided to put on a façade and fake living in a hell hole.” “Whenever Ban looked at me was with a disgusted expression.” “Now it's his turn to rot in hell.” Ginji ran towards them in an effort to save Ban. Raitei threw a shock that paralyzed his body. “Fuck! Why can't I move?” He thought, while watching Ban. Ban looked at Ginji and smiled. He spoke in a whispering tone “Do me a favor will ya?” “Anything Ban what do you want?” Ginji said while crying. “When I die making sure this shit- hole dies a horrible death.” “No problem.” Ginji said as he closed his eyes. Raitei's grin wavered. “The only one who will die is you.” He screamed, and with that; he opened Ban's mouth, inserted four of his fingers and sent surges of electricity down Ban's body. Ban screamed as he felt his body fill up w/ fire. His eyes popped out of his face, his body swelled up and his internal organs came flying everywhere. When Ginji opened his hand Ban's eye socket was moving around. Ginji fell to his knees and screamed in pain. “ Raitei you, son of a bitch. I swear on my life, you will pay for this.” Ginji looked up and raitei saw his eyes, they were blood shot red. A tinge if fear crept over raitei. He wouldn't allow ginji to see it. Ginji awoke screaming. His body was drenched in sweat. He had to tell Ban the truth before it was too late. Otherwise the only thing Ginji would find left of Ban was his heart.
