That night, Tohma had decided to take the whole band out to some big name bar, along with a bunch of other big name celebrities. It was a celebration, in honor of how successful their first concert in months had been. The party had lasted long into the night, with alcohol flowing freely and eventually it got to the point where the party goers were intoxicated enough to think they were close, close enough to tell embarrassing stories.

Well, Taki wasn’t among those. He tended to restrict himself to one or two drinks around strangers, making it look like he had drunk more. It gave him the freedom to listen to what others were saying and make mental notes that he could use later. Tonight he was a little buzzed, but still alert, which was about to prove unfortunate.

The conversation had turned towards sex and was getting kinda raunchy. Particularly the tale a young actress was telling, which seemed to be centered around some strange lesbian menage de trios. The girl had been talking animatedly to Tohma who was happily lapping up every word, obviously smashed. “So Seguchi-san, who was your first?” Everyone in the room grew quiet, wondering what the mysterious Tohma would say. Taki was paying especially close attention, even though he knew it was none of his business.

Tohma smirked, his lips hovering above his glass. “My wife of course.” At that, the room exploded into laughter as no one believed him. Taki was the only one not laughing, even though he was among the disbelievers. “Well, she wasn’t my wife then.” The room fell silent, realizing that he was indeed serious. “It was in my car, back when Nittle Grasper was just beginning become a force. We had gone out dancing but left early because we found it to be a boring place. We were having a normal conversation, when Mika asked me if I wanted to lose my virginity, because she really, really wanted to. So I say yes.”

The audience was now rapt, except for Taki who had downed his whole drink and was now asking the bartender for another. “The moonlight was streaming in through the car windows and I remember how her skin glowed, like ivory. She had the most beautiful breasts. Like a Greek sculpture come to life.” Taki had to conclude that Tohma was absolutely drunk at this point to be telling such a story.

“Was it good?” A young man piped in, the gleam in his eyes indicating that he was a little too into the story.

“Amazing.” Tohma leaned back in his chair, a satisfied look on his face as he finished off his glass.

The actress leaned in closer to him, seemingly disappointed by how mundane this first experience sounded. “So, you have ever been with a guy?”

Tohma smirked as if that question was perfectly normal. “If you are referring to those rumors about me and my dear friend Ryuichi, I can assure that they are groundless. That time up on stage was gift to our fans, that’s all. Otherwise no, I don‘t sleep with men, though if one was to catch my interest…” The bartender poured him yet another scotch, which Tohma immediately downed. Taki did the same, trying to remind himself that Tohma had good reasons to lie about his preferences and that once again, it wasn’t his business.

The audience seemed a little skeptical, particularly the actress who had asked the question. “Your wife wasn’t jealous?”

It was possible that Tohma had become even more smug than before. “No. In fact, when we went on our honeymoon, she showed me just how grateful she was. I think she made me come at least three times that night.”

“Really?”

“Yes. My wife is a gorgeous woman after all.” Tohma’s face was a little flush now and had a really goofy smile on. It was probably just because he was drunk, not because he was bragging about his sex life, but it was bugging the hell out of Taki. “She has beautiful breasts.” Tohma’s voice had become lower and huskier. “So nice and soft…” Taki didn’t hear the rest because he got up and left.

Okay was it really that big a deal? He knew Tohma was married and of course that meant there was someone else he had sex with. Though he guessed he hadn’t thought about it much, except to wonder how he could be married, since he seemed so incredibly gay. So gay that any woman should be able to detect it and thus be sufficiently repelled.

“Where are you going?” He looked back to see Tohma had followed him out and was leaning against the doorway for support, slouching slightly, his pale face flushed from intoxication.

“Home.” He didn’t move though, a little in awe at the person in front of him right now. He had seen Tohma when he was lustful and when he was angry, but never intoxicated. It was both disturbing and a little gratifying to know that Tohma wasn’t completely invincible.

Tohma came up to him and looked at him curiously. “Did something happen? Because I can speak with who ever did it. We can’t have one of our musicians being insulted, now can we?” There was a slight slur to Tohma’s voice, which was kinda of amusing to Taki, but not enough to make what was said less irritating.

The younger man shrugged. “Nothing happened. It just got stuffy in there.” He pulled at his shirt collar as if to emphasize the point.

“Okay. I’ll come with you then.” Tohma slapped a hand on Taki’s back good naturedly, like they were pals.

“You should stay. You’re the one who took us there.” No way was he going anywhere with Tohma when he was this drunk. He couldn’t even imagine what the older man might do to him in this state and he wasn’t about to find out.

“No!” Tohma hugged him tightly around the waist. “Don’t leave me alone with those people. They were asking me perverted questions.”

“And you were answering them!” Taki shouted at him, shoving him away.

“Because I don‘t like being the spoil sport in those situations. And it‘s fun being part of the group.” Tohma looked up at him coyly. “I could talk about us instead. I bet you’d like that since you‘d be included in the conversation. I know how vain you are.“ He smiled slyly, making Taki wonder if the older man was as drunk as he appeared.

Taki sighed and grabbed him by the wrist and began to drag him away from the club. “Nobody wants to hear your sick stories.”

Tohma glomped onto him, grinning. “Where are you going to take me? Someone where nice I hope?”

“Yeah, it’s a good place. Nice and comfy.” Or rather, he was going to dump the older man in the limo he had come in and let the driver take it from there.

“I’m glad. I thought you were really mad at me.”

“Well I wasn’t.” Actually, he was furious. He really didn’t like the way Tohma was trying to get under his skin lately. It was, unpleasant to say the least, because it meant the older man thought it should effect him. And it was.

“I wasn’t trying to. I mean, you knew I had a wife, right?”

“Yes.” Taki hissed as he continued hauling the inebriated man towards his limo.

“Because I do. I’m a happily married man.” Tohma sounded proud of himself, in a childish sort of way.

“Despite what you do with me.” Disgusting hypocrite.

Tohma‘s gaze seemed to harden for a moment. “Yes.”

“Yeah keep telling yourself that, you freak.” They had finally reached the limo and Taki opened the door and shoved Tohma inside. He then slammed the door shut and started to stalk off.

“Bye-Bye!” Taki looked back to see Tohma hanging out of the now open car window, waving. He rolled his eyes and continued walking, refusing to look at the hyper man. Hopefully Tohma had drunk enough that he’d kill a few brain cells and not remember this night. Taki was going to make sure he didn’t have any brain cells of his own left if he could help it. There was no way he was going to remember that he was jealous.
