Disclaimer:
I don’t own these characters. Otherwise, Taki would be in the series a whole lot more.

It had been hard to sleep lately, due to how annoying Tohma was being lately. Taki couldn’t really pinpoint why Tohma was suddenly more annoying then before, though the few theories he had, he kept locked away in his head, because he didn’t exactly like them. This particular night was hard, because he could feel a bit of a cold as well. Normally, the singer could endure anything, but any illness that messed with the quality of his voice always hammered him hard.

He’d called in sick and Tohma had been SO not amused. His voice on the phone had been the icy cold chill of death. It hadn’t stopped Taki from hanging up and then spending the rest of the day perfectly miserable, his throat aching and throbbing. And now that it was night, he was unable to sleep, even though his body screamed for it.

In desperation, he’d helped himself to some of the cold medicine in his cabinet. It was that foul tasting green stuff that was half alcohol. He could have gotten more out of a bottle of liquor. Still, he’d gotten the stuff for a purpose and had ended up taking it; much more than he should have in fact. And he also found some painkillers sitting next to bottle, left over from that accident which seemed long ago. He knew better than to mix medications, but then again, why not use them now? They had more of a kick then he expected though. As it started to affect his body, the door bell rang.

Grumbling to himself miserably, he trudged to the door and swung it open. “What the fucking hell do you want bastard! It’s a quarter to midnight!” When his eyes focused properly on the person who had dared knock on his door, he realized it was Tohma.

“I was concerned.” Tohma rolled his eyes at him, pushing past Taki into his apartment. Which was enough to nearly make Taki panic at first. Because Tohma had never set foot into his apartment. You could learn a lot about a man just by spending a minute in his own home. Tohma was going to find out too much about him.

“Get out. Get out now, now, now, now.” The medicine was affecting Taki quite strongly, and he would have gladly gone to bed, but he couldn’t when Tohma would be in the house, rifling through his things.

The keyboardist was scanning the place as he removed his coat and hat, which he set down on the couch. “It’s a nice enough place. Not as extravagant as I would have thought.”

“I’m a very sensible guy sometimes. Now out!”

Instead, Tohma walked up to him and grabbed Taki by the wrist. “How rude, when I’m just making sure you‘re okay.” Tohma began to drag him down the hallway. “Your bedroom is this way, right?”

“It’s a bedroom. Where else would it be?” The moment they were in the bedroom, Tohma began to remove his shirt. “You’d molest a man who was drugged?”

As he pulled the shirt over Taki‘s head, Tohma rolled his eyes. “Don’t equate me with you. I do have standards, regardless of the fact that I sleep with you.”

And the next thing they both knew, Taki had Tohma pinned down on the bed. They were both shocked until Taki recomposed himself, as much as was possible. Maybe it was the medicine, but the singer felt that it would be foolish to back off at this point. “Stop acting like you’re better than me. Being well groomed doesn’t change the fact that you’re a dog.”

“How dare-” Tohma’s protest was silenced as Taki kissed him roughly. Tohma shoved him off with all his strength, causing Taki to fall off the bed. “You…” Tohma hissed through his teeth as he scrambled off the bed.

“What did you really come here for?” Taki groaned as he struggled to his feet unsteadily. “You don’t really care if I’m sick or anything.”

There were a million implicit accusations in what Taki had said. “Of course I do.” And Tohma was going to deny every single one of them.

“Over a cold, Seguchi? Face it, you wanted some of this.” Taki smirked as he ran a hand down his bare chest, smirking at him.

“You‘re delirious. You probably have a fever as well.” Or maybe it was Tohma who was getting a little feverish, because his face was definitely burning up.

Taki seemed to notice as well, because the lopsided grin on his face widened. “Then why don’t you come take my temperature?”

It was definitely for the best that Tohma was so far away from him, because otherwise, he would have smacked Taki for saying something so cheesy. “You really think I’m that stupid?”

“Be kind Tohma and give a little pick me up.” This was definitely strange behavior, Taki actually asking for sex.

“Did you take any cold medicine?” Taki nodded, confirming Tohma’s suspicions. “How much?”

“Most of the bottle. And some pills that some doctor gave me for something-something.”

It was a disturbingly Taki-like thing to do, nearly overdosing on cold medicine and mixing it with other drugs. He reminded himself to go through the younger man‘s medicine cabinet before he left. “Go to bed Aizawa.” He walked towards Taki and grabbed him by his shoulders. He then started to lower him onto the bed.

Taki pulled Tohma down so that he was lying on top of him. “After sex.” He began to kiss him harder than he had before and the only reason Tohma was able to get away from him a second time was because of his own willpower and the fact that Taki wasn’t in the best of shape. Taki glared at him with a look of hurt and for some strange reason it was almost enough to make Tohma pity him.

“I promise that if you are a good boy and get plenty of rest, we will do whatever you want next time.” He regretted it the moment he uttered it, but Tohma Seguchi wasn’t the kind of person who ever went back on his word.

“You’ll let me top?”

Tohma cringed, regretting what he had said even more. “Yes, I’ll let you be on top. But, you have to rest. And from now on, no mixing medication. And no taking more than the recommended dose.”

“Alrighty. But you have to keep your promise.” Taki was looking up at him through heavily lidded eyes, like sleepy child.

“I’m a man of my word.” That seemed to satisfy him and Taki collapsed, falling asleep quickly. Tohma sighed to himself and went onto raid the medicine cabinet, which had cost him way too much.
