Gravitation Fan Fiction ❯ Attraction ❯ Chapter 1

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

Mmmm...New Gravi fic. Can you taste the yaoi goodness? Actually, I don’t know if I’ll make this into a lemon or not. Probably, but who knows? It is my first Gravitation story, but not my first fanfiction ever. Just so you know, this will take place after volume 12, but won’t take into account any of the new tracks being released. You should read them though. Maki Murakami is a complete genius. She owns Gravitation by the way. There’s your disclaimer. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I find the timeline in the manga hard to follow, so this takes place about two and a half years after Bad Luck gets signed. If that’s still during the manga, forgive me. And pretend it’s all okay. Well, I’ve babbled enough. Enjoy!

Attraction

By Courtney (aka MidnightsKeeper)

Suguru was confused.

Being the perfectionist that he was, he’d never really had time to worry about anything other than school, music, and making his parents happy. Dating wasn’t something he wasted time thinking about. It didn’t get you good grades and it didn’t get you into a good college. It wasn’t one of his parents many demands, so he put everything involving puberty, hormones, and urges in general to the back of his mind. He wasn’t very sociable anyway. Polite, yes; it was something his parents expected from their perfect son, but the people he socialized with were more acquaintances than anything else. He had assumed that he could deal with those things once he was out from under his parents extremely demanding roof.

Then Bad Luck happened. Suguru figured out early on that his life would never be normal again, and relationships took the backseat once more. The band put more stress in his already busy and stressful schedule and made school even more difficult. A private tutor was hired and what social interaction he did have was completely wiped out and even more time was spent doing things that normal sixteen-year-old boys didn’t do. It didn’t really bother him though because it was music and that was something he lived for. So he was more or less content if not a little overworked, but he didn’t mind because that’s what he was used to.

Then when he actually could move out and be on his own two years later, he threw himself even deeper into his work the more popular Bad Luck got. Suguru worked a lot. Relationships may have well as taken a permanent backseat.

So, despite being somewhat of a sex symbol throughout most of Japan, Suguru had no experience with sex or dating at all. He was still a virgin and had, in fact, never even had a first kiss. He knew he could get a girlfriend easy enough; there were hordes of screaming fangirls dying to get a piece of Bad Luck. He had just never really thought about it being very important. It had recently begun to bother him slightly, but only during those very rare moments when the band wasn’t doing much of anything.

As a result, Suguru didn’t think about it very often. Most of his time was spent thinking about things that involved work, music, and how to dodge the embarrassing publicity and occasional “warning shots” that seemed to follow his slightly unstable manager. He was hard work incarnate after all, and absolutely nothing would ever get done if he slacked off (at least according to himself ).

So, as far as relationships and dating and anything involving those troublesome hormones went, Suguru was ignorant for the most part. He did know from Shuichi that being in love turned you into an idiot (though he was convinced that was Shuichi’s natural state of being anyhow) and Hiro had been much the same when Ayaka had been in the picture. He figured he was much too busy to act like an idiot, so he would worry about a girlfriend when he had more time on his hands.

But then something had happened.

During a hasty getaway from K that had the members of Bad Luck scrambling over a wall to save their lives, Suguru had a little slip and was kept from breaking something by Hiro’s quick reflexes. Said reflexes had caused one of Hiro’s hands to land right on Suguru’s ass. No big really, just a catch and a push, but during that brief contact Suguru had felt a most delicious tingle low down in his belly. The gasp that Shuichi and Hiro assumed was from the fall was really a gasp of surprise and pleasure.

So, needless to say, Suguru was confused.

Wasn’t he straight?

Sorry for the shortness. Sometimes sudden inspiration works like that. Suguru/Hiro is one of my favorite pairings. We don’t have enough of those fics. If you like this pairing, write a fic for it! And leave me a review please! I need to know if you guys like it and if I should continue. Suggestions are welcome. Update due soon hopefully!
