Shuichi had a broken arm. Three broken rib cages. Bruised muscled. Torn ligaments. Internal bleeding which was stopped. And suffered from over 50 cuts all over his body. He had bruises from head to toe literally. Eiri didn't move from his bedside. At the moment he was hooked up to two IV's and had blood being transfered from a bag into his body. Besides his injuries he had lost a tremendous amount of blood almost two pints.
Shuichi shifted in bed as he heard some sort of sobbing. He opened his eyes and had to wait for them to adjust. As he looked around the only person he seen was Yuki. Yuki was crying?
"Yuki?" Shuichi's voice was tender almost as if he was the sweetest most kind person who never had anything happen to him.
"Huh." Yuki's head popped up.
"Were you crying?"
"Umm. I was just. Shuichi..."
"Hmm?"
"I don't want you to end up like me. What happened in my past. I don't want it to continue happening to you. I'm sorry."
"Yuki. I will be ok. Just don't leave alright."
"Ok."
Now it was extremely wierd in Shuichi's mind that roles were reversed right now. Yuki was crying and he had gently laid his head on Shuichis chest without hurting him. Shuichi placed his hand on Yuki's head and begain stroking his hair. Shuichi was the strong one right now. While Yuki still strong deep within let his true colors show. And also let Shuichi know that he truley did care about him.
"Shuichi?"
"Yeah Yuki?"
"I... I..."
"Don't be scared. You can tell me anything. Ok.""I love you." Eiri lifted his head up and kissed Shuichi gently as not to disturb him. Shuich felt happier than he had when Yuki had said he would be his lover. Now if he was not in this bed he would have floated off the ground with a huge smile and huge eyes that sparkled. But at the moment he just kissed him back and said "I love you to Yuki."
