Author's Note: Man, it took me so long to think of how I was going to write chapter seven. Sorry, guys, sometimes my creative lies with other things. But then I had this idea as I read over all my chapters (1-6) and realized that I can do two possible things with it. One, make it like a past things and bring it back to the present. Or two, do everything in first person after that but it wouldn't be right. So I did the only thing possible . . . make it a past thing and bring it back to the present. It's going to work . . . oh trust me, I think there was a reason for chapter six. Well . . . it should go as plan. Hope you enjoy . . .

"I can see him . . . he stands before me with eyes of emeralds and a sadden smile. He held his hand out to me as I grasp his. And the moment we touched, I knew it was all a dream. Because the words he whisper would always linger through my head . . . Goodbye, my love. Yes . . . goodbye, my love."

Raiden Toshiba, Drummer

Chapter Seven: Heart Shaped Box

~*Present: Two Years Later*~

[I've been looking in the mirror for so long,
That I've come to believe my soul's on the other side.
All the little pieces falling, shatter.
Shards of me,
Too sharp to put back together, too small to matter.
But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces.
If I try to touch her,
And I bleed,
I bleed,
And I breathe,
I breathe no more

"Alright, so the schedule goes as followed. We go to Japan first, do the tour there before we move through the rest of Asia. Our first concert is at Tokyo Dome next week. Till then, we have the rest of the day to rest and stuff."

"Yes, I can't believe we're going to Tokyo, the best city ever. I love the Japanese fashion, especially the GLE. Hey . . . Raiden aren't you from Japan?"

"Yeah . . . why? It's nothing to brag about, just another country like Italy or France. Besides, we're there on tour, not to really go sight-seeing, Faye."

"So what . . .because you are the leader of our band, doesn't make you my dad."

"Someone has to be . . . he left me in charge to take care of you for two years."

Faye gasped as she looked at Raiden with angry eyes. He's been like that for three days now and it was starting to piss her off. She hated it when he was sarcastic and cruel, she like him better when he was doped up on his medicine. Crossing her arms, she ignored him as she looked out the plane window. Seeing the Tokyo skyline, she felt excited. This would be her first time in Japan, hell her first time going anywhere outside of England. Just watching as the clouds mixed into the setting sun, she hoped it would be like she read from the tourist guide. Blue eyes glanced at her from the side, seeing how excited she looked. Grinning, it was better to see her happy than angry with him. Returning back to his magazine, he was reading an article about Bad Luck. Noticing that the band broke up and went their separate ways, he knew the reason . . . Shuichi. Reading on, it talked about their lives after Bad Luck. Hiro gave up music and went to college to earn his PhD in medicine. He's now engage to K and living life to the fullest. Fujisaki, who's the youngest in the group went on with his music, going solo and a proud composer. He's currently dating Japanese singer Amiko Haroko. And Shuichi, Bad Luck's leader completely changed. He just looked from page to page of pictures of him going wild at clubs, hanging out with random guys and women. Drinking crazily and even doing drugs. There were even picture of him when he was in jail for grand theft auto and drug possession. Was that truly Shuichi? He couldn't believe that he changed and become this uncontrolled person. He was the one to blame, he broke his heart and it turned him into an untamed animal.

Then the worst part of saying goodbye was with Sora and Ayame. He knew that they would be upset that he's just leaving without a reason. With Ayame, she was crying for him to say, begging him not to leave. Just listening to her sobs made him sad, but this was for the best. He told her that he's not going to be gone for long, he just had to do this for him right now. He promises to be back for her wedding, he knew she would be happy with that. And she was as she made him promise to at least call her to let her know what's going on. And Sora, he didn't know how to react when she start crying. It wasn't typical that she had feelings, but when he told her that she had to leave, it hurt him more. She didn't want him to go either, but she knew he had to do this for him and not for anyone else. So before he left, they hung out one last time, enjoying each other's company. She also nagged him to call her once in a while and he promised her. He didn't break his promise, he called them or email them to let them know what's going on. They still didn't know the full story behind his sudden departure, it was best to keep it like that. He didn't want them to be angry with him, he was already angry with himself enough.

Therefore, he just forgot his past, dropped it as if it never existed to begin with. Leaving Tokyo all together, he flew to England where he started his own band called H.F.A. (Heaven's Forbidden Angels). Turning from drummer to vocalist, him and four others became famous and was now with another big record label. In a way, he felt much better with them because he could sing the way he want to. Also his band mates are great and they became the best of friends over the two years. But the main person he talks to was Faye, his drummer. Just like with Sora, he could tell her things easily and in return she understood how he felt. So he told her the whole situation back in Tokyo and she understood and even gave him advice. Without her, he would still be lost. Sighing deeply, he closed the magazine, feeling fatigue from the long flight. Closing his eyes, he wasn't ready to return back to the past, but he didn't have a choice. It was in the band's touring schedule and this was the first stop.

Turning her head to the sound, she looked at Raiden, slightly concern. She knew about his life in Tokyo, and why he ran. In a way, she felt sorry for him that he wasn't able to confess his feelings for the one he care for. Reaching over for his hand, she placed it on top as she gave him one of her famous smiled. Raiden open his eyes half way, looking at her like she was crazy. What's with the sudden change with her. He swore that she was more manic than him. "I know this is hard for you, Rai. Don't worry, I'll be there with you all the way. Like you told me with Jax, I just have to take my time. So you have to do that also, because you are the only one who could bring him back." she replied, watching him roll his eyes and closing them again.

He knew she was right, but right now he didn't want to think about it. There was so much he had to fix back at home, it was giving him a headache. "I know . . . I'm still piss that we have to come here on our first tour. Who the hell gave him the idea to start our Asia tour there?"

A head popped up from the seat in front of him as neon green spikes greeted them. Matching color eyes looked at Raiden as a twisted smile appeared on bright purple lips. "Why I did love . . . I thought it was a great idea to visit Japan. Plus, I know you haven't been home in two years and must be dying to see your family and friends. I heard about your sister, Ayame Toshiba . . . she's getting married this month." she replied, as she rest her arms on the back of the chair, still looking at Raiden.

Pressing his mouth together, he felt like he wanted to hurt her, band mate or not. He knew she had something against him, but this was really pushing it. Interfering with his personal life bite the hand. "Glad you think tormenting me with my past pleases you, Dylan." he mumbled harshly biting back the urge to hit her.

Winking at him, she gave him a tooth grin. "Of course . . . remember I hate you, but I love you. Just think of this as a perfect opportunity to let us go sight-seeing. You can thank me later, I take cash, but checks are the best."

Flipping her off, he really hated her sometimes. Faye glared at her, a shame to even call Dylan her sister. "How could you Dyl? You knew he didn't want to return here! You know perfectly well if it wasn't for Raiden, you would still be in jail right now."

"No one asked him to come to my rescue. I had everything under perfect control . . . and why don't you stop sticking up for him. Do you like him or something?" Dylan candidly said as Faye opened her mouth to cuss at her, but Raiden cut her off.

"Look, I'm not in the mood to be fighting with you right now Dylan. We can fight each other once the plane lands and we are safely out of the sights of the people."

"Whatever . . . I'm not kissing your ass for nothing." Turning back around, Raiden groaned lowly, he knew this would continue once they got to the hotel.

Faye looked at him as her cheeks flushed at what her sister said. Of course she liked him, but she knew that it wouldn't be right. "I'm sorry for what my sister said . . . she's a bitch. God hates her so much that she's going to take it out on everyone." she whispered, low enough for Raiden to hear and Dylan to try and ease-drop.

Nodding, he wasn't worry about it. This was the typical thing between them three, he was use to it. "Don't apologize, she's a bitch and we just have to except that. Let's just enjoy the rest of the flight before we land. I want to forget as much as I can before I have to look back once again."

Smiling, she moved closer to him, resting her head on his shoulder. Closing her eyes, she like this. Even if he wouldn't return her feelings, at least she could enjoy his company. "Don't worry . . . you don't have to do this alone. I promise to help you through it, even if it takes me all month."

"Thanks Faye . . . I don't know what I would do without you."

"Simple . . . die."

"Heaven's Forbidden Angels are playing here in Tokyo. I can't believe it, I love their music. It's so great to have a Goth metal band playing within the world of Japanese music. I heard that the lead singer use to play for Bad Luck."

"Really? He went from drums to vocals . . . sexy. Look at the poster, he looks so hot without a shirt. I can't wait to get some tickets to the concert!"

"Me either, they're playing next week on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I heard that they are giving away back stage passes to meet the band. Man, I want to meet them, especially Raiden."

Violet eyes looked up from the magazine, listening to the teenagers’ gossip about the newest band. Just hearing the name Raiden, his eyes harden as he stared at the poster they were gawking at. So that was it, he left them for another. He didn't know whether to hate him more or be hurt. Placing the magazine back on the news rack, he shoved his hands into his pocket. Turning away, he headed down the busy streets of Tokyo, enjoying his day off. Shades covered his violet eyes as freshly dyed black hair glisten in the sun. It's been a year since he heard anything from Raiden. Since then, he decided to forget about him and live life to the fullest. He was enjoying it, regardless what the tabloid print up about him. He was still famous, without the Bad Luck name tagged to him. He was still N-G's lap dog and still single. What a twenty-four year old to do but party his life away. Turning the corner, he stopped when his eyes fell upon the giant screen. Staring at it, they was playing a music video to promote the concert that's coming. Watching it, he saw Raiden for the first time as he wore black jeans and he was hugging up with some woman.

Noticing how erotic it was, he listen to the melody. It started all slow but sensual. It would make any of the teenage girls fall to their knees and moan. As Raiden held the woman close to him, singing in her ear as his eyes stared at the camera, he couldn't help but feel weak. His eyes, those slate blue eyes that were piercing through his soul made him quiver. He had to admit on thing, the man did know how to make everything on his body sex appeal. Breaking away, he continued down the street, feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket. Knowing who it was, he took it out and answered it.

"Better have good news, not in the mood to talk." he spoke harshly, coming to music store, going in. Seeing two women stop and look at him, recognizing him quickly, he ignored them as the automatic doors block him.

A deep chuckle echoed as the person spoke. "Nothing gets by you, eh Shuichi. I'm just calling to tell you that I got what you want. It wasn't easy, but of course my boys know how to negotiate. So do you have my money?"

Rolling his eyes, he waved to the store manager as he headed towards the rock session. Stopping at the first set of CDs, he start staring at them, replying. "Of course I have your money. I never fail you, so don't ask such silly questions."

"Of course . . . Shuichi Shindou always deliver. I'm still little fuzzed by why you decide to do this . . . it doesn't seem like your thing."

Seeing the CD he wanted, he sighed deeply. Every time he called, they have the same conversation. "Need to try something new, you know that. I'm tired of everyone expecting me to be innocent, I'm not. Just make sure you have it, I'm not going to wait for you."

"I know . . . well, let me go. I have other business to attend to. Tonight at ten, Astro. Don't forget the money."

"Alright . . . see you later. Bye." Hanging up, he let out a shaky sigh, shoving his phone back in his pocket and look at the CD. He wanted to know what was so great about Heaven's Forbidden Angels. He knew that they were a British band, very dark and gothic.

They did some foreign songs he heard on the radio, but everyone seem to go crazy about the newest CD. Hiro even listens to it when he goes over to see him and he just don't understand. Heading towards the desk, he stopped short, seeing another CD that belong to the band. Grabbing that, he looked at it, noticing that this one was different. The cover had a black background and Victorian border went around. In the middle of the cover was a person, dressed in white as gray wings spread all over the place. What caught his attention was the person's eyes violet just like his. "Angelic Peace" was the title, engraved within the spread wings. Wondering why the band choose that cover, he turned it to the back, looking at the list of songs. Most of them was English, some in Japanese and German. Hearing footsteps approach him, he looked up seeing aquamarine eyes look at him, with a smile. Wondering who she was, he knew she saw her before, but where.

Looking at the CD, she took it out of his hand as she held it. Staring at it herself, she knew what it really meant and she knew he would like to hear it. "It was Raiden's first CD with his newest band. They wasn't famous yet, but they did get their CD promoted. When I first got the CD from him, I was so shock to see the cover. The person with the wings . . . it's you. The title was named after all the things he felt from you. And the last song on this CD . . . 'Goodbye, My Love', it was his final goodbye to Kei. He was finally able to let him go, but he had to be able to trust himself first." she said, looking at Shuichi as he looked at her, slightly confused. Smiling again, she return the CD back to him.

Shuichi wonder how she knew so much about the CD and still wonder who she was also. "I'm sorry . . . who are you again?" he asked, knowing he felt bad, but he didn't want to pretend he knew her.

"We only met once . . . I'm Noriko's little sister Sora. Nice to meet you again, Shindou-san. Ryuichi told me so much about you, so did Raiden. I'm sorry for interrupting your peace. It's just, it's been along time since I've seen that cover. The CD didn't sell big, but the cover was beautiful. He drew it himself . . . Raiden always had a thing with art. Well, I should be going . . . I have to deliver some papers to my boss. Nice seeing you again . . . I love your album."

Watching her walk away, he wanted to know more about the album. Apparently Raiden keeps in contact with her and he wanted to know something. "Wait . . . Ukai-san. I have a question."

Stopping short, she turned to him. "What is it, Shindou-san?"

"How do you know so much about me and Raiden? Did he tell you what happened between us?"

Smiling, she shook her head, winking at him. "Raiden didn't tell me about how you love him and he rejected your feelings by running away. I figure it out, but I didn't want to tell him that. Listen to me Shindou-san, don't stop having feelings for him. He's stupid when it comes to emotions, his especially his own. Just give him a chance . . . come to his concert."

Shaking his head, he had something important to do. "Would like to, but I can't. Sorry, but I would have to take a rain check."

Shrugging her shoulders, it was his lost. She did what she could do that's all. "Alright . . . well got to go. Hope to see you really soon."

"Yeah . . . whatever." he mumbled, looking back at the CD cover.

Shaking her head, she chuckled leaving the store. She'll be seeing him a lot sooner than he thought.

Take a breath and I try to draw from my spirits well.
Yet again you refuse to drink like a stubborn child.
Lie to me.
Convince me that I've been sick forever.
And all of this,
Will make sense when I get better.
But I know the difference,
Between myself and my reflection.
I just can't help but to wonder,
Which of us do you love,
So I bleed,
I bleed,
And I breathe,
I breathe no . . .
Bleed,
I bleed,
And I breathe,
I breathe,
I breathe-
I breathe no more . . .
