I Dare You

There were many twists and turns to one Yuki Eiri, but one certain infamous fact was that the author had a very weak spot for Dares.

Yes, Dares.

He always fought this… problem, yet whenever a dare was opposed to him it took a lot more strength than it should to turn it down.

Eiri remembered when he was eleven years-old and he and his much younger brother were pushing dares at each other, and the punishments for the loser were always horrific. Besides the horrible effect losing to his younger brother had on him, Eiri started being compulsive about winning, and when it came to winning dares, he became obsessive.

Of course, nature being nature, Shuichi found that odd habit of his quickly within their second year living together.

After their first year Eiri had come to terms with his fate; he was in love with the loud hyper teen, and would probably stay that way until he crocked.

So when Shuichi started daring him to all this stupidities he had no other choice than to do them.

And Eiri was proud to say that he had never failed one dare that his so-called Spouse had brought up against him. And some of them were moronically challenging.

It just so happened that it was right after Eiri had finished writing a short story about Space Monkeys in silver jumpsuits taking over the world for a silly challenge Shuichi had coughed up at him, that Eiri had finally broke.

Shuichi stood before him, doubling over with laughter, violet eyes tearing up, holding his midsection in a crazy laughter, and trying to make together a single sentence.

"So… Stupid…" Shuichi trailed off and fell to the floor, laughing his head off.

Eiri's eyes flared as they did when he truly was pissed, and he grabbed a hand-full of pink hair and yanked.

Hard and swiftly.

Shuichi scram in surprise and pain, and he looked at Eiri, eyes watering.

"Why'd you do that?" He asked when Eiri let go of his hair, and he sent a quick hand to rub the sore spot that was left in its wake.

"Dare me one more time and I'll you'll be out."

Eiri was waiting for Shuichi's eyes to water, and for his poppy-pout to appear, but what he got in turn was more than surprising.

Eiri was astonished.

Shuichi smirked at his lover, his eyes sparkling with mirth and he straightened himself and stood against Eiri.

"I DARE you."

Eiri sighed and blew a puff of frustrated air.

`Guess there are just some dares you have to pass on,' Eiri thought as he grabbed the back of his lover's neck, and pulled the laughing idiot into the bedroom.
