'Ello Gove'ner

Blood spread all over the bathroom sink, the owner sat on the toilet with a towel wrapped around the wound. This time she went too deep, her urge to feel numbness made the giant gash to flow quickly. Black hair covered the dull look within gray eyes as she pressed her back against the back of the toilet. Her mind felt troubled, like it usual does before she had to work. That's why she formed this band, in order to forget the things that made her ache. However, the band wasn't enough to ease the troubled beast within. She needed something more to numb the pain she been feeling for the last ten years. At the age of twenty-three, she still can't seem to forget the past, which is ruining her present, but profitting her future. She took a deep breath as she removed the towel from her arm. With a glance she saw that the bleeding had stop, but now her wound was swollen and red. The thick red line made from her wrist and around would talk along time to heal. The scar would be too large to say it was something accidential. Besides, she thought sadly, not many people know about her self-mutilation.

"Eriunei...are you in there?" A soft voice came from the other side of the bathroom door, stirring her up in a panic.

She forgot that her boyfriend of three years was coming over and she decided to do this to herself. With a quick leap, she rushed about to clean up the mess she made. Even her beloved doesn't know about the desperate cries of help she often screeched in silence when the blade is pressed against her flesh. She didn't want to tell him because the fear of him leaving her alone. "Y-yes, I'm coming out in a second. I'm just cleaning up my mess. Just wait for me in the living room, alright Dei." She shouted to him, her voice gave away the nervousness she been trying to cover up, but failed.

Dei didn't even notice, as he sighed deeply. "Alright, but don't take too long. The movie starts in an hour. Let's not be late like last time." He reminded her of their last date, in which Eriunei cursed silently.

She grabbed the towels that covered the floor and swept them into the hamper that was knocked down. While she cleaned, she heard his descending footsteps that went silent once they touched the carpet. She couldn't help but sigh loudly this time, at least he didn't open the door, since she didn't bother to lock it. With the last bit of cleaning and reorganizing, she decided to fix the issue on her arm. Eriunei often hated the after process when she had other people to think about. It's just something about her flesh wounds that made her want to do it more, just to see how deep it would drive her. Shaking her head, Eriunei told herself to stop thinking negative. With a tight bandage, she pulled down her long sleeve of her hoody and took her leave from the bathroom. She glanced back to make sure nothing looked obvious of her bloodsport and when she saw how clean the bathroom looked, she nodded satifyingly. With that, she ventured to the living room to hear the sounds of music being played from the television. A smile graced her face when she saw Dei all streched out on her couch, tennis shoes feet dingling off the end. His mopped black hair swept to the side as green eyes stared mindlessly at the screen. Eriunei couldn't help but stare at hm with fascination. This was something she couldn't regret having, even if her mind told her she doesn't deserve anything.

"From this angle, you look very handsome." She spoke, drawing him out of his viewing.

Dei looked over his bangs to see his beauty standing in the doorway, looking sexy as usual. "And from my angle, you look like an angel. When did you become so beautiful?"

Eriunei giggled lightly as she moved toward him in a stroll. He always found ways to flatter her, when flattery wasn't something she was use to. "When my mother brought me into this world and the first words I heard from everyone was 'she's so beautiful'. Also puberty filled out all the missing gaps."

He rolled his eyes playfully, rising himself from his comfortable position so she could sit. Taking the offer, Eriunei flopped herself down next to him and rested her head on his shoulders. Carefully she cradled her wounded arm so she wouldn't add pressure to it. Dei shift slightly so he could wrap his arm around her shoulders. Placing a loving kiss against her brow, his eyes returned back to the moving screen. "Your silly, you know that, love?"

Bending her knees in, snuggling closer to accept the warmth and love he was emitting from his body. Right now, no matter how depressed she felt, this moment wouldn't be ruined by it. "That's what they always say, but it's nice to hear it once again."

"Well, I'll give you something else to hear. I love you."

"I love you too."

He smiled proudly at her declaration as he placed another tender kiss on her brow. He knew they had certain moments they shared with kissing. These moments were only tiny ones like on the brow or cheek. Inhaling deeply, he felt all the stress that pilled up on him disappeared once Eriunei laid in his arm. It's like, today of all days their boss from DJ-MAX had to call him and tell him some important news. Of course, when Darius called one of the members of Morbidity, it was always something bad. This time, he told him about a sudden change. That telling Eriunei would piss her off more and don't need to be discussed until tomorrow. He considered letting his girlfriend know what's going on, but he knew how she was. First, she would threaten to kill Darius, next she would find a way to blow up DJ-MAX without being caught, and lastly she would cry her heart out because the band means everything to her. She's the reason behind the development of Morbidity. If it wasn't for her creative lyrics and beautiful singing voice, they wouldn't have made it big. He was proud to be in the band, just his mad skills on the bass, which became very useful for their band. The other members were excellent also, Kaiki on the guitar and Duncun on the drums. He was second vocalist and bass. Eriunei played alittle piano and violin, giving their band a gothic rock approach with celtic.

"You look distracted, what's wrong?" He jolted slightly when he heard her sweet voice call out to him, along with his gentle caress upon his cheek. He wondered how long he'd been spacing out not to feel the physical contact.

Gazing down at her, he saw her large eyes look up at him full of questions and innocence. He faintly smiled, taken in by the beauty that held his eyes. "I'm sorry, I had something on my mind. Just wondering if Darius is going to work us to death, like he usual do."

Just hearing her manger/producer's name made Eriunei's head ache. Don't get her wrong, Darius is a cool guy, but also a weasel. He would do anything just to reach record sells, even sell his own band to another company or merger. Stopping her affectionate caresses, she brought her hand back to her side and broke away their eye contact. "You're thinking about work when you're here with me. Some boyfriend...sometimes you make me question your devotion and sexuality." She mumbled angrily.

"Eriunei...you know I love you more than life and that my sexuality is completely bi, but I can't help but think about the horrible outcome of tomorrow when Darius tell us about the mer-" He cut himself short before he could finish revealing the secret.

Her eyes returned quickly when she caught on to what he was about to say. Her mind released tons of possible words that could go with 'mer'. All she knew that Darius is about to 'mer' them with something. And apparently according to her boyfriend, he knows about it. "Spill it!"

"What are you talking about?" He felt nervous.

Gray eyes darken, glistened with flames. "What is Darius about to do with the band this time." It wasn't even a question.

Swallowing the lump that found his way up his throat, he knew he should have kept his mouth shut. "It's nothing serious, don't worry. C'mon we need to head over to the movies." He took the opportunity to glance down at his watch.

Glares turned crossly as she growled lowly. She didn't appreciate when he hid things from her. "We're not going to the movies until you tell me what's going on." She sneered lowly, her hand reached up and gripped his chin tightly.

Feeling cornered, he knew she was strong and sometimes abusive, but when she wanted something, she'll get it by force. He couldn't turn his head if he wanted to, her vice grip was a killer on his square jaw. In his mind, he tried to make up something to tell her, but all of it came back to the real reason. "Darius told me not to tell you."

"Why would he do something like that? I'm the lead singer, not you."

"H-he didn't want you to do something you'll regret."

She clenched a little tighter. "Regret, like what?"

God she was strong when angry, he swore he could hear his bones breaking. "Going back to Tokyo..." He shouted painfully in a small voice.

Tokyo...what the hell? She released her hold as Dei let out a huge sigh of relief. Not wasting time listening to his whining, she jumped up off the couch and crossed the room to the telephone on the bar. Reaching it, she quickly dialed Darius personal number and listened to the ten rings until he answered his phone. Once she heard the line transforward, she didn't even take her time with the typical greeting.

"WHY ARE WE GOING TO TOKYO?" She snapped loudly into the phone.

On the other line, Darius removed the phone from his ear when he heard his pretty little black haired vocalist let out an hostile question. He grinned naturally, knowing Dei couldn't keep his mouth shut. Might as well tell her, he thought since most of the cat is out of the bag. With a drag from his cigarette, he blew out the cancerous smoke as he gave her a friendly laugh. "Eriunei, my star protege, I wanted to surprise you tomorrow, but since that boyfriend of yours can't keep his trap shut, I might as well continue it."

She threw Dei an angry glare as he flinched away from the coldness. "Speak." She hissed impatiently.

"Alright lioness, don't kill me. Well, apparently I've came up with a great idea. Since you're a native of Japan, why not go there and merge the band with another. I hear from the president of N-G that their hottest band around is called Bad Luck. Cute boys, great sound and a new chance to appeal to our Asian population."

Eriunei ignored the rest of the stuff, but only caught on with the word 'merge with another band'. What the hell was he thinking? Morbidity was already good here in England and America. Why would she want to merge with a Japanese band nor return back to the place where she fled from ten years ago. Slowly, she returned the phone to the receiver, still hearing Darius talking about the pros and cons of going international. When she heard the click, she let out the loudest anguish scream she could muster.

What the hell is going on?

In the middle of the night, Yuki received a text message on his cell phone from the last person he expected to hear from, in years. Amber eyes gazed at the brief, but detailed message as he grumbled something only he could understand. Next to him, Shuichi snuggled against his turned back, saying something about strawberries and pocky. Ignoring his idiotic babbling, he scrolled down the message once more as he read it with more urgency.

"I'm returning back home...onii-chan."

Author's Note:
Chapter One Complete...
Don't worry, all the other chapters will be longer than the first to. Think of them as two separate prologues in two different settings. So you already met Eriunei and Dei, a lovely couple and members of the band Morbidity. Also, to add to the twist, Yuki has another sister, however no one knows about her. So let's get some things straight before I continue on.
Eriunei Yamazaki (Uesugi)- twenty-three, lives in England (been there since she was fourteen), lead vocalist of Morbidity, and has three siblings.
Dei Kingston-twenty-seven, Eriunei's boyfriend and lives in England. Second lead vocalist and bass
Kaiki-twenty-one, currently resides in England and related to Dei. Guitar
Duncun O'Relly-twenty-five, lives in England and is the drummer of Morbidity.

How are Eriunei and Eiri siblings...well I can't explain the whole story, but let's just say she went through some horrible stuff just like him (only rape isn't the main issue). They kept in contact, but let their identities remain a secret. The only ones who knows about Eriunei besides the family is Tohma, Noriko, and Ryuichi.

That's it!
