Gundam Wing Fan Fiction / Full Metal Panic Fan Fiction ❯ Perfect Soldiers ❯ Chapter 1

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

Neither of the shows Gundam Wing, nor Full Metal Panic, nor any of their characters, belong to me in any way shape or form. T

Was talking about both of these shows with Beck, and, well we just knew there was a crossover in here somewhere. Then KMF questioned about a FMP fic and that got me to thinking at least to try and give it a shot. Guess I got my second wind. BTW, this is my first crossover, hope ya like it.

"Heero, won't you try to relax just a bit? We'll only be in Tokyo a few months, true a lot of that time will be taken up by my meetings with the other delegates, but that doesn't mean I can't have a little fun." The eighteen year-old Vice Foreign minister looked over at her boyfriend, who was sitting quietly on the window ledge, peering out into the night sky that blanketed over the Japanese capital. She bit her lip lightly and stepped over to him and with an extended hand she ran her fingers through his wild dark hair. "And I especially can't wait to have a little fun with you."

Her words caught his attention as he caught the wrist of her hand that was tenderly stroking his straight, slightly spiked mop. He then pulled her toward him until she was spun around and sitting on his lap, where he held her lightly and smoothed her cheek with one of his hands. "I have a feeling something is going to happen. I don't know what, but I can't shake it."

Relena smiled warmly and kissed his fingertips that were smoothing over her bottom lip. "And when you get this way, you worry about me even more. But darling, the school I start tomorrow has had a thorough check, hell, we even brought Duo down here with us as extra back-up for you."

Except for a small sigh, Heero continued his thin-lipped silence as he gazed intensely into her eyes. "But," his girlfriend of two years continued, "I do think your concern is awful sweet." She leaned forward a tiny bit and brushed her lips lightly over his. "And I love you for it even more." She then pressed her mouth to his. He accepted the kiss and deepened it, his once loose embrace now tight around her body, as he lifted her up in his arms to make his way with her over to their bed.

~~Elsewhere in Tokyo~~

Kaname Chidori groaned a little as she rolled over in her bed and with one half-opened eye she saw the empty space beside her, her fingertips picking up the coolness of the sheets as they glided over the vacant spot. She sat up in bed and turned towards the window where she saw her boyfriend, sitting on the window ledge looking out into the night sky that blanketed over Tokyo.

"How long have you been there? Why don't you come back to bed? Don't tell me you have another one of your bad feelings." She allowed an exasperated sigh to leave her, though in reality she wasn't as upset as it had made her sound. She rose to her feet, stretching a little, releasing a small yawn as she padded her way over to him, and with and extended hand she ran her fingers through his wild dark hair. "Hey, is it about the Vice Foreign Minister starting at our school tomorrow? I don't know her of course, but she's done so much and seems like a really great girl."

Kaname's words caught Sousuke Sagara's attention and he lifted his hand, gently grasping her wrist, stopping its hand's movement that was stroking his straight, slightly spiked mop. He pulled her towards him gently until her body was spun around and she was in his lap, lightly embraced by his arms.

"Having her attending our school means, that the danger level there will be higher than it has been in a long while. I just can't shake the feeling that something is going to happen with her being there." As he spoke his concerns, his left hand was smoothing over her cheek and bottom lip, halting when she caught his thumb between her teeth, where she held it captive there, sucking on it lightly before releasing it from her lips.

"You sir, worry to much." She leaned into him a little more, her lips brushing over his. The gaze he had locked into her eyes was intense as she continued with her words. "It used to irritate the hell out of me, and it still does, but I also think it's incredibly sweet." Her mouth then met his, "And I love you for it even more." All language between them then ceased, as Sagara deepened their kiss, tightening his embrace around her, lifting her gingerly up into his arms, making his way with her towards their bed.

~~The Next Morning~~

"Kaname! Kaname! She's here! She's here! And I got a picture of her too!" Kyouko Tokiwa's braided ponytails bounced around her shoulders as she jumped up and down holding her tiny pink camera in her hands. Kaname rolled her eyes. "Stop it Kyouko, you're embarrassing me."

The one who could have best been described as Kaname's best female friend, looked wide-eyed over at the brown-eyed girl as she adjusted the brim of her glasses. "That isn't a very nice greeting you know. You should be a little bit nicer to me, or I won't show you my pictures."

"That'll be a great loss to me." Sarcasm filled Kaname's voice as she flipped back her electric blue locks over her shoulder. "Now will you just stop talking for a second and simply show me where this girl is? I've been the one assigned to familiarize her with the school and its policies."

"Sure, sure, this way." Kyouko was back to her cheery self as she grabbed her friend's hand and tugged her along behind her. "She should still be this way. Speaking of those on assignment, where's Sagara this morning?"

The exasperated sigh from Kaname's body this time was real. "Oh he's checking this or that, says he has a bad feeling about today."

"It's so nice to have someone so concerned about you Kaname. You don't know how lucky you are!"

Her friend's words brought a smile to Kaname's lips and a sparkle in her dark brown eyes. "Yea, I guess I am."

~~Meanwhile~~

"I am so glad you're here with us Duo. Heero's been so edgy about this whole thing the last few days. Where did he go anyway?"

"You know him princess," Duo smiled his boyish smile, winking an eye at a girl who had just passed them. "He's out skirting around, checking things out."

The little scene of Duo flirting with the passing girl did not escape Relena's notice. "You have become such a womanizer lately."

Duo chuckled and flipped his long loosely braided hair over his shoulder. "So you've noticed? Don't know why but as soon as I hit eighteen I guess my repressed hormones kicked in, 'jouson."

This brought a giggle out of Relena. "Well, mister, no breaking hearts on my watch. Ya got it?"

The ex-pilot of Deathscythe saluted playfully. "Yes ma'am. Heero's told me what a ball buster you can be when you get angry."

Relena giggled again. "You don't know the half of it. Just be glad I don't get angry easily."

Their friendly conversation was interrupted by a forceful ahem. They both turned and looked to see before them a blue haired, brown eyed girl and a shorter girl with light brown hair and large round glasses that sat on her nose between eyes of the same color. The taller girl spoke, extending her hand to Relena.

"Vice Foreign Minister Darlian? I am Kaname Chidori. I have been assigned to escort you around and make sure your days here at, Jindai, are as carefree and as pleasant as possible.

The Minister straightened her posture and smiled warmly, accepting the other girl's hand in a gracious shake. "Hello Miss Kaname Chidori. I am Relena Dorlian, but please, just call me Relena. I'm honored to be accepted at this fine school and hope that we can become great friends."

"And you may call me Kaname, Relena. And I do think we will become great friends."

~~Elsewhere~~

Heero cocked his gun and held it vertically to the side of his head, holding it firmly in between his two hands, as he slinked his way through the corridors of the school. He briefly looked behind himself, his keen sixth sense that he had obtained as a trained soldier telling him that he was being watched as well. I'll just play it cool until I can flush him out or he decides to show himself. But, I must get back to Relena right now, she might be in danger and I'm not gonna let anyone hurt her.

There is a strange guy with a gun at our school? He's probably after the VFM. Well, Chidori's with her and I won't let her get hurt. Damn, wish I could see his face instead of the back of his head. Oh well, he seems built very similar to myself. Taking him out should be no problem. Sagara narrowed his gaze and continued following the suspicious acting boy, his own gun, raised vertically to his head, held firmly between his two hands. Into his line of vision came Chidori. She was chatting with a girl who had long ash brown hair, that Vice Foreign Minister. He also saw the young man he had been following, had a gun and was getting closer to the two girls. It was time to make his move. He sped up his pace and let loose his attack as he tried to tackle him.

Heero felt the person behind him advancing and he immediately readied himself for the attack, spinning around and catching the other boy off guard, flinging him into the lockers and causing his gun to fly as a few feet away. The other young man however did not stay down and counter attacked with a flying blow that floored Heero, knocking his gun out of his hand; but as was with Sagara, Heero was not down for long. Man, this guy is strong, they both thought simultaneously as they began their scuffle.

"Heero!"

"Sousuke!"

Both girls screamed the names and then looked at each other, questioning in unison. "Is he with you?"

Duo stood by, knowing it best not to get in the middle of Heero's fight, but in slight shock as well noticing the familiarities between both boys who were currently tearing up the school hallway. "Oh man, as if one Heero wasn't enough."

"Huh?" Kaname and Relena still spoke in unison again, as they simultaneously looked towards their boyfriends' direction, upon Duo's words.

Heero grabbed his gun the same time Sousuke grabbed his own. Both boys found themselves at a standstill as they froze, one pointing the gun at the other's head. Sousuke was on his back half sitting, while Heero was standing above him, his body straddled over him. They both locked their guns onto the space between each other's eyes. They also seemed to notice their similarities at the same time.

"Who the hell are you?" Sousuke demanded.

"The same question to you!" Heero retorted.

"That man! He never learns!" Kaname was the first to take action. "He's one of the Vice Foreign Ministers bodyguards, Sousuke! Now get up will you and stop acting like an idiot!"

"When will you learn Heero?" Relena huffed. "The man you have pinned, Heero, is Kaname's bodyguard. So let him go!"

The two men looked at each other, their girlfriends words registering, though their pride kept them from lowering their guns, until they were scolded once again by their significant others.

"On the count of three?" Asked Heero.

"Count of three." Replied Sousuke.

Slowly the men counted, and when they reached three they scrambled away from one another, Heero to Relena and Sousuke to Kaname.

A little calmer now, Relena spoke the first introduction. "Hello, these are my bodyguards, Duo Maxwell, and Heero Yuy. Well, Heero is my boyfriend too."

"Even more of a coincidence." Kaname spoke as she made her own introduction. "This is my boyfriend and bodyguard, Sousuke Sagara."

Sousuke nodded his greeting. "A pleasure."

"Likewise." Heero stated flatly with a curt nod of his own.

Duo sighed a chuckle, leaning back against the lockers his eyes closed, his arms crossed over his chest. "Yep. This is going to be an interesting couple of months."
