The Cunning

"Whoa, where am I?" asked a young girl with short black hair and honey brown eyes. She was wearing blue jeans and a green shirt.

The blue glistering sprit smiled, "Little one, you are needed."

"For what, and who are you calling little?" asked the girl.

"To help save the world."

"Cool! Where?"

"You are needed in another world."

"What do you mean?"

"Jade, you are the cunning, and a lot of people are counting on you."

"Not like I haven't done it before," said Jade.

"I don't have much time to explain, please take this," Said the sprit and threw her another identical key chain that the others.

"Your legal guardians are Chang Wufei, Duo Maxwell, Quatre Winner, Heero Yuy and Trowa Barton."

"What about my family and friends, and why do I have to have five guardians?"

"Don't worry," said the sprits fading voice as golden glittery and ribbon-like light flash transported Jade to the boys' house.

Jade appeared in a room and looked around. There was a computer to the lift and a bunk bed in the corner. There were shelves of comic books and plenty of toys. Jade looked on the dresser and there were pictures of all of her family and the J-team that she had taken.

Jade took a group picture and looked at it, "I'll find a way home, guys. After I save this world, of course." She whispered.

Jade took a closer look at the key chain and saw a glittering purple light. "Cool, I wonder what's its for?" She examined it; "I don't see how a key chain is going to help me save the world."

Just as she was about to look at some of the comics when she heard footsteps. The door was open and Jade saw a young Chinese man.

"Who are you?" The man asked.

"Names' Jade."

"Here is an extra coat, and some shoe's" Rai said giving Quatre a coat and shoes from the closet.

"Thanks," Quatre said with a smile.

"No problem." Rai said.

Quatre looked at her and then picked up his key chain and saw an extra harm, "Huh?"

"What," asked Rai and she looked at hers. They both had identical teal teardrops.

"How did that happen?" Quatre said, confused.

"I don't know, but we should try to find your house, then we can figure it out together."

"Okay," said Quatre.

As they walked outside Rai moved her hand next to Quatre and held it. They walked for moments without words. None seemed to be needed; just being with each other seemed enough. They both had just met, but their souls have already intertwined.

"Where should we go?" Quatre questioned.

"I guess where I found you," Rai said and looked into his eyes.

"Lead the way," Quatre whispered.

The walked for about ten minutes and Rai said, "Here."

Quatre let go of Rai's hand and knelt down. "Now that I think about it, I think this was the place, but I wonder where my shoes were, I know I had them on. Unless one of my friends found them, but I don't understand how they got off my feet..."

Rai frowned, "It doesn't add up, its almost like this was all planed."

Quatre looked up at Rai, "It does."

Quatre sighed, "I have no idea where I went after I got out of the house, I don't even know if I went left or right."

"What were you doing outside?"

"I needed some fresh air and I stepped outside and I was deep in thought and I guess I just fainted form the cold or something."

Rai sensed that Quatre wasn't telling her everything, but she figured that he would tell her when he was ready. "I suppose we can walk around maybe you'll know you house when you see it."

"I guess," Quatre said looking up at the sky.

"Hey don't give up, you'll find you way home," Rai said.

Quatre smiled and grabbed Rai's hand.

If only I knew where home was.
