Kk this is a Sailor Moon / Gundam Wing crossover. It is a romance and angust/death fic as well as a one-shot. It is a Lita/Duo fic told from Lita's POV. I do not own sailor moon or gundam wing. Sry if this story is a little bit confusing…so..yeah… on with the story!

"Why? Why did this have to happen? IT IS NOT FAIR!!" I scream. My friends are all gathered around us. My friends and his. Amy and Quatre have gone for help while I just sit there holding him.

"Damn you Duo. You crazy bastard. Why did you do that?...Why?" Jeeze…that has to be the hundredth time that I've asked that question. But the reply is still the same. Silence. The latest scene keeps replaying itself in my head like an endless nightmare. None of this seems real……….

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Flash Back^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

"Duo, why….why did you do that? I could have handled it! Why did you have to take the bullet for me? It was meant for me…me not you. So...so...why? Why would you do something like that? Why?..........why?" I shook his shoulders trying to get a response. "Answer me damn it!"

His eyes slowly slid open to look at me. They looked frightened at first then softened to reveal relief. Thouse eyes….those beautiful Persian eyes…

"I'm...so glad *cough* that you ….are….alright Lita."

I could see the brilliant light fading from his eyes His face became serious as he began to talk again.

"Lita…*cough* there is something….something that I want to tell you."

"Duo don't talk. We'll get you to a doctor and you'll be fine. Just please stop talking for once." He smiled at my jest and looked up at me with the same bright eyes

"heh…very funny. But… you need to hear this. You kneed to know that *cough* the only reason I did this was…because *cough* because…"

"Because why?!" I was starting to loose my patience. I was loosing him and Amy and Quatre were still not back yet.

He smiled wider at me and it was then that I realized what that light really was….

"Because…..I love you."

And the light was gone.

His eyes. That's what haunts me the most. So many times he had looked at me with those eyes yet I never saw it. It never clicked until it was too late. Now I sit here with his limp body in my arms. Waiting. Hoping. Praying that he will open his eyes. That this is just another one of his games. But I know that it will never happen. I hug his body close as it begins to rain. Picturing in mind his brilliant eyes.

"I love you too."
