Usagi lay floating in the darkness, the darkness that now consumed her heart. No longer the cheerful carefree girl but a woman whose heart lay in pieces by her broken spirit. As Usagi fell deeper into the abyss her wings were stripped from her leaving her in her high school uniform, her hair floating all around her like a blanket of gold.
As she stared deep into the abyss above her, those beautiful crystal blue eyes shone with tears yet no light, no soul and no life sparked within them.
All she thought, all she knew was this had to happen. They were finally free. Free from the darkness that consumed their hearts since that day, free from the bind chaos held so tightly against their souls. It had to be done. Usagi couldn't bear to seem them in so much pain.
So she did the unthinkable…. She took their darkness and sealed it within her much like Galaxia had done for the galaxy.
Suddenly a light filtered through the abyss like a ray of hope.
Usagi pondered on what this light could be, but knew only one answer, it was her very being. The Ginzuishou…
It was giving her hope. Power to believe. Strength to live.
Usagi closed her eyes in pain, hoping to drown out the healing light. But even the warmth filled her heart and soul with comfort she could not turn away. Usagi opened her eyes and smiled a rare true smile, one she hadn't had since that day.
As she reached out for the special crystal, her index finger gently brushed the surface as the area of the darkened abyss filled with pure blinding white light.
After the explosion of light, Usagi fell limp disappearing from the darkest place in the universe. To some place she will be free from herself and her haunting past.

Usagi sat up sharply quickly coming out of her dream state. Her eyes dulled to a dark blue. Her skin was pale and lifeless as if she hasn't seen the light of day in ages. Her hair was still loose from her usual hairstyle and her school uniform looked rather plain.
Usagi raised a delicate hand to her heart as if looking for something. But it wasn't there… it was as if she were empty. A silvery crystal fell into her lap startling her. She turned her dull blue eyes to the Mystical Silver Crystal that she now held in her hands. As she clenched her fingers tightly around the bright object her eyes widened in pain as she held her head in pain, still clutching the crystal.
Images and flashes filled her mind. Visions of wars times of peace and times of suffering. Earth establishing colonies in space and continuing to improve and invent new technology. Strong machines and death… so much death.
After her mind cleared and she opened her eyes she found herself staring into a pair of bright violet-blue eyes that seemed to be filled with so much life.
Falling over in shock Usagi looked at the man before her. Well she would say man, he seemed to be around her age maybe a few years older.
He grinned at her handing her an outstretched hand. Hesitantly she took it and stood with much trouble.
How long had it been since she once stood on her own to feet? How long had it been…
"Hey are you okay?" He spoke with cheer and hint of worry.
He certainly was a character. His long waist length brunette hair in a loose braid and long bangs that hid mysterious violet-blue eyes, they only seemed mysterious for the fact that the held a great secret veiled by a shadow of false cheer and happiness. His fairly tanned skin held tight muscles and a lean form. Strange enough he wore a priests uniform.
Usagi nodded with pain. Was she okay? If she was then why was her heart in so much grief.
He smiled and bowed respectively taking her hand and kissing it gently. "My name is Duo Maxwell. I may run, I may hide but I dare never to tell a lie. And you may be?"
Usagi smiled softly though it hurt her greatly to do so. "Usagi Tsukino. Hajimemashite" her voice was soft and sweet but lacked the spark of fire she once carried.
Duo grinned and stood back up placing his hands behind his hand and clasping them together.
"So why were you here all alone, where's your family? Are you here with friends? Why you hurt?" he said never missing a beat.
Usagi looked off into the horizon her eyes watering slightly but still no shine spread through them.
"I don't remember…. Why don't I remember? Do I have family or friends? All I remember is darkness" she whispered her voice carrying eerily into the wind.
Duo watched this with sympathy. That must be horrible to know absolutely nothing besides the name you carry. At least he had memories to cherish. Does she even have a place to stay?
Duo took her hand into his own "That's awful. Do you even have a place to stay?"
Usagi turned her dull eyes to him and frowned. All Duo thought that moment was how that frown should never be on her face, it just didn't fit right with him. She shook her head her hair flowing gently around her.
Duo grinned, "Then stay with me. My buddy just asked the guys and me to come live with him again. Like old times. It'd be great to have you around.
Usagi thought on saying no but something was pushing her to say yes. "Hai, Arigatou gozaimasu."
Duo was glad he knew some Japanese thanks to a certain trigger-happy Gundam pilot.
"Your welcome" Duo said thinking she would understand some English due to her earlier introduction and little speech."
Usagi frowned removing her hand from his. "Why do you care so much? Why trust someone you don't know so easily… you'll only get burned."
Now it was Duo turn to frown. Why was he helping her besides the fact that she was a mysterious beauty?
Was that the reason why? She was mysterious and he wanted, needed to know more about her. The dreary look in her eyes that held no spark no fire it made him want to help her. Bring life back into her dark heart. Like she had lived through such as even he had. He had to bring her back. To let this angel fly once more.
"Because I care… How would anyone feel if they left an innocent soul out here in the dark lonely park? And if I get burned then so what. At least I would go down knowing that I've done the right thing."
Usagi shrugged her shoulders and hesitantly grabbed his hand. "Then lets go," she said looking at him with those wide pained blue eyes.
Duo grinned ecstatically pulling her down out of the park and to a black and yellow motorcycle.
Usagi looked at the motorcycle with doubt. Duo not noticing just handed her a dark yellow helmet, putting on a dark blue one also.
Usagi sighed that nagging feeling in the pit of her stomach was at it again. The crystal, which was now in the broach that sat upon the red bow on her chest. Sitting on the bike behind him she loosely rapped her arms around his waist.
Duo grinned though the helmet yelling out, "You'll need to hold on tighter then that," before kicking the peddle up and speeding away letting the wind travel over her body like sharp prickles, she then held onto Duo tighter.
