Chapter Seventeen

Hotaru tightened her grip on her glaive. She was floating in outer space, alone. Far in front of her was the most unique and beautiful planet in the solar system, Saturn. The colorful rings circled the round planet. Hotaru felt her lips curved into a smile, her dark purple eyes softened.

"Welcome home, Hotaru." Hotaru said to herself.

Hotaru raised her speed as she flew to her homeland. Once she get closer, she saw a beautiful castle made of violet crystal. The castle was glowing lightly with soft purple light. Hotaru landed in front of a large purple crystal gate with beautiful carvings all over it.

"Titan Castle." Hotaru sighed. "I'm finally home."

Hotaru stared at the gate for a few seconds. Then she pulled the purple crystal from her tiara and threw it to the gate, it disappeared once it touched the gate. The gate opened slowly and Hotaru stepped in. She looked around the large chamber. It was wide and high. The crystalline wall was purple and a lot of silk purple curtains draped almost all over it. The floor was made of purple crystal too. In the middle of the chamber were three statue of the Royal family. Her father, her mother, and herself. Hotaru kneeled down in front of her parents' statue.

"Father…mother…" she said. "Long time no see…"

Hotaru stood back and looked around. The castle hasn't changed a bit. Hotaru saw the stairs where she was usually sliding on. The large crystalline doors. Her eyes stopped in the largest door among the crystalline doors. She frowned, what was behind those door? She couldn't remember. Hotaru stared doubtfully at the door before hesitantly walked toward it.

Hotaru placed her right hand on the door and it opened slowly. The senshi of destruction stepped in, and looked around. She walked slowly and almost fell down when her feet tripped on something. Hotaru's gaze fell down, expecting to see crystal or something else. But instead of any those things, there was an unconscious form of Heero Yuy. Hotaru gasped and kneeled beside him, shook him gently to wake him up. Then she remembered something. She reached for her pocket and pulled out a Prussian blue crystal. It glowed slightly. Hotaru carefully placed it on his chest. The crystal jabbed into his chest and it disappeared. Hotaru sighed in relief and placed him back on the floor.

Hotaru stood back and continued to examine the large chamber. There was hundreds of candles lightening the chamber, made the room glowed in soft purple. She looked upward and found herself staring at the clear sky of Saturn. She could see thousands stars above, through the clear glass. She snapped out from her flashback when she heard a soft moan behind her. She turned back and greeted by a scene where Heero was sitting and rubbing his sore head. He looked around and got up in flash. He stared directly to Hotaru.

"Where am I?" he growled.

"In the Titan Castle." Hotaru answered and Heero cocked a brow.

"I've never heard Titan Castle anywhere on Earth or colonies."

"Of course you haven't. Titan Castle is on the sixth planet in the solar system, Saturn."

"Saturn?"

"Yes, Saturn…" Hotaru looked away from his eyes. "This was my homeland."

"Your…homeland?" Heero asked, puzzled.

"Yes, I'm Sailor Saturnus, you know."

"Hn."

"Hey, take a look at those big crystals there!" Hotaru pointed her finger to two large crystals in the middle of the chamber, surrounded by hundreds of purple roses. Heero nodded.

Hotaru and Heero walked together to the crystals. When she was about one meter from the crystals, Hotaru gasped and moved back a bit. Heero caught her shoulders and looked at her with questioning look. Hotaru pointed shakily at the crystals and Heero walked past her, took a good looked at the crystal. Heero's eyes widened and his jaw dropped to the floor.

Inside the crystals were two people. One a girl and one a boy. They looked like a couple. The girl in the crystal was exactly the one he saw in his dream, although this one looked a bit older. The girl had shoulder length purplish black hair, closed eyes with long eyelashes, pale and smooth skin, and long fingers. She was wearing long and light purple silk dress. Beside her was a boy in the same age as the girl. He had unruly dark chocolate brown hair. His body looked built perfectly, although he was wearing silver armor. He held a long sword in front of his chest. A silver headband rested on his forehead with a Prussian blue crystal in the middle of it. He had a slight, very thin but serene smile on his face, made him a lot handsomer.

"Is-is this….is this me and you?" Heero asked, completely confused.

"No…it's not me…" Hotaru said.

"Then who are they?"

"This girl is…I think this girl was myself…in the past…" Hotaru answered. "This is Princess Saturn."

"And the boy…" Heero gulped. "I think…he…is…Prince Vega…My-myself…in the past…"

Hotaru and Heero stared at each other. Both of them fell silent. Suddenly, a blinding light escaped from the crystals. Heero pulled Hotaru into his arms to protect her. Hotaru closed her eyes tightly when the light hit both of them. They both lost consciousness at the same time.

---------- Hotaru's dream ----------

"Mother, what's wrong?"

"Ah, there you are, Firefly." the queen of Saturn smiled at her only daughter.

"Sorry, I was discussing about some books with Mercury."

"Anyway, I got this." the queen pulled a letter with an insignia on it.

"What's that?"

"A letter from the king of Orion system." the queen answered and Princess Saturn blushed.

"Oh…"

"So, did Prince Vega ask you to marry him?"

"Mom!!"

"I'm just kidding, honey."

"I'm going for a walk. I'll be at the garden if you look for me, Mom."

"Okay, dear."

"Don't laugh at me…" Princess Saturn growled while Princess Mercury was laughing so hard that her face turned red.

"Sorry. It's just…it's just too funny." Mercury tried to stifle her laugh.

"Yeah, right."

"Umm…Firefly, I have to go. I have to meet…well…you-know-who." Mercury was blushing furiously.

"Alright. See you." Saturn grinned.

Princess Saturn turned back to gather more flowers. She was humming softly song that Princess Neptune has taught her.

"Nice song." a deep masculine voice appeared behind her. Saturn turned her face only to find a handsome face stared back at her with a smile plastered on his face.

"Hi, Vega." she said cheerfully. "So, explain about the letter."

"I think it was just a formal letter from our kingdom."

"Yeah, right." Saturn rolled her eyes. "What happened really?"

Prince Vega sighed. "My father found me when I was painting in my room. I was painting a picture of you."

"And?"

"He wrote a letter to your parents and my friends laughed their asses off at me." Vega growled. Saturn cracked up and rolled in the grass with laughter.

"My God, I should have seen your face back then."

"Oh, stop it or I'll kiss you!"

"You wouldn't dare."

"Try me." Vega said as he pulled her lover to his embrace and kissed her rosy lips passionately.

"Wow…" Saturn sighed as Vega's lips left hers.

"You like that don't you."

"Very."

---------- end of dream ----------

"Hotaru…Hotaru…" Heero gently shook the unconscious girl in his arms. Hotaru's eyes fluttered open and they were staring straightly at a pair of Prussian blue eyes.

"Heero-kun…" she started. "What happened?"

"We were hit by some light and got unconscious." Heero answered. "I just woke a few minutes ago."

"Oh…" Hotaru tore her gaze and suddenly remembered her dream. Her head snapped back to Heero who was staring at the crystals. Hotaru's lips trembled. She remembered that face, those eyes, the nose, the hair, those hands, and the warmth. Heero was Vega, Vega was Heero. Hotaru realized that the prince that appeared in her dreams were Heero's incarnation, Prince Vega. Hoteru choked back a sob and Heero turned his head to the petite girl at his arms. Those beautiful eyes of her glazed over with tears that suddenly fell to the delicate skin of her face.

"What's wrong?" Heero asked as he wiped the tears.

"No…nothing…" Hotaru answered.

"You're lying." Heero smiled softly. "My princess, Saturn."

Hotaru froze, she looked at Heero as his handsome face got closer and finally, his soft lips met her owns. Hotaru closed her eyes and circled her arms around Heero's neck. Heero pulled from the kiss and stared at Hotaru's face.

"I'm sorry…" he said.

"For what?"

"I've failed…to protect you…" Heero said and Hotaru's eyes flooded with tears once again.

"No! You were always with me. I could fight after your death just because I believed that we'll meet again in the future."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Do you still love me?"

"With all my heart, Heero."

"Not Vega."

"In front of me IS Heero, not Vega. Vega…" she pointed to the crystals. "…is there. Sleeping peacefully with Saturn.

"I love you."

"I know…from your eyes now."

"Hotaru-chan…" Heero held her. "Anata wa siawase nara…boku mo siawase desu…"(1)

"You're my happiness, Heero-kun."

"Let's go back."

"Yes."

Heero got up and pulled Hotaru with him. He took her hand and closed his eyes to concentrate, Hotaru followed him. Both of their bodies glowed. The sign of Saturn appeared on Hotaru's forehead, and a Prussian blue crystal appeared on Heero's forehead. And they vanished.

(1) If you're happy…I'll be happy, too.

That's enough. I'm too lazy to write about Mako-chan and Tro-kun in this chapter. It took all my will to dragged my own ass from the bed to continue this chapter and I can only hope that you'll like it. Well, please review this chapter so I'll get motivation to write more. Good bye and see ya in the next chapter.
