Here it is the Chapter one!! I have to admit this one was rather interesting for me to write. I had to do a little research, but I won't bore you with details. This chapter might be boring, I don't know, let me know. You have to know these facts so bare with me people!! ^_^
Disclaimer: Look on the Prologue for it!!!

Chapter one: Who are the Tsuki-no-Shinobi?
"Hai, mother," said Tsukino Usagi into the cordless phone supported between her cheek and shoulder as she hurried around the dorm, trying to get ready for school. "Iie, I won't. Look, I'm going to be late, I'll call you after school." Usagi rolled her eyes at what her mother said. "Alright, aishiteru, all of you. Sayonara!"
Usagi hung up the phone and the rushed around the room, trying to finish getting ready for school. She was cursing under her breath, annoyed that her mother had felt that she needed to call her to make sure she made it in time to school. She wondered how her family could be so dense. She had lived with them for two years before she took off for the Sanc Kingdom and they hadn't realized that the way she acted was just that; an act. She only wore her long blonde hair up into those two silly meatballs because it gave her the look she had been going for; childish, and she only allowed that look of innocence to be visible in her dark ocean blue eyes as a front. She had not been able to let the enemy know of how she truly was. That she was an emotionless soldier, and that her only sole purpose in life was to complete her missions or die trying. When Operation Meteor had finally been put into affect, then she had left her surrogate family to fight for peace and for freedom from the Alliance.
Tsukino Usagi, as she was named by her adoptive family, was a war orphan. Her parents were living in the Sanc Kingdom in 176 A.C. when the Alliance first dispatched the first mobile suit corps, the "Specials," to the colonies. The mobile suits placed the colonies under military control. During that time communication between colonies was disrupted, and colony solidarity was hindered.
In 177 A.C. the Alliance's military domination of Earth intensified. The Specials racked up numerous achievements in battle, gaining power and influence. In 180 A.C. King Peacecraft advocated "total pacifism." Princess Relena was born that same year as well as Usagi and she was named Usagi Serenity DeLuna. Her parents were Roberto DeLuna and her mother was Kaze DeLuna Aino. Her parents were the personal advisors to King Peacecraft.
The Peacecraft royal family, which ruled one of the Alliance's member nations, received support from some other countries for its policy of "total pacifism." This however, apparently didn't bode well for the Alliance. In 182 A.C., when Princess Relena and Usagi had been 2 years old, the Alliance launched a surprise attack on the capital of King Peacecraft's Sanc Kingdom.
The Kingdom was destroyed in the course of the Alliance's intervention. King Peacecraft was killed, and so was his entire court of dignitaries and advisors. Usagi's parents were killed as well. Prince Milliardo and Princess Relena went missing and Usagi disappeared as well, and it was reported that she had been killed in the attack, even if her body was never found.
A few days after the attack, Dr. P, one of the scientists that had escaped the Alliance's mobile suit development team in the year 175 A.C., found a two-year-old Usagi wandering close to the ruins of the Sanc Kingdom. The girl had no memory of her self or her life, and the only thing that she remembered was the single name Usagi.
Dr. P took her in and started her training immediately. She trained her and four other girls that were war orphans as well to become the future Tsuki-no-Shinobi.
They were given code names. Usagi was Tsuki, which meant moon in Japanese. The second girl, whose name was Minako, was given the name Blaze. The third girl, whose name was Makoto, was given the name Electro. The fourth girl, whose name was Rei, was given the name Pyro. And the fifth and final girl, whose name was Ami, was given the name Subzero.
Minako, or formally known as Aino Minako was the daughter of Chiba Aino Momo, sister of Aino Kaze, Usagi's mother. Kaze's sister, her husband; Chiba Kurai and their two year old daughter had been visiting the Sanc Kingdom when the Alliance attacked. Minako's parents were killed and like Usagi she lost her memory as well. So, even if they didn't know it, Usagi and Minako were cousins.
Makoto, or Kino Makoto, was an orphan to begin with. Her parents were killed in a car crash when she was barely a few months old. She had been living in an orphanage in the Sanc Kingdom when the Alliance attacked. The attack destroyed the orphanage, killing most of the children and the priest and nuns that ran it. Makoto was one of the lucky ones that survived the attack.
Rei or Hino Rei was a young priestess in training in a temple in the Sanc Kingdom when the Alliance attacked. Her temple was hit and her grandfather, who ran the temple, was killed along with her father, mother, and her two month old twin brothers. She was the sole survivor of the hit.
Ami or Mizuno Ami was the daughter of the famous Dr. Mizuno. Ami's father, who had been in the rebel army opposing the Alliance, was killed in battle before she was born. Her mother, Dr. Mizuno started raising her daughter on her own. Just out of med school, she became the personal physician of King Peacecraft. During the attack, Ami's mother was killed when she used her own body to shield Ami when the room they were in collapsed, Ami managed to survive because of her mother.
Dr. P found the five girls after the attack. All five of them were orphans, believed to be dead, so it wouldn't arise any suspicions when they disappeared. All five girls grew up together, training long and hard to one day end the war.
They were beaten when they showed weakness or emotions; they were submitted to the worst kind of torture all for the sake of peace. They were turned into lethal weapons.
By age seven they were allowed to leave the training room and go into the world to experience the world outside. They were each given specific missions for each to complete and they were set free. They were given one week.
Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako; or Tsuki, Subzero, Pyro, Electro, and Blaze were given the mission to find the boys that would one day become the Gundam pilots.
