Chapter Six

Serena: I'm worried, did we kill them completly?

Quatre: If we did, Duo can bring them back.

Lita: Mina!!!!!! We're tired of losing!!! We need the power or Venus!!!!

Ami: We're almost out of time.

Duo: Gimme a sec...

Mina: Dammit!!!! What'd you do to my hair, Heero?!?!?!

Heero: Nothing but soap and water.

Mina: How can I fight for love and justice looking like I went through a furnace? My hair's so DRY!!!!!!!

Quatre: Mina! *hugs her* You don't have to deal with Wufei anymore!!

Mina: I was looking forward to that basic training, what I have learned...it's really fun.

Quatre: *lets go* I'll teach you.

Mina: If you ever see me again, that is.

Quatre: I will. Don't worry, I will.

Duo: Oh. My. God.

Heero: I'm me! I'm myself!! I have a gun!!!

Serena: Not in front of Rini!!

Mina: He means a gun Serena, with bullets, and a triggor, and impossible aiming.

Serena: Oh. THOSE guns.

Mina: Hmmmm... *find her wand and grins at the scouts* I used to hate this thing, wishing I'd never see it again, but... I'm sooooo happy to see it now. Venus Star Power!!! *transforms and grins* Now, Serena, you hit me aweful hard... Venus Love Chain Encircle! *snatches Serena's wand from her hand* Maybe I shouldn't let you play with this for a while....

Lita: *laughing* Venus's back!! Now we'll win!! Being a scout is a woman's job! *looks teasingly at Heero* And we're good at it, too.

Heero: Yes, you are.

Duo: How could you say that?

Heero: How can you not?

Duo: I've never seen them in action.

Ami: Well, you won't be able to claim that for long.

Serena: Good thing my wand's already out!!!

Venus: Yup, and I have it.

Serena: *whining* Gimme it back.

Venus: Okay, well, Ami, *tosses Serena her wand* what time does the library close?

Ami: On saturdays... I think 5.

Venus: Then, where could we go that'd be okay with your mom?

Ami: Rei's Shrine.

Venus: Okay, write your mom a note saying you were really sorry, but we idn't have all of our books, and the other girls needed to study too, so we all met up at Rei's shrine, and will probably spend the night.

Ami: Got it.

Venus: Uh, I don't know what we'll do with these two.

Lita: They can always...watch to see us in action.

Venus: Fine with me.

Duo: Oh God. I can't stay around here all night.

Venus: You didn't seem to mind that prospect when you first saw Ami.

Quatre laughed as Duo blushed as he helplessly tried to think of a witty retort.

Venus: MmmmmmHhhhhhhhMmmmmmm.

Lita and other scouts transform and run out.

The two clueless boys follow the group of six girls, and only Heero knew what was in store for them.

*After Fight*

Duo: That certainly was interesting.

Quatre: Ow, ow, ow, ow...

Venus: Oh, you baby!! It's just another cut!!!

Quatre: Have you seen how many cuts I have?

Venus: ...No.

Quatre: Yeh, look at all the ones on my face.

Mina: *turned back* Okay, I've had worse, but...

Quatre: OW!!!! *pulls shirt over his head* Dammit!!

Mina: Oh my gosh.

Ami: I'll get my mom's med bag. *she leaves and comes back shortly and cleans and bandages the scratch that ran the length of his back*

Mina: I better call my mom, and tell her I'm going to come by and pick up my stuff to spend the night, of course that good for naught Pilot didn't think about that.

Quatre: He may be a bad girl by he's one helluva Pilot.

Rei: Not bad looking either.

Quatre: I don't really look at that.

Rei: Duo does.

Ami: He's not gay.

Rei: Hmph, I think so.

Lita: When I said I thought Duo sounded cute I'd never seen him before. But... I like his hat.

Serena: You like hats too much.

Lita:" What's this I hear about a man named Wolfy thinkin' women are weak?

Duo: Wufei. And I thought so, too, but, some women are. You guys aren't, but...some are.

Ami: There ya go.

Mina leaves and comes back with her stuff and Quatre and Duo decide they should probably get Heero home soon, it was late, and he was going balistic over his Gundam.

Quatre: Thanks, Ami, for-

Ami: No problem, Quatre. You helped Mina, and, as a Scout I didn't even stop to think about it.

Quatre: Mina...

Mina: I'll miss you guys.

Quatre: I'll miss you.

Rei: I'll miss you.

Heero: *playing along* I'll miss you guys.

The two laugh. Serena sighs and grins.

Serena: Ah, armor.

Ami: Actually Serena, it's amore.

Serena: Ami!!!! Why do you always have to correct meeeeee?!

Ami: Sorry.

Lita: Quatre, if you're gonna kiss her get it over with!! Ami's mom's hollerin' for you three to go home!

Quatre: I- *turns away* We need to go.

As they leave Mina smirks.

Mina: They'll need a scout. I'll go behind them, just to make sure, Rei or Lita can come, but Serena's used a lot of energy, Rini's asleep and Ami's mom would notice if Ami was gone.

Rei: I'll come. *the girls quietly transform outside and follow the gang of men* I have to admit, I kinda like Heero. He's so...serious, and pompus. I wish I had that kind of reassurance.

Venus: You're plenty conceited, Mars.

Mars: You're insecure, dear. Remember when we all fought over that Kindergarten teacher? You were the worst of all of us!!

Venus: Oh stop making sense!!!!!!

Mars: You know they don't need protection.

Venus: They just said your anme.

Mars: Shuttup, then!!

Heero: What about that Rei girl?

Quatre: She's a bit bossy, and sorta...mean? Ugh, she reminds me of you.

Duo: I liked Ami. She was so sweet. And she's smart.

Quatre: Ya, so's Mina.

Duo: You're makin' me sick, Quatre.

Heero: Yeah, really, get over ti, nothing ever comes out of these situations. We get called away and go into space and she forgets about you.

Quatre: You're right.

Venus: No he's not. I wouldn't forget him, Mars, how could I? After all he did for me, for the scouts.

Mars: Did you hear that?

Venus: No.

A Large ant-like thing leaps from the tree nearest them and lands on Venus.

Mars: Venus!!!!!

Venus: Rei get outta here, I'll be fine!

Mars: What do you take me for? An idiot? No way I'm leaving you here!!!

Venus turns back into Mina when the thing has taken most of her energy, and she passes out. Mars screams at her friend but there is no reply.

Mars: Not again!!! Mars Fire Suround!!! *the ant thing only glances at Mars before it leaps off of Mina*

Quatre: Mina!!!!!!! *runs over and picks her up gently, and cradles her to his chest* Mina wake up. Mina please open your eyes.

Mars: *holds up a piece of paper* Mars Fireball charge!!! *throws it onto ant* Mars Fire Suround!!!!

Ant: Ahhhhhhhhh!! Hot!! Hot!!!! *withers into a pile of dust*

Mars: Mina. *looks over at Quatre helplessly*

Mina: Quatre...

Quatre: I'm here, Mina, c'mon act alive for me.

Mina: Am I Duo or something?

Quatre: *laughs shortly* No. You're Mina, through and through.

Mina: Good. *smiles* I was worried for a second there.

Quatre: Mina, don't you ever scare me like that again!!

Mina: I can't stop being a Sailor Scout.

Quatre: Just don't die ever again.

Mina: Don't worry, I intend to stay alive.

The others stood around as Quatre kissed the girl's lips.
