Chapter 3

Hilde looked over into Duo's worried eyes. A clear plastic thing was placed over her mouth and she didn't feel like looking to it, but knew what it was cause it helped her breath.

Her mind wandered to the stranger named Trowa Barton and she looked away from Duo. Her right arm started to throb now in the area around her elbow. Of all the days, she had to get in a wreck, today.

She let out a sigh of breath and the blackness took over her view and she drifted into a deep sleep.

Relena looked through her large closet of cloths while putting on her slip on high heels. She found the dress she was looking for, it was a creamy white and was nice on her slim body. She took it and went into the bathroom, checking the time, thirty minutes till her dinner date.

Not to long after, she came out fully dressed having primped herself up the hour before.

She then grabbed her keys and headed outside to her sliver Dodge Neon and started the ignition to head off toward Heero's arranged meeting.

Hilde groaned and moved around a bit, noticing a soft material over her body and something wrapped her right elbow.

The only sound she heard was a soft hum which she came to realize was an AC vent. There was a soft shuffle near her and she didn't want to open her eyes, knowing it was probably Duo and if he saw her open her eyes he would begin to ravage her with questions.

She was surprised he hadn't came over here already since she moved. She knew she might be questioned, but she opened her eyes anyway and looked over to the figure.

A smile appeared on her face. It was Quatre.

"Hello, Hilde." He said in a soft caring voice.

"Hey, Quatre. I thought you had work." She looked concerned.

He laughed lightly. "Work can wait, you're more important than that right now."

Hilde's smile returned. "Quatre, you're so sweet."

Quatre's smile warmed up more. "Think nothing of it. You're my best friend and you what to know something funny?"

She hummed.

"Duo is quite the person. He was so freaked and worried about you that the doctors had to sedate him." He smiled wider as he heard her soft tuned laugh reverberate through the small white room.

"He worries way too much over me, I must stop bringing him lunch, I think I'm performing some spell I don't know of."

Quatre laughed this time. "Seems like it, but they insist they've had worse."

Hilde hummed again. "They'll probably charge that onto my bill."

Quatre grinned. "Nah, I took care of your bill, you are in no way to be taking care of such money."

Hilde looked to him and frowned. "Quatre! It's my problem you didn't have to do that."

Quatre got up and went to her, taking her hand. "It's ok, you needed it, plus my uncle was more than willing to help with the expense as well."

Hilde sighed. That was true, the lawyer firm she worked at was owned my Quatre's Uncle. One of the many small firms that worked in their line of business. Quatre would have been in Arabia if it weren't for the fact he wanted to stay here where he was close to his friends.

"Quatre you truly are one of a kind, thank you so much. Now don't go and pull any of these stunts again, you hear me?" She smiled.

He laughed. "Alright, I promise." He looked down to her sparkling violet colored eyes. "The doctors said you can be out by tomorrow morning, but you still need that day off, so I will tell Mr. Crimack. I probably shouldn't bother cause they sent him an e-mail, but oh well." He sighed to himself.

Hilde smile appeared yet again. "I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm really lucky to have a friend like you, Quatre."
