Warnings: Some angst, fluff, big party, be prepared for a lot of conversation, and some perverted stuff. Enjoy!

Cat-Boy Mayhem Chapter 10: The Party

Like she had promised, Meilan had a party for her and Midi's engagement. Everyone on their apartment level was invited, including Une and Trieze, as well as a few co-workers. They each brought their cat-boys, but had them go into one of the spare rooms so they wouldn't get in the way. The room was sort of small, seeing as there were now ten cat-boys in it.

Either way both Solo and Triton were dressed for the occasion, wearing nearly the same outfit, with just a few slight differences other than color. The younger was wearing a dark green, silken suit that had no sleeves, while the other cat-boy had long sleeves, and his was black silk.

Now the kitten was very happy to see other cat-boys and was very socialable and affectionate with them. Though not too much so, for Solo seemed to be quite possessive of him.

"Are all my clones this affectionate," Trowa asked Duo quietly. He knew the old Triton was like that, and this new one seemed to be just the same way.

"I guess you could say that. Then again Solo was really affectionate with me when he first got here," the braded cat-boy replied, and looked at the other cat-boys there. One of them had a very unusual smell to him, long silver hair, and golden brown eyes. He also didn't seem interested in socializing. /What was his name? Inu Yasha? / Sounded even more odd for him to be named dog demon(1).

"Sorry for bothering you again Duo, but what was the name of that one, Zechs, or Millardo," the used-to-be legend asked. Shaking his head, he said for the umpteenth time, "Zechs. That's his name. Why do you keep asking?"

"I heard a rumor once, about a wild cat-boy who got his memories erased instead of one of these green collars, and his name sounded familiar to me," Trowa explained.

"It isn't a rumor," Kurama suddenly stated, appearing next to them. Looking to him confused, he continued with, "My old master was one of the few who performed the operation. His owner wanted him to be happy instead of depressed, so his memories were erased. Only when they sent him back to her, they supposedly gotten him mixed up with a cloned version of him. So no one knows who the original is."

"Are you saying Zechs may be the original," Duo asked, intrigued. If that was so, it would explain the claws. About to reply, Kurama was cut off by Yusuke who stated, "Do you always interrupt other's conversation? It's like you pop out of no where and say something about what they said."

"I am sorry Yusuke, if this irritates you. It's just a habit of mine. And besides, you always interrupt me, as if you need to make yourself known," the redhead answered, and smiled at the glare he received. It didn't really matter to the other cat-boy, he just found it odd how he never started his own conversations. The room was then very quiet, and it seemed an uncomfortable silence had fallen between them all.

Meanwhile, outside, Lady Une had approaced both Meilan and Midi, handing them a gift. She had Trieze right beside her, having no intention to leave him with a bunch of other cat-boys that could possibly -interest- him. That and to avoid unwanted violence.

"Congratulations you two. I hope you have a beautiful ceremony and have a long lasting marriage," she then stated, after handing her gift. It was then Wufei happened to be walking by, and wanting to tease her older sister, Meilan asked, "You asked my sister to marry you, correct Ms. Une?"

"Why yes, I did. In fact, I am still waiting for her reply," the German woman stated, looking at the other Chinese girl suspiciously. Now noticing she was being talked about with Lady, Wufei blushed, and started to walk off to another part of the room.

"Do not worry, my sister is just shy." Nodding to the statement, Une said her goodbyes, and decided to leave the party. She had done what she needed to. Seeing as she was gone, Wufei decided to pop out from behind her friend.

"Why do you hide from her? All she wants is a yes or a no," Heero stated, upset that she was used as a hiding place.

"She scares me a little bit. That's why," the Chinese girl replied, and looked about the room seeing what other girls her sister had invited. She recognized Kagome and Kikyo, but not quite the rest of them. Deciding to strike conversation, she asked, "What apartment area do they live in?"

"They don't live in this city. They live in Atlanta(2) I think," Heero replied, and started to eat some of the snacks. Snacks, the one thing they didn't have in the cat-boy room(3).

"Hey, everybody. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I don't like uncomfortable silences," Duo stated, destroying the quiet. Everyone nodded, and waited for him to continue.

"Now I'd like to say congratulations to Triton and Solo. Hope you have a happy union," he then added, everyone applauding lightly. The two green-eyed cat-boys next to him merely shook their heads, but continued to listen smiling. Waiting for it to get quiet again, their friend said, "I figure we could at least introduce ourselves, and make ourselves more comfortable with each other. I'll start, and anyone can go after me. My name is Duo, I'm from the wild, and my owner is Wufei."

Looking about, the others waited for someone to go next. Yet seeing as many of them were shy, Yusuke sat up, and stated, "Hi, my name is Yusuke. I'm also from the wild, but I was taken away from it earlier than him. Oh, and my owner is Kieko."

"My name is Kurama, another from the wild, and my current owner is Hiei." The redhead then nudged Trowa with his elbow lightly, and made the other green-eyed boy say, "My name is Trowa. It used to be No-Name, but my owner changed it before dying. The owner I have now is Quatre."

Everyone knew who Solo and Triton were so they skipped over them, and had the others say something. The first being a cat-boy with pink hair, and bright blue eyes.

"Um...my name is Shuichi(4), I'm from the wild, and I have the same owner as him," he stated nervously, pointing to his friend next to him. Glaring only slightly, the blonde haired cat-boy said, "My name is Eiri(5), also from the wild, and our owner doesn't allow us to call her by her name, so I can't say who she is."

"Ah I see. Anyone else," Duo asked, and looked towards the silver-haired one.

"Hmph. My name is Inu Yasha, I'm an original, and my owners are Kagome and Kikyo," he replied.

"Wow, you have two owners? How is that possible," another cat-boy who had long red hair asked.

"How should I know? The town they live in has weird rules," was his reply. Apparently this guy was grumpy as well as silent.

"You don't have to be rude about it. Anyway, my name is Hiro(6), I was also created, and my owner is the same as theirs." He then gestured to Shuichi and Eiri.

"Your owner wouldn't happen to be Relena would it," Trowa asked, on the verge of anger. The darker red-head shook his head, and the ex-legend sighed in relief. They must've belonged to some other girl who lived in a rich family. Either way Duo's plan had worked. Everyone was now more comfortable, though they knew better than to ask Inu Yasha something. There was still something so odd about him. For one his claws were always out.

Deciding not to dwell on the subject, the braded cat-boy talked to everyone about different things. About their owners, what their lives were like in the wild, and breeding. He really wondered about that last one. Was it possible for them to breed with their owners? If so, why didn't they know of this before?

"Kurama, you seem to know everything, but do you know why the thought of breeding with us hasn't come into our owners head's," Duo asked his friend.

"It has come up Duo. My owner was one of the ones that did realize that. Only she took advantage of me instead trying to breed," the red-head whispered. Was that how he was abused?

"Breeding with our owners isn't allowed around here. In fact, the laws against it were put into place so long ago, that females of today don't even realize sex can happen between them and their cat-boys. Maybe a few know, but they usually find out by accident," Inu Yasha suddenly stated, sounding smart. He hadn't heard what Kurama had just whispered, but he knew it was probably the wrong answer.

"What, have you thought about doing it with your owner," he then asked rudely.

"Well the thought yes. I just didn't know the rule there. Why are you answering anyway? I thought you didn't want to talk to any of us," Duo challenged verbally. Both then glared at one another and were just about ready to fight, but before they could...

"Inu Yasha sit!" It was with that, that the white-haired cat-boy(7) slammed into the ground with a loud thunk. Not that the braded one didn't get punishment as well. He was shocked for a brief moment.

"It's time to go you guys," one of the girls said, and each left the party. As Duo left though, he kept looking at his owner strangely. Had the thought of having sex with him all ready go through her mind, or was she still clueless about the whole thing? Afterward, when everyone was gone, Triton and Solo cuddled on the bed.

"That was so much fun! Wasn't it? I mean, I had never met so many cat-boys before. Sure, that one named Inu Yasha was mean, but the rest were nice," the kitten started to babble. It was late at night around this time, and all Solo wanted to do was sleep.

"Are you listening to me," he then heard Triton ask. Deciding to silence him, he did what he had always wanted to do with his old friend, he kissed him. This caused the kitten to gasp, and allowed the older of the two more access into his mouth. It didn't take long for him to respond, however, and he soon wrapped his arms around Solo's neck.

"Go to sleep," the blue-eyed cat-boy stated, breaking the kiss. He was too tired to do anymore than kiss right now, and he wanted to wait for that perfect moment anyway.

Sorry if it's a bit short, but I was kinda stuck again. Anyway, I'm off to write three things at once!! One being the next chapter for this, the next chapter to this other fic, and wait...I have upto four, no five things to start writing now!! Pity me please!! j/k

(1) My friend did some research, and found out that yasha means GIRL demon. It was so funny how he pissed off my friend, who loves Inu Yasha to death, with this information. Maybe he was meant to be a girl, but they changed it last minute? Or maybe they mean he's just a bitch, or that it's a bitch to be him! It would certainly explain why he's so moody! Anyway, just thought I'd make you laugh with that info.

(2) I chose that name on the spot! I did not know what to call the city they live in.

(3) The room the cat-boys are in, which is the bedroom Solo and Triton get to sleep in now. For this one is a guest room, and the main bedroom belongs to Meilan and Midi.

(4) Main character of Gravitation! You guys should see this anime, it's the first one to ever really have a gay couple as the main pairing!

(5) Love interest to the main character of Gravitation! By the way, I forgot the name of like, the only female character that shows up in the first three eps, (which are all I've seen so far), so that's why I had him say they couldn't say her name.

(6) A guy from Gravitation!

(7) He's not a cat-boy, but a dog-boy. It will be explained later on in the fic.

-Side note: I noticed a pattern with Kurama and Yusuke. Whenever they're in a room together with Duo, Kurama always interrupts his conversations with others by giving a confirmation answer, then explains how he knows it because of his owner. Then before he can add more, Yusuke says it for him instead, interrupting him. I'll stop that.
