Gundam Wing Fan Fiction ❯ Changes Of The Heart ❯ Epilogue

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

GW and its characters don't belong to me but to Sunrise/SOTSU Agency, Bandai etc etc.

Epilogue to Changes of the Heart. Okay, please indulge my need for sappiness here-it rarely surfaces so when it does it must be purged from my mind so I can get back to writing lemons. Yea, so Quatre and Relena have a few kids, heck his father had twenty-nine, well thirty counting Quatre, so this number isn't near as bad plus the Winner couple have had no help from science. All right then, I'm shutting up now and hoping that you guys enjoy this epilogue to Changes of the Heart.

AC 212...

"Colton Lawrence Winner." Trowa read out loud the name from the paper. "They're stopping after this one aren't they?"

Heero closed the fridge door before plopping into a chair at the table across from Trowa. "When I talked to Relena she said this was it."

Trowa smirked. "All natural too. What a gal. I vaguely remember Quatre telling me ages ago he had always thought 5 was a good number of children to have."

Heero slumped back into the wood chair. "She sounded so happy, as did Quatre." Heero took a bite of cereal. "Next time they find themselves up this way they want to have dinner with us."

Trowa was still looking down reading the paper that laid flat down on the table; he had just swallowed a spoonful of his cereal. "Sounds good." Trowa finished off his cereal quickly looking at his watch. "Damn it Heero. If we don't get ready now we'll be late for the concert."

Heero looked up at Trowa and with a half ass grin he cocked his brow. "Then it simply means we'll have to shower together."

Trowa returned his own smart-ass look. "That'll make us even later."

"Not if we make it quick." Heero said, him and Trowa both looking out of the corners of their eyes at the sink and then the stairs.

Trowa narrowed his eyes. "You do know who the last one to make it to the shower has to be, don't you?"

Heero's eyes went wide as the two men jumped up from the table throwing their plastic bowls and silver spoons in the sink and then darted to the stairs;

Trowa was quicker and raced up the stairs ahead of Heero, his voice raised. "Looks like you have to be the uke." His laughter seemed to fill the townhouse.

Heero growled but it was in good humor. We'll just see about that, Heero silently warned Trowa before taking off up the stairs.

They had indeed taken their vacation to L2 and had, as agreed, decided to just be friends, but that ended after only a couple of months and the men again found themselves locked together in union as lovers. They then moved to L3 where they still resided, having started their own security business, dealing with the most high tech and cutting edge security systems available, for even though they now lived in an age of peace, crime and criminals still existed. They were even now toying with the idea of opening their own investigative agency on the side.

"Mommy! Mommy!" The four older Winner children ran full force to encircle their mother who had just walked into the manor. Relena laughed cheerfully as she knelt down to accept the hugs and kisses of her children. Behind her was Quatre who was holding in his hand an infant carrier that cradled the newest Winner arrival. He placed the carrier down and took out the baby, as its siblings were now circling around him to see their new brother.

"I wanted a sister." Three year-old Alexis frowned in a full pout that included the extension of her lower lip. Being the youngest, until now wasn't to bad but being the only girl drove her nuts.

"I'm know sweetie." Quatre kissed her cheek, the girl's platinum blond lashes fluttered against his chin. "Why don't just you and me go out later and I'll get you that doll and tea set you've been wanting so badly, then...maybe some ice cream?"

The girl's light blue eyes lit up. "Okay daddy." She sighed with a big smile on her face, as her mother released a sigh of her own.

"I swear Quatre you spoil that girl horribly."

Quatre's grin grew wide. "A father's privilege when it comes to his daughter."

A few days before the birth of what would be their first child Quatre and Relena had decided to renew their wedding vows in a small simple ceremony of family and friends. It was something they knew they didn't have to do, but wanted to do to celebrate the new life they were bringing into the world, as well as the new life and love between each other they were starting together. Life as a real couple free of the lies and betrayals of the past. Three weeks later the twin boys, Roarke and Xavier were born.

The boys were now seven and both sported the white gold hair and light blue eyes of their father, though they weren't identical, in fact everyone had begun to comment on how much Roarke was beginning to look like his uncle Milliardo.

Garrett was born next. The boy was now five and not only did he look exactly like his father but he also seemed to have picked up his musical genius already on his way to master the piano and violin as well as the flute that his uncle Trowa had given him on his fifth birthday; but the boy already had a long list of the instruments he wanted for his next birthday. Alexis was born a little over two years later.

Her birth had been the most difficult but in Quatre's eyes it had been the most memorable and exciting because as he said it gave him a little girl to spoil just as much as his wife, and how he loved to spoil his girls.

He did his fair share of doting on his boys as well. They had been the first on their block to have an entire wing added just to house for their own game room. It was complete with every full-sized arcade game machines that could be found in the known universe and any game machine that wasn't available Quatre simply had it custom made. The room also housed a mini bar full of snacks, colas and juices along with game tables such as billiards and fuse ball, etc. and also a small but elaborate entertainment center and stereo sound system.

And now there was little baby Colton.

Relena warm heatedly smiled stoking the light blond fuzz of the boy's head and staring into the soft, light blue eyes that for now only seemed to open half way before closing shut again. "Another blue-eyed blonde like you Quatre. Not that I'm complaining, but out of five you think one would at least favor me."

Quatre wrapped an arm around his wife's shoulders. "Just look at Colt. I do believe he has your nose and chin, heck, his ears alone are just like yours. Yep. I'd say a good combination of the two of us."

Relena chuckled. "Okay, okay dear, you've made your point."

Quatre leaned over and kissed her deeply. "I love you."

"Me too." She smiled licking his taste from her lips. But the intimate moment and family reunion was momentarily interrupted when Simon came into the room to announce that dinner was only ten minutes away.

The children all scampered up the stairs at their father's orders to wash up, he following closely the path of his children; Alexis at times still needed help having only been potty trained for two months. And Relena, still holding her youngest child against her shoulder slowly ascended the staircase, sighing softly in quiet reflection and gratitude of the blessings of what were, second chances.
