Gundam Wing Fan Fiction ❯ Dead Eyes ❯ Dead Eyes - Part II ( Chapter 2 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Well I suppose I got enough comments to spit out another chapter.

Warnings: Possible blood, swearing, yaoi (that's not really something to be scared of, is it, YA HOMOPHOBIC ASSHOLES!)
Partners: 2x5 (Maybe. Haven't decided if they're actually gonna get with it.)
3x4 (Not much here. Just peeps knowing that they are in fact together.)
OKAY, HERE'S THE DEAL: I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR I HAVE SPELLING MISTAKES. WHY? BECAUSE I LIVE IN CANADA. MOST OF YOU OUT THERE LIVE IN THE U.S. SOME OF YOU LIVE IN ENGLAND, FRANCE, FINLAND, WHATEVER OTHER PLACES USE ROMAN NUMERALS. I DON'T CARE. POINT IS, WE'VE ALL GOT OUR OWN LITTLE WAY OF SPELLING WORDS. IF THEY'RE NOT RIGHT IN YOUR LANGUISH, THEY'RE PROBABLY RIGHT IN MINE!
SO DON'T BITCH!!!!!
(...or it could just be from my own laziness, but do I really want to tell you guys that? No.)

Part II (Wu's POV)

I look up from my book at the direction the disturbing noise has been coming. I frown. Sounds like Duo, but Quatre was with him right now. He should have got Duo to calm down by now.

I know how Duo hates the quiet. If someone's not with him he'll make as much noise as he possibly can. I scuttle (like a crab!) out of the library down the hall towards the toneless noise.

As I go farther down, I see the bathroom door open. It's defiantly where Duo is. I wouldn't be so shocked if I hadn't seen a puddle of blood slowly streaming onto the wooden hallways.

For a moment I stay frozen. So ice cold. The humming's become more quiet, strained. I once again had control of my body as I raced to the door, slipped on a puddle of blood and fell on my back.

It would have been funny, if it weren't the situation. I looked in the bright bathroom. My eyes widened.

There is roughly two gallons of blood in your body. There are roughly (and I mean roughly) four litres in a gallon. Take a one litre jug of milk and spill it all over the floor. See how much of a mess it makes? Try eight litres of blood.

Needless to say, there was a lot.

I crawled over to him and pulled him into my lap. His head lolled against my thigh. He was so cold. I was starting to panic. His eyes weren't focusing!

"Trowa! Quatre, Heero!" I wail. I can feel read hot tears sliding down my cheeks. "Oh Jesus, Duo. Don't die. You're stronger than this. Hang on Duo, you're going to be okay."

Quatre comes racing down the hall and skids past the door. He comes back and pales four shades. I cannot help but feel an great hatred to Quatre. He was supposed to be watching Duo. Where had he gone?

Quatre answered my unasked question, "I-I fell asleep. Oh god! Wufei, I-I had no idea," he babbled as his eyes watered.

"Shut up and go phone 911 Quatre," I said suprisingly emotionlessly. He scrambled out the door and down the hallway to the phone.

I turned back to Duo, my throat tightened and choked. I grabbed a towel off a hook and pressed it tightly to his arms. "Hold on Duo, just hold on," I whispered in his ear beside my chin.

After that, it was a freezing moment in time where you cannot tell how long it has been. It felt like hours, yet it was seconds. Suddenly paramedics flooded the small bathroom. They pulled Duo away from me, but I kept a vice grip on his body. They pried my arms off of him and loaded him into a stretcher.

I sat there in the puddle of Duo's life source in shock. I don't know how long I sat there. The house was deadly silent. The only way I was able to tell that time had gone by was the light in the window grew dark.

Trowa came in later. Where had he been? he knelt down to me where I sat and watched me silently. I turned my head to me. I caught a look of myself in the mirror. I looked shocked, frightened. Not like myself.

"Heero and I were out at the supermarket picking up food for Quatre. We only got back two hours ago." He took a deep breath and let it out."Duo's at the Marian's Hospital. He's stable now, but they don't know if he'll stay that way. He hasn't woken up." Trowa studied the linoleum floors with great interest. "Wufei, he needs you. He connects with you. Snap out of it."

I frowned and stood up. My muscles were cramped from staying in the same position for so long. "I looked up into Trowa's cool eyes. "Take me to him."

TO BE CONTINUE (Most likely)

I know it was short. Very short, but I had a hella lot happening in my life right now. It's true I'm lazy, but I also had a brain/writing freeze thingie happening.

Constructive Criticisms is welcome. I have a long way to go before I'm any good.
