"Forgive me. Golbez has taken the Crystal."

Trowa lowered his head as he knelt down to king Giott. The king sighed."One Crystal left... We must protect."

Duo agreed."Yes. Where can we find it?"

"In the sealed cave to the southwest, where Golbez is now heading. Worry not. He cannot enter without the key. I have a request."

Trowa stood up."Anything. After all, we lost your Crystal to Golbez."

"Request you retrieve the seven Crystals at the Tower of Babil."

"I presume it will be fortified..."Yang mentioned.

Giott nodded."My plan! Our tanks will distract them. You sneak in. You seize the Crystals. Now or never, before Golbez returns from the sealed cave."

"What do you think?"Heero turned to the others raising his eyebrow.

"A large force might be waiting."said Quatre.

"It's a risk."muttered Duo.

"As they say, 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained.'" said Yang.

"Like Giott said, now might be our only chance."Heero crossed his arms.

"Alright."said Trowa."We'll go to the tower to retake the Crystals."

"Excellent! The exit is at the bottom of the castle, whenever you are ready. Good luck."

They left the throne room, and headed to the bottom of the castle where the next part of their journey awaited.

"So...this is the tower of Babil?"asked Duo as they snuck around outside the side of the large tower.

"Sh! Yes, Duo it is."whispered Heero. Suddenly they heard army tanks approaching and then started to fire at the Babil Tower.

"That's the signal! Let's go inside."Trowa said watching all types of monsters leave the tower to battle with the tanks.

they all nodded and ran inside the tower unseen.

The tower was large. It was quiet. Too quiet for their liking. The stench of monsters seeped through the air. They traveling was rather sinple. There was less monsters yet a long ways to walk. After eraching the third floor they decided to rest.

"Wow, what a place. I'm totally exausted."Quatre sighed leaning against the wall.

"I knew it'd be difficult but this is rediculous."Duo looked over at Trowa."How much longer do you think it is?"

"I don't know. So we can't rest for long, we must hurry before Golbez returns, remember? "

They nodded.

Duo sat walked over to Quatre."So, glad to be back?"

Quatre laughed slightly."Of course. Well I had too many reasons to come back, I can't really explain them all. I just know that I feel that there is a reason for me to help."

"You don't have to explain. I'm just glad you're back."Duo smiled.Duo leaned in for a whisper."I bet you Trowa's glad your back, he's been worrying like crazy about you."

Quatre blinked and blushed slightly."R-really?"

"Yeah, I had to cheer him up afew times because you were all he was thinking about since he thought you were gone for good. He really likes you."

Quatre felt heat spread over his cheeks."Oh... I never really got a chance to talk with him in private, due to all of what is going on. I hope I get a chance to soon... I hope he doesn't feel too bad about what happened."

Just then, "Hey, Duo, Quatre! What are you whispering about? We're just about to start again."Heero called.

They both nodded.

So their journey continued.They soon came upon a large doorway.

"It's locked."muttered Duo pulling at the door.

"Forget it for now. Alright Duo? Remember we need the crystals from the top floor."Heero told him. Duo nodded.

It was yet a long journey to the top but they finally made it, only to see a old man working with mechanicle devices and talking with a tall, red clocked man.

the man, which looked like a doctor spoke."Have a safe trip, Master Rubicant."

"Not to worry. Eblan has been decimated along with its Ninjas. Take care of things until I return."

The doctor activated the device and the one called Rubicant diappeared. Then the doctor danced around in glee."Uwee-hee-heee!!Golbez and Rubicant are gone! Time to party!"

Quatre blinked."What's with him?"

"Shh."Duo hushed.

The doctor turned around."Who's there?!" He demanded.

Trowa blinked.

"Trowa! How'd you get up here!?"

"Caught you at a bad time, eh? Your buddy Rubicant's gone. Whatever will you do now?" Heero laughed slightly.

"Gah, disrespecting me! You nincompoop! Though I'm not one of the four fiends, I, Dr. Lugae am the brains of Golbez's operation! On my honor, I will protect this tower!"

"That's a laugh!"spatted Heero.

"I've heard enough out of you! Me great creation will shut your pie hole soon enough!"

From behind a huge mechanical robot appeared and walked past Dr. Lugae. It buzzed and creaked as it walked. It seemed as if it wasn't functioning properly.

"Balnab, Attack!"Lugae ordered.

The robot groaned and hit the doctor."Yeow!! Balnab! Over there beat them up!" He pointed to Trowa and the others.

The robot fizzled and began to attack the others.

"You need more oil!"Lugae exclaimed spilling oil over the robots joints.

It then walked towards the others.

Trowa easily defeated the mechanical robot with a swing of the sword. It was a patetic attept of protecting the tower. The robot was on the ground sliced in two.

"My baby! Dang! I'll control it myself!" Lugae jumped in the hatch in the back of the robot and began to look at the controls."What's this button...." He hit the button and BOOM! The entire thing burst into flames sending the group to the ground due to the explosion.

The doctor jumped up from the mess and brushed himself off."DANG IT! Okay, time to get serious! No more games! Transform!" He pressed a button that was on a switch that he held in his hand. Suddenly metal joints exploded from the doctors body. The flesh was no longer there. The only thing left was a metal body.

"He's a robot!?"Duo gasped.

"I-am-Lugaborg-you-will-all-die." A shot of poison gas came from him and sprayed over the group, they were poisoned and stunned by the gas. A laser shot out just missing Quatre who had collapsed on the floor.

Sudenly the poison was lifted... The cure had come from the robot..

"What the...?" Did he just heal us?!" exclaimed Heero getting up.

"Who cares! Just watch out!" Trowa explained.

"Who cares! Just watch out!" Trowa explained.

"How're we going to get near it!?"Yang asked.

"I... just stay on guard we'll find a way!" Trowa replied.

"I know how!"

Trowa turned as Quatre ran past them.

"Quatre?!" Trowa blinked.

"Trowa watch it!" A mechanical arm flew past hitting Trowa.

"Trowa!"Quatre cried out, eh then turned to the doctor glaring widely."You will die..."Quatre snapped out his chain whip and slung it towards Lugaborg making it wrap around its arm. Quatre pulled back hard but the robot seemed stronger and pulled Quatre in closer."Agh..."

"What's he doing?! Is he crazy!?" Duo yelled, about to interfere but Yang stopped him.

"Duo, Quatre is a summoner. Just watch..."

"Watch?! What do you mean, watch?!"

"Shh..."

Quatre continued to pull and suddenly a image of a elderly man appeared above them clad in a long robe, he had clear white eyes and a long staff in one hand. The long grey hair and beard covered his body. It then held up the staff sending a crashing thunder to the tobot which began to fizzle and smoke about to explode to flames.

"You're-too-late...The tower...of Babil connects the underworld and overworld, and Robicant....has already taken...all to the surface...and my super cannons will blow the dwarves away! I-win!I-wiiin...." He uttered and laughed eeriely just before exploding.

Quatre pulled his whip away from the mess and turned to the others."The dwarves are in danger!"

Yang nodded."We must stop the cannons!"

Heero ran up ahead a little."What are we waiting for? Let's go!"

"The cannon room must be back this way, rememeber that door we passed, this key, that Dr. Lugae drpped during the battle must open the door!"Duo explained as they ran.

"Key? Duo, you're great!" Heero smiled and they kept running til they came to the doorway.

Duo quickly unlocked it and they ran in.

"Gha ha ha! Killing dwarves is fun!" The three soldiers laughed as they controled the cannons.

"You cowards!"Trowa yelled.

they turned."What the-- How'd you get in here! Kill them!"

"Hmph."Heero took his lance that had previously been resting on his shoulder with both hands and stabbed one of the soldiers and slung it against the wall.

Duo aimed a arrow and released, shooting it directly through anothers head.

Yang had easily sliced the others neck open with his claws.

"You'd think they'd get better guards."muttered Heero with a laugh.

Suddenly the guard that Heero thought he had defeated stood up coughing."Ugh...d-destroy the controls." He threw a small grenade and the control panel exploded. He then feel down dead.

Trowa backed away in surprise.

"Dammit!"yelled Heero.

Yang stepped over to the damaged controls.

"Yang!"Trowa yelled.

"What are you doing!?"Duo demanded.

"Leave this to me! Go!" ordered Yang.

The controls began to fizzle like everyhting was going to explode in the room.

"No!"yelled Quatre.

"It's gonna blow!"Trowa yelled.

"GO!"Yang yelled.

Yang punched Trowa which staggered back. The others pulled Trowa out and Yang shut the door.

"Yang!!" Trowa yelled.

"Trowa, everyone, I thank you."Yang said from within the room.

"Open the door!"yelled Heero.

"Yang!"Quatre pleaded.

"Please don't do this!"yelled Duo.

"tell my wife... I will always be with her."said Yang.

"YANG!!!"Trowa yelled.

"Farewell."

The room began to explodes and crumbled down.

Trowa fell to his knees and slammed his fists to the floor."Dammit!"

Duo was pulled into Heero's arms as Duo cried.Quatre stepped over to the distroyed room."Yang..." He turned to Trowa and knelt beside him."We... mustn't be sad...Yang wouldn't want us to be asd.. I've learned...to be strong...Trowa... we msut go...."

Trowa looked into Quatre's eyes. He was holding back from crying and Trowa knew it."You're right, Quatre."
